In diesen Zeichnungen zeigt:
<tb>Fig. 1<sep>eine Innenansicht einer das Gehäuse der Misch- und Kneteinrichtung bildenden, schematisch dargestellten Gehäusehälfte;
<tb>Fig. 2<sep>eine Ansicht von der einen Stirnseite auf das Gehäuse zusammen mit einem ersten Ausführungsbeispiel einer Drosselanordnung;
<tb>Fig. 3<sep>eine vergrösserte Darstellung eines einzelnen Drosselorgans;
<tb>Fig. 4<sep>eine schematische Darstellung von zwei Halbzylinderschalen sowie der Drosselanordnung nach der Fig. 2 in einer Abwicklung;
The invention relates to a mixing and kneading machine according to the preamble of claim 1 and a throttle arrangement for a mixing and kneading machine according to the preamble of claim 16.
Mixing and kneading machines referred to in the preamble of claim 1 are used for example for the processing of viscoplastic masses, for homogenizing and plasticizing plastics, for incorporation of fillers and reinforcing materials as well as for the production of raw materials for the food industry.
The mixing and kneading machines can be provided with one as well as with several working members, wherein the respective working member is usually formed as a so-called worm shaft, which transports the material to be processed forward.
In conventional mixing and kneading machines, the working body performs a rotary movement. In addition, however, mixing and kneading machines are also known in which the working member rotates and simultaneously translates. Mixing and kneading machines of the latter type are known to experts in particular under the term Buss KOKNETER <(RTM)>.
The implementation of mechanical energy in single- and multi-shaft mixing and kneading machines depends, inter alia, on the throttling or dewatering of the material flow in the working space.
For throttling at the outlet end of the mixing and kneading machine serve in the prior art, any type of outlet nozzles or tools, as a fixed, non-adjustable throttle or as in the outlet cross-section variable, i. adjustable throttle are executed. If throttling along the process path, i. between product inlet and product outlet, such restrictions are generated by local enlargements of the core diameter and / or reducing the pitch of the respective screw spiral of the working member.
From DE 2 924 800 a throttle device for a twin-screw machine is known. The throttle device is formed by an inner and an outer split sleeve, which define a gap between them, which throttles the material to be processed.
The outer split sleeve has a conical face on both sides. In order to change the cross section and in particular the length of the gap, the outer split sleeve is displaceable in the axial direction relative to the inner split sleeve. At the outer split sleeve engages a sliding bolt, by means of which the split sleeve is displaceable in the axial direction.
The sliding bolt is guided by an associated slot in the housing to the outside so that it is movable from the outside.
Starting from the known prior art, the object of the present invention is to improve a mixing and kneading machine mentioned in the preamble of claim 1 type such that the throttle assembly can be arranged at any point along the working space and the throttle resistance can be changed ,
This object is achieved with a mixing and kneading machine,
which has the features cited in the characterizing part of claim 1.
In principle, the throttle resistance can be changed both by radial adjustment of the throttle bodies as well as by rotating the same about its longitudinal axis.
Preferred embodiments of the invention are described in the dependent claims 2 to 15.
In claim 16 also a throttle assembly for a mixing and kneading machine of the type mentioned is claimed.
The invention will be explained in more detail with reference to drawings. In these drawings shows:
<Tb> FIG. 1 <sep> an interior view of a housing half of the housing of the mixing and kneading device, schematically illustrated;
<Tb> FIG. 2 <sep> is a view from the one end face on the housing together with a first embodiment of a throttle arrangement;
<Tb> FIG. 3 <sep> an enlarged view of a single throttle body;
<Tb> FIG. 4 is a schematic representation of two half-cylinder shells and the throttle arrangement according to FIG. 2 in a development;
<Tb> FIG. FIG. 5 shows an external view of a schematically illustrated housing of a mixing and kneading device for receiving an alternative embodiment of a throttle arrangement, and FIG
<Tb> FIG. 6 shows a cross section through the housing according to FIG. 5 together with the throttle arrangement shown schematically.
Fig. 1 shows an interior view of one of two housing the mixing and kneading device forming housing half 1a. The housing half 1a is provided on the top and bottom, each with a mounting flange 1b, 1c. Since both housing halves are mirror-inverted, the following statements relate to the one half of the housing on the entire housing 1; In this respect, the following is spoken in particular of the housing 1. The rotatable in the housing 1 and possibly translationally movable working member (worm shaft) is not shown.
On the inside of the housing 1 cylindrical half-shells 2 a, 2 c are arranged, which after screwing the two housing halves 1 a, 1 b to the housing 1 (FIG. 2) define a cylindrical working space 3, whose longitudinal axis is provided with the reference numeral 5. From the top of a material supply channel 4 opens radially into the working space 3. The housing 1 and the cylinder half-shells 2a, 2c are provided with a plurality of holes 6, which serve to receive so-called kneading bolts (not shown). On the side facing away from the material supply channel 4, the housing 1 is provided with rectangular, planar surfaces 7a, 7b, 7c, 7d which extend annularly around the working space 3 on the inner side of the housing.
