State of the art
The invention relates to an electric hand machine tool of the type defined in the preamble of claim 1.
In a known electric hand-held power tool designed as an impact drill (DE 4 213 291 A1), the torque clutch is a safety clutch designed as a slip clutch with disc springs, which protects the machine and the user when the tool is blocked during the drilling process. The setting element for setting different operating modes enables a gear change and a changeover from percussion drilling operation to hammer or chisel operation.
So-called cordless screwdrivers are known in which the maximum permissible torque with which a screw is to be tightened can be set by means of the setting member. The torque setting is graded and can be adjusted by moving the setting element into several setting positions.
Advantages of the invention
The inventive electric hand machine tool with the features of claim 1 has the advantage that the appearance of the setting member can be varied from machine to machine by dividing the setting member into a switching ring performing the gear setting functions and a design ring for manual actuation, without changes to the Setting required gearbox. The switching ring is part of the gearbox, is defined by the existing requirements and fulfills all those functions that are the same for all gear types. The design ring takes over all variable functions, is not determined by the gearbox and can be installed and replaced at any time.
Its appearance can be changed from machine to machine, as can the number of setting positions and their position in relation to the angle of rotation of the design ring. The adjustment gear is fully functional without a design ring, in which case only the torque adjustment is infinitely variable.
The measures listed in the further claims allow advantageous developments and improvements of the electric hand machine tool specified in claim 1.
According to a preferred embodiment of the invention, a locking clutch is integrated in the torque clutch, which creates a positive connection in the direction of rotation between the coupling parts of the torque clutch. The blocking clutch can be engaged and disengaged by means of the setting element and the switching functions required for this are carried out by the switching ring.
According to an advantageous embodiment of the invention, a striking mechanism is provided for axially driving the tool spindle or a tool driven by the tool spindle. The striking mechanism can be switched on and off by means of the setting element, the switching functions required for this being carried out by the switching ring.
These constructive designs of the electric hand machine tool have the advantage that, in addition to the setting functions for the torque clutch, the switching ring can also be used to perform other holding functions for switching on and off certain operating modes of the electric hand machine tool, e.g. In a combined electric hand machine tool that can be used as a screwing and drilling tool, the operating modes "percussion drilling" and "drilling", the torque clutch being ineffective in both operating modes and the blocking clutch integrated in the torque clutch being engaged.
The blocking clutch prevents the clutch from transmitting axial forces during drilling, which would lead to a heavy load on the transmission housing, and relieves the clutch spring of the torque clutch, so that the torque clutch has a significantly longer service life.
According to an advantageous embodiment of the invention, the design ring is cap-shaped and can be snapped onto the switching ring, wherein the locking positions are fixed in the design ring, to which setting positions of the switching ring can be assigned to carry out the setting and switching functions. As a result, the design ring can be installed at any time without additional tools and without additional fasteners, and subsequent replacement is possible. By defining the locking positions differently, the number of stages for torque adjustment, the adjustment angle from stage to stage and the end position angle can be realized differently with the same adjustment gear.

Description of the embodiment
The electric hand machine tool shown in detail in longitudinal section in FIG. 1 can be used as a drill, as an impact drill and as an electric screwdriver with adjustable torque. An electric motor, not shown here, is accommodated in a machine housing, indicated by 10, which drives a tool spindle 12 mounted in a spindle bearing 36 via a gear 11. The tool spindle 12 carries at the end a threaded pin 121 on which a chuck can be screwed on, which is used for clamping drills, impact drills or various screwing tools. A torque clutch 13 is arranged in the transmission chain between the electric motor and the tool spindle 12, the maximum transmissible torque of which can be preselected in stages by means of a manual adjusting element 14.
In addition, the setting member 14 also has two further setting positions for setting the "percussion drilling" operating mode and the "drilling" operating mode. In these two operating modes, the torque clutch 13 is switched rigidly, so it is ineffective as a torque clutch and acts as a blocking clutch.
