Abstract
The mobile, self-supporting sunshade for use on a beach, hard ground or grass land can be used by several persons for protection against sun burn. It provides an ideal central shade surface (23) which during the whole day when the sun is shining (14) can remain on the same ground area. The self-supporting construction enables it to be fixed simply with only two tension ropes (17) on loose ground. It does not have the customary central foot. It has an upper, elliptical protective sheet (1) with the two tension ropes (17) for fixture to the ground. The sheet has two compound fiber bars (3) and a variably adjustable ground tension rope (9). The sheet edges have a longitudinal seam (2) with double rings (16) and sand pockets (27).
Description

The invention relates to a device for a portable, variable sun or wind protection for several people.
To avoid skin burns from the sun, it will be increasingly important for individuals or groups of people to protect themselves from it. A portable sunscreen for recreational activities is becoming more and more essential and should be easy to set up and easy to disassemble. This on both sandy, hard or meadow ground.
For this purpose, two basic sun protection systems are already known. In the classic parasol, however, the area of the largest shadow is often obstructed unfavorably by a centrally placed support foot. The shadow is also usually too small to protect people over the entire length of the body from the sun.
In normal awnings, a set up is only possible with many support rods and / or many tethers, which often makes it easy to set up on loose terrain.
The invention has the object of providing a handy shade dispenser for several people in such a way that with simple means a shadow roof can be created at an east-west-oriented ground / longitudinal position and the sun angle corresponding slope towards the south, a ideal central shading area can be created which remains on the same floor area during most of the day's sun. The self-supporting construction also allows easy fixation with only two guy ropes on loose ground.
By eliminating the usual central foot (as in the parasol) is achieved that the shadow-seeking persons find a sufficiently large shadow area and do not have to constantly reposition to remain in the shadow area.
Further embodiments of the subject invention can be found in the dependent claims.
The invention will be described in more detail with reference to an embodiment.

Fig. 8: The detail front view of the floor tensioning cable with a rope lug and the snap hook for the arc tension.
This object is achieved by a corresponding elliptical cut canvas 1 with two longitudinal guide channels 2 (longitudinal seam) for the multi-part composite fiber rods 3. The shape of the canvas 1 determines on the one hand the canvas properties and on the other hand the inherent tension of the composite fiber rods 3.
For the connection of the individual elements of the composite fiber rods 3, both rigid, pluggable connection sleeves 4 and also screwable joint connectors 5 are conceivable (both possibilities are known connection variants). The four ends 6 of the two composite fiber rods 3 are provided with a ring eyelet 7 and are held together with a snap hook 8. By connecting the respectively attached to the ends of snap hooks 8 with a bottom tensioning cable 9 and an additional snap hook 10, the solar sail is given the self-supporting bias. By attached to the ground tensioning cable 9, at different points, rope pockets 11 and snap hook 10, the bow height 12 and the arc length 13 of the awning can be easily adapted to the needs of the shadow seekers and the requirements of the shadow area and ground conditions.
Before the final setting up of the awning, it is important to know the daily sun history 14. According to the sun track 15, the floor tensioning cable 9 ideally runs in east-west direction.
The attached in the guide channel 2 (longitudinal seam) special double eyelets 16 (1X on top, 1X at the bottom and on each longitudinal side thereof 3 sets) allow the suspension of the guy ropes 17 with the known rope tensioners 18. In low wind conditions, the attachment of only sufficient two guy ropes 17. This happens in that with a small S-hook 19 is retracted by the double eyes 16 and at the same time to the composite fiber rods 3. This allows a simultaneous tensioning of the canvas 1 and the bow linkage. 3
The so statically balanced construction, consisting of the upper sheet of canvas fabric 1 with the two composite fiber rods 3, and the bottom tensioning cable 9, allows the tension with only two, by pegs 20 fixed to the ground, guy ropes 17. For larger wind loads can each side two guy ropes 21 V-shaped to be attached. As a result, even greater static strength is achieved. In order to achieve good stability in very hard or loose soil conditions, the pegs 20 can be supported or replaced by ballast bags 22 filled with sand or stones.
In order to produce a central spot surface 23 which remains as possible in place, the entire sunscreen should be inclined towards the south in accordance with the daily sun gradient 14.
If the whole sun sail bow is inclined against the wind direction 25 all the way to the ground 26 and fixed with pegs 20 through the double eyes 16 or with sand (attached sand pockets 27) on the ground, again creates a variable wind protection requirements.