In the center of the respective surface 7a, 7b, 7c, 7d, a bore 8a, 8b, 8c, 8d is arranged, which serve to receive and guide of a throttle body, as will be explained in more detail below. The bores 8a, 8b, 8c, 8d are designed such that their longitudinal axes extend at least approximately at a right angle to the longitudinal center axis of the working space 3.
2 shows a view from one end face on the housing 1 together with a first embodiment of a throttle assembly 10. As can be seen from this illustration, the two housing halves 1a, 1b are screwed together to the housing 1, wherein the actual Screw connections are not shown.
On the inside of the housing 1, eight throttle bodies 11a, 11b, 11c are arranged distributed annularly, which together form an annular, aperture-like, acting as a throttle portion constriction.
Fig. 3 shows an enlarged detail of the detail C of FIG. 2, from which in particular a single throttle body 11a can be seen. The throttle body 11a is provided with a rotatably mounted in the half cylinder shell 2a shaft 12a and has a rhombic cross-section and a trapezoidal contour. In order to enable a rotation of the throttle body 11a within the circular working space 3, the respective half-cylinder shell 2a is provided on the side facing the throttle member 11a with a flat, preferably round or rectangular, surface 7d.
The half cylinder shell 2a facing the rear side of the throttle body 11 a is also flat. Furthermore, it can be seen that the bore 8a is guided outwardly through the half cylinder shell 2a, the housing half 1a, where the shaft 12a is fixed to a rotary fastening mechanism 15. This rotary fastening mechanism 15 serves to rotate the throttle body 11 a about its longitudinal axis 13.
The operation of the rotary fastening mechanism 15 can be carried out by an electric motor, mechanically, hydraulically or pneumatically, wherein the adjustment of the throttle body 11a from the outside continuously or in increments, without the mixing and kneading open and the processing process must be interrupted.
In the present example, the longitudinal axis 13 of the throttle body 11a extends at a right angle to the longitudinal center axis 5 of the working space. 3
It is understood that this is by no means mandatory, but that the throttle bodies with respect to the longitudinal center axis 5 of the working space 3 can also be arranged inclined, so that the longitudinal axis 13 at a 90 °. deviating angle to the longitudinal center axis of the working space 3 extends.
Fig. 4 shows a schematic representation of two half-cylinder shells 2a, 2b and the throttle assembly 10 of FIG. 2 in a settlement. From this illustration, eight rotatable in the housing or the half cylinder shell 2a arranged throttle bodies 11a-11h can be seen. In addition, it can be seen that the throttle elements 11a-11h have a diamond-shaped cross-section. The throttle bodies 11a-11h are arranged in this example in a plane E which is perpendicular to the longitudinal axis 5 of the working space.
Seen from top to bottom, the individual throttle bodies 11a-11h are each at 15 °. shown twisted about its longitudinal axis. In order to effect a maximum stowage effect along the working space, the throttle bodies are rotated in the transverse position, while a rotation in the longitudinal position causes the lowest stowage effect or the lowest throttle resistance. The throttle member 11b is shown in the lateral position while the throttle member 11h is shown in the longitudinal direction. Of course, all intermediate stages between the transverse and the longitudinal position are possible. Throttle resistance is to be understood as the resistance which is opposed to the product to be processed in the mixing and kneading device during the longitudinal movement in the working space through the throttle arrangement.
By varying the throttle resistance, a parameter determining the quality of the end product can be product-specifically varied without the housing 1 having to be opened and the processing process having to be interrupted.
Alternatively to the embodiment shown, in which the throttle bodies are arranged in a plane E, the throttle bodies can also spatially offset, for example, sinusoidal, are arranged.
Instead of a single throttle arrangement, the mixing and kneading device can also be provided with a plurality of throttle arrangements, wherein the distance between the respective throttle arrangements can be adapted to the requirements.
5 shows an outside view of a schematically illustrated housing 20 of a mixing and kneading device, which serves to receive an alternative embodiment of the throttle arrangement. From this representation, in particular an annular portion 21 can be seen, which is provided with radial bores 22 for receiving individual throttle bodies.
The working space of the housing 20 is provided with the reference numeral 23, while a material supply channel opening from above into the working space 23 bears the reference numeral 24.
Fig. 6 shows schematically a cross section through the housing according to Fig. 5 and also schematically shown throttle assembly 25. The individual throttle bodies 26a-26i are formed as bolts with a round cross-section, provided on the back with a threaded pin 28a-28i are on which each a locking nut 27a-27i attacks. After loosening the locking nut 27a-27i, the throttle bodies 26a-26i can be moved individually by rotating the respective threaded pin 28a-28i from the outside in the radial direction and the throttle resistance can be changed.
In the present case, radial direction is to be understood as meaning that the throttle elements 26a-26i can be displaced radially to the round working space 3.
In addition to the two examples shown above, in which in one case the throttle resistance is changed by rotating the throttle body about the longitudinal axis and in the other case by a radial adjustment of the throttle body, of course, combinations of radial displacement and rotation about the longitudinal axis are possible , The only mandatory requirement for such a combination is that the respective throttle body has a different cross section from a circle.