Specifically, the torque clutch 13 has a clutch housing 15 (FIGS. 1, 2, 6, 7, 10, 12) on which an annular first clutch part 16 (FIG. 9) is held in a rotationally fixed and axially displaceable manner. The first clutch part 16 is in engagement with a second clutch part 18 formed on a ring gear 17 of a planetary gear stage of the transmission 11. Arc-shaped coupling cams 161 lie on the first coupling part 16 between beveled coupling cams 181 of the second coupling part 18. In addition, the second coupling part 18 also carries claws 182, which are arranged radially further outwards than the coupling cams 181 and are approximately radially aligned therewith.
The coupling part 16 also carries claws 162 which protrude on the side of the first coupling part 16 facing away from the second coupling part 18 and which serve for the rotationally fixed anchoring of the first coupling part 16 on the coupling housing 15. The coupling housing 15 has an external thread 151 (FIG. 7) on which an adjusting nut 19 can be screwed. Between the adjusting nut 19 and the first coupling part 16, a coupling spring 20 is supported, which holds the coupling cams 161 and 181 on the two coupling parts 16 and 18 in a frictional engagement. The further the adjusting nut 19 is advanced towards the first coupling part 16 by turning on the external thread 151, the greater the preload of the coupling spring 20 and the greater the maximum torque that can be transmitted to the tool spindle 12 via the torque coupling 13.
As long as the set torque on the tool is not exceeded, the ring gear 17 is blocked and the planet gears 21 mounted on a planet gear carrier 22 roll on the internal toothing 171 of the ring gear 17. The thereby rotating planet gear carrier 22 drives the tool spindle 12. On the other hand, if the counter torque acting on the tool spindle 12 exceeds the torque set by the clutch spring 20, the clutch cams 161 and 181 turn past the two clutch parts 16 and 18. Thus, the ring gear 17 of the transmission 11 is no longer blocked, so that the planet gears 21 in the transmission 11 are no longer supported on the internal thread 171 of the ring gear 17 and thus can no longer transmit torque to the threaded spindle 12 via the planet gear carrier 22.
As can be seen from FIGS. 1 and 2, the setting member 14 has a switching sleeve 23 (FIG. 7), a cap-shaped design ring 24 (FIG. 3) which overlaps the switching sleeve 23 and a cover 25 clipped onto the end face of the clutch housing 15 (FIG . 5), which serves to guide the switching sleeve 23 and the axial, rotatable mounting of the design ring 24. The clip hooks for fastening the cover 25 are designated in FIGS. 5 and 2 with 251 and the clip hooks for receiving the design ring 24 with 252. It can be seen in FIG. 2 that the clip hooks 251 engage behind corresponding lugs 152 on the clutch housing 15 and the clip hooks 252 engage in an annular groove 245 on the design ring 24.
The shift sleeve 23 guided on the cover 25 engages with a wedge profile in the adjusting nut 19, so that when the shift sleeve 23 is rotated, the adjusting nut 19 is carried along and is screwed onto the external thread 151 of the clutch housing 15 with axial displacement. Switching sleeve 23 and adjusting nut 19 together form a switching ring, of which all setting functions of the torque clutch 13 as well as all switching functions for engaging and disengaging the blocking clutch integrated in the torque clutch 13 and for switching on and off a hammer mechanism 30 to be described for the operating mode "hammer drilling" be performed. Between the cover 25 and the clutch housing 15, a detent spring 26 (Fig. 4) is clamped against rotation and displacement. The detent spring 26 has a detent head 261 which interacts with detent recesses 241 in the design ring 24.
The position and the number of locking recesses 241 in the design ring 24 determine the position and number of the individual setting positions of the setting member 14. The design ring 24 is snapped onto the switching sleeve 23 and connected to it in a rotationally fixed manner. For this purpose, webs 242 on the inside of the design ring 24 (FIG. 3B) engage in corresponding recesses 231 in the switching sleeve 23 (FIG. 7). Clip elements 243 formed on the inside of the design ring 24, which engage behind corresponding lugs 232 formed on the upper side of the switching sleeve 23 (FIG. 2), serve for axially immovable fixing of the design ring 24 on the switching sleeve 23.
