Gleiche Bezugszeichen bedeuten in beiden Figuren gleiche Einzelteile.
The invention relates to a heating device according to the introductory part of claim 1.
In known heating devices of this type, separate devices arranged in separate housings, in other words a fuel cell arrangement and an additional burner with a separate heat exchanger, are provided, the exhaust gases of the fuel cell arrangement possibly being conducted via a separate heat exchanger.
This results in the disadvantage of considerable design effort.
The aim of the invention is to avoid this disadvantage and to propose a heating device of the type mentioned at the outset, which is distinguished by a very simple construction.
According to the invention, this is achieved in a heating device of the type mentioned at the outset by the features of claim 1.
The proposed measures result in a very simple construction in which there are very few lines to be installed on site. A very extensive use of the heat generated in the fuel cell arrangement is possible, as a result of which the proposed heating device is also distinguished by a high degree of efficiency.
Due to the proposed arrangement in the housing or the vacuum chamber and the selected air duct, in the event of a fault, e.g. in the event of CO leakage from the fuel cell reformer, it must be ensured that no dangerous gases or exhaust gases can enter the installation room.
The features of claim 2 give the advantage of a particularly simple construction.
In principle, however, it is also possible to provide separate heat exchangers for the exhaust gases from the fuel cell arrangement and the additional burner, in which case the two heat exchangers can be adapted precisely to the prevailing conditions.
The features of claim 3 result in the advantage that, in the case of a low heat requirement of the heat consumer downstream of the heat exchanger (s), the temperature of the exhaust gases flowing off can be reduced accordingly. In addition, the operation of the heating device can be controlled on the basis of the detected pressure difference between the interior of the housing and the interior of the exhaust gas collector and / or the exhaust gas temperature.
The bypass opening also makes it possible to decouple the blowers of the auxiliary burner and the fuel cell arrangement and the exhaust gas blower, in particular if the cross section of the bypass openings is adjustable. This makes it easy to adapt the operation of the heating device to the prevailing conditions.
The invention will now be explained in more detail with reference to the drawing. 1 and 2 schematically show two different embodiments of heating devices according to the invention.
The same reference symbols in both figures mean the same individual parts.
In the embodiment according to FIG. 1, a fuel cell arrangement 1, which also includes a blower 13, is arranged in a housing 11 designed as a vacuum chamber.
Furthermore, an additional burner 10 is arranged in the housing 11 and is supported by a blower 12 integrated in this.
The fuel cell arrangement 1 is connected to a heat exchanger 3 via an exhaust gas line 2 and acts on it. This heat exchanger 3 is also connected to the additional burner 10 via an exhaust pipe 9 and can also be acted upon by the latter.
Above the heat exchanger 3, an exhaust manifold 4 is arranged, in which an exhaust gas blower 5 is arranged, the pressure side of which is connected to an exhaust gas line 6. The exhaust manifold 4 is provided with bypass openings 8 through which secondary air can flow into the exhaust manifold 4 from the interior of the housing 11. Furthermore, a temperature sensor (not shown in FIG. 1) is provided after the heat exchanger 3 and is connected to a control of the exhaust gas blower 5, which is also not shown.
A differential pressure sensor which detects the pressure difference between the interior of the housing 11 and the interior of the exhaust manifold 4 is also connected to this control.
The air is fed into the housing 11, which is technically tight except for the exhaust gas line 6, as a vacuum chamber and therefore into the combustion air line 7, which can optionally be led outside through a wall of the installation room.
The embodiment according to FIG. 2 differs from that according to FIG. 1 in that instead of the common heat exchanger 3 separate heat exchangers 31, 32 are provided, of which the heat exchanger 31 is acted upon by the additional burner 10 and the heat exchanger 32 by the fuel cell arrangement 1 .
These heat exchangers 31, 32 are connected via connecting lines 21 and 91 to the common exhaust manifold 4, in which a temperature sensor for detecting the exhaust gas temperature is provided in this embodiment.
During operation, gas, water and air containing hydrocarbons are fed to the fuel cell arrangement 1 and converted into electrical current and heat in this. The resulting hot exhaust gases are fed to the heat exchanger 32 or the common heat exchanger 3 and heat is removed from the latter. The cooled exhaust gases then enter the exhaust manifold 4 and are drawn off by the exhaust fan 5.
When the fuel cell arrangement 1 and the auxiliary burner 10 are operated together, or when the auxiliary burner is operated in a solo mode, when there is only a heat requirement but no need for electrical current, the hot combustion lanes of the auxiliary burner 10 reach the heat exchanger 31 or the common heat exchanger 3 and emit heat . The cooled exhaust gases then reach the exhaust manifold 4.
If the exhaust gas temperature after the heat exchanger 3, or in the exhaust manifold 4 exceeds a certain setpoint, which is detected by the temperature sensor mentioned, the speed of the exhaust gas fan 5 is increased, whereby more secondary air from the inside of the housing 11 into the interior of the exhaust manifold 4 can flow in and lower the temperature of the exhaust gases. Furthermore, it is also possible to provide an increase in the bypass openings 8 of the exhaust manifold 4 instead of increasing the speed of the exhaust fan 5. All that is required is to provide the bypass openings 8 with adjustable or controllable flaps.
Conversely, if the exhaust gas temperature is below a certain value, the speed of the exhaust gas blower 5 is reduced or the cross section of the bypass openings 8 is reduced in order to save energy.
Furthermore, the speed of the exhaust fan 5 is dependent on the differential pressure between the interior of the housing 11 and the exhaust manifold 4. Thus, if the differential pressure falls below a target value, the speed of the exhaust gas blower 5 is increased, the cross section of the bypass openings 8 is increased or, conversely, if the differential pressure is too high, the speed of the exhaust gas blower is reduced, or the cross section of the bypass openings 8 is reduced.
Furthermore, as seen in the flow direction of the exhaust gas flow, the exhaust gas temperature can be detected after the exhaust gas fan 5 by means of a sensor, not shown, which is connected to the control of the exhaust gas fan 5. If a predetermined target value is exceeded, the speed of the exhaust gas blower 5 is increased or the cross section of the bypass openings 8 is increased, and conversely if the temperature falls below a certain value, the speed of the exhaust gas blower 5 is reduced or the cross section of the bypass openings 8 is reduced.