The order of the setting positions of the setting member 14 is determined so that in the first setting position the "hammer drilling" mode, in the following second setting position the "drilling" mode and in further, e.g. fifteen successive, setting positions different torque levels of the torque clutch 13 are adjustable for use of the hand tool as a screwdriver. With increasing rotation of the design ring 24, that is to say with an increasing number of the setting position, the maximum transferable torque set in the torque clutch 13 increases step by step. In the first two setting positions of the design ring 24, the torque clutch 13 is deactivated and the blocking clutch is inserted, the clutch spring 20 being largely relieved.
For the rigid connection of the torque clutch 13 or for engaging the blocking clutch integrated in the torque clutch 13, a plurality of blocking wedges 27, which are arranged distributed over the circumference, are axially displaceably guided in the clutch housing 15 and overlap the coupling part 16, which is fixed in a rotationally fixed manner on the clutch housing 15, between the claws 162 Only one blocking wedge 27 can be seen, which is shown in two different views in FIG. As can also be seen in FIG. 10, the blocking wedge 27 is pressed by means of a compression spring 28, which is supported in the clutch housing 15, against an axially increasing circumferential cam track 29, which is formed on the switching sleeve 23.
The compression spring 28 engages on one end face 271 (FIG. 11B) oriented transversely to the direction of displacement of the blocking wedge 27 and is received by a pin 273, while the end face 272 facing away from it bears against the cam track 29. The two longitudinal surfaces 274 and 275 of the blocking wedge 27, which extend parallel to the direction of displacement of the blocking wedge 27, are designed as stop surfaces. In the first two setting positions of the design ring 24 for the operating modes "impact drilling" and "drilling", the switching sleeve 23 has a rotational position such that the cam track 29 pushes the blocking wedge 27 against the compression spring 28 between the claws 182 on the second coupling part 18.
Thus, one of the stop surfaces 274, 275 of the blocking wedge 27 bears against one of the axially extending surfaces 182a or 182b of the claws 182 (FIG. 8), and a purely positive connection is established between the two coupling parts 16, 18. In the case of a plurality of blocking wedges 27 arranged uniformly distributed over the circumference, each blocking wedge 27 is supported on a separate cam track 29, the cam track 29 being arranged concentrically with one another at a radial distance from one another on the end face of the switching sleeve 23 facing the clutch 13.
If the design ring 24 is rotated further beyond the first two setting positions, the cam tracks 29 step back and the locking wedges 27 are pushed out of the second coupling part 18 again by the compression springs 28, so that the torque clutch 13 is now effective, the maximum transmissible torque of the preloading force the clutch spring 20 is determined.
For the "hammer drilling" operating mode, the tool spindle 12 is set in addition to its rotational movement in an axial stroke movement with a small axial stroke. For this purpose, a ratchet forming a striking mechanism 30 is provided with two ratchet parts 31, 32 (FIGS. 1 and 14), of which the first ratchet part 31 is rigidly connected to the tool spindle 12, while the second ratchet part 32 is fixed in the clutch housing 15 in a rotationally fixed and axially displaceable manner is. A compression spring 33 fixes the second ratchet part 32 at a stop 34 in the clutch housing 15.
The two ratchet parts 31, 32 of the striking mechanism 30, which can be seen in an exploded view in FIG. 14, are engaged by the compression spring 33 and a further compression spring 35, as a pressure spring, which is supported between the tool spindle 19 and the spindle bearing 36, with their mutually facing ratchet teeth held. The axial stroke exerted by the tool spindle 12 during rotation is determined by the axial height of the ratchet teeth. If the design ring 24 is in its first setting position, the two ratchet parts 31, 32 are in engagement with one another via their ratchet teeth. The striking mechanism 30 is switched on.
If the design ring 24 is rotated into its next setting position, a shifting mimic 37 ensures that the tool spindle 12 is shifted so far (to the right in FIG. 1) that the two ratchet parts 31, 32 are disengaged, as shown in FIG. 1 is shown. When the tool spindle 12 is moved, the second ratchet part 32 rests under the force of the compression spring 33 against the stop 34 in the coupling housing 15, so that it cannot follow the displacement movement of the tool spindle 12 and thus the first ratchet part 31. The striking mechanism 30 is switched off. The tool spindle 12 executes a pure rotational movement.
The shifting mimic 37, which is shown in FIG. 1 for the sake of clarity only as a structural unit, can be seen in an exploded view in FIG. 13. It comprises a bearing cup 38, in which the spindle bearing 36 is received in a form-fitting manner and pressed onto the pot base by the pressure spring 35, a link ring 39, which is non-rotatably seated on the coupling housing 15, and a coupling ring 40, which has the link ring 39 on the circumference with segments 401 overlaps, which are received in the switching sleeve 23 in a form-fitting manner and produce a rotationally fixed connection between the switching sleeve 23 and the coupling ring 40. The link ring 39 carries on its end face facing the coupling ring 40 two lifting ramps 41 which are arranged at a distance from one another in the circumferential direction.
Each lifting ramp 41 rises from the ring surface of the link ring 39 as seen in the circumferential direction and drops again towards the ring surface. The coupling ring 40, which lies flat on the ring surface of the link ring 39, carries a recess 42 in the region of each lifting ramp 41, the length of each recess 42 being greater than the ramp length. The bearing cup 38 overlaps the coupling ring 40 with three claws 43 offset from one another by the same circumferential angle, on its end face facing away from the link ring 39, the claws 43 simultaneously fixing the bearing pot 38 in the link ring 39 in a rotationally fixed manner.
FIG. 12 shows a perspective view of the assembled shifting mimic 37. In the position shown there, the lifting ramps 41 on the link ring 39 protrude through the cutouts 42 in the coupling ring 40, and the coupling ring 40 lies flat on the link ring 39. According to what has been said above, the pressure spindle 35 displaces the tool spindle 12 so far to the left in FIG. 1 that the ratchet parts 31, 32 are in engagement with one another and the second ratchet part 32 is lifted off the stop 34. The "hammer drilling" operating mode is switched on, the blocking clutch being engaged by the corresponding rotational position of the switching sleeve 23.
If the design ring 24 is now rotated into its second setting position, the coupling ring 40 pushes onto the lifting ramps 41, the bearing cup 38 being axially displaced against the force of the pressure spring 35 via the claws 43. The spindle bearing 36 supported on a shoulder 122 of the tool spindle 12 (FIG. 1) shifts the tool spindle to the right in FIG. 1. The axial displacement, which is determined by the axial height of the lifting ramps 41, is dimensioned such that the ratchet parts 31, 32 come out of engagement and the second ratchet part 32 bears against the stop 34. The "drilling" operating mode is set, the blocking clutch remaining engaged due to the corresponding rotational position of the switching sleeve 23.
If the design ring 24 is rotated further from this second setting position into further setting positions, the rotating coupling ring 40 is no longer able to leave the lifting ramps 41, so that the striking mechanism 30 is ineffective in all further rotational positions of the design ring 24. At the same time, the cam tracks 29 on the shift sleeve 23 are designed in this rotational range such that the blocking wedges 27 are pushed out of the second coupling part 18 again by their compression springs 28, so that the blocking clutch is disengaged and the torque clutch 13 is effective.
The invention is not restricted to the exemplary embodiment described. So the order in the arrangement of the setting positions of the setting member 14 for the operating modes "percussion drilling", "drilling" and torque preselection is not mandatory. With a correspondingly different design of the shifting mimic 37, the setting positions for the operating modes "percussion drilling" and "drilling" can change places. These two setting positions do not necessarily have to lie in front of the group of setting positions for the torque specification, although this is advantageous for relieving the clutch spring 20 in these two operating modes. If one accepts a certain clutch spring load, then further setting positions for the operating modes "drilling" and / or "percussion drilling" can also be interspersed between the group of torque setting positions.
As a result, shorter switching paths for the setting element 14 can be achieved.
