The invention relates to a folding door system according to the preamble of claim 1.
Such a folding door system is known for. B. through the folding door FTA 105 of the Swiss company Record. In this known system, the drive has a worm gear. Another gear is connected between the output shaft of the worm gear and the door shaft in order to enable the door shaft to be arranged in the edge region of the door leaf.
The invention has for its object to provide a folding door system with a particularly compact structure.
The invention achieves this object with the features of claim 1. Particularly advantageous refinements result from the features of the remaining claims 2 to 20.
The use of the spur gear results in a high degree of compactness. Advantageously, the housing, e.g. Cast housing of the spur gear serve as a door pivot bearing. This also ensures particularly high stability.
Particularly easy to install, e.g. when replacing the door leaf, versions with a thru axle are found.
An exemplary embodiment is explained below in connection with the figures. Show:

Fig. 7 Individual representation in Fig. 4, length tensioning device 215b
The exemplary embodiment in FIGS. 1 to 7 is a folding door system with two opposing folding door leaves 1, 2. The folding door leaves 1, 2 each consist of two leaves 1a, 1b and 2a, 2b. The wings 1a, 1b and 2a, 2b are connected to one another in an articulated manner via connecting joints 1c, 2c. The left folding door leaf 1 is pivotally mounted on the left vertical frame spar 3 in a fixed door pivot bearing 1d. The door pivot bearing consists of an upper and a lower pivot bearing. Correspondingly, the right folding door leaf 2 is mounted in a door pivot bearing 2d on the right vertical frame spar 3. On their front closing edge 1e, 2e, the wings 1b, 2b carry guide rollers 1f, 2f in the region of their upper and lower edges, which are guided displaceably in stationary rails in the upper horizontal frame frame 4 or in the floor 5.
The folding door has an electromechanical automatic drive with an electric motor 10 with electronic control 11. The structure of this drive corresponds to that of a conventional swing door drive, as it e.g. is described in DE-OS 3 935 173. The motor 10 has a horizontal output shaft 10a with a bevel helical gear 10b connected downstream with a vertical gear output shaft 10c. The transmission output shaft 10c is connected to the door leaf 1 in a rotationally fixed manner and arranged in alignment in the door axis 1h.
The bevel spur gear 10b is designed as a right-angled spur gear with a first bevel gear 110a, which is non-rotatably and coaxially on the horizontal motor output shaft 10a and a second bevel gear 110c, which is seated on the vertical gear output shaft. The bevel spur gear 10b has a stable cast housing 110b which is mounted in a fixed manner in the frame 4, in which the bevel gears 110a, 110c as well as the motor output shaft 10a and the gear output shaft 10c are mounted.
The cast housing 110b simultaneously forms the upper bearing of the door pivot bearing 1d, the lower bearing of the door pivot bearing 1d is designed as a ball bearing which is fixedly arranged in the floor profile 5 and receives the lower end of the door leaf in the region of the door axis 1h.
The vertical transmission output shaft 10c is connected to the door leaf 1 via a plug-in axle 10d. For the rotationally fixed connection to the plug-in axle 10d, the transmission output shaft 10c has at its lower end an end toothing 10e which engages in a complementary end toothing at the upper end of the plug-in axle 10d. The thru axle 10d is designed as a splined shaft. It engages in a complementary receptacle in the door leaf 1 in the area of the door axis 1h in a rotationally fixed manner.
In Fig. 1, the left door leaf 1 is driven directly in this way via the drive 10. The door leaf 2 is carried in synchronism in opposite directions via a transmission element 15 which is partially designed as a chain. For this purpose, the transmission output shaft 10c is rotatably connected to a drive disk 17, via which the transmission element 15 is driven.
The drive pulley 17 has a spur toothing which engages in a spur toothing 10f on the upper end of the transmission output shaft 10c in a rotationally fixed manner. The transmission element 15 drives a drive disk 16, which is connected to the door leaf 2 in the region of the door axis 2h in a rotationally fixed manner. The drive disk 16 is mounted in the upper door pivot bearing of the door leaf 2 in a manner corresponding to the drive disk 17 in the upper door pivot bearing of the door leaf 1. The upper door pivot bearing of the door leaf 2 is constructed in the same way as for the door leaf 1. It is the same component, only 180 DEG mounted rotated.
In the cast housing 110b there is a vertical shaft 12c, which corresponds to the transmission output shaft 10c and also rotatably supports a multi-spline plug-in shaft 10d, with spur gears for the rotationally fixed coupling of the drive disk 16 and the vertical shaft 12c on the one hand and the vertical shaft 12c and the plug-in shaft 10d on the other hand is.
The upper bearing of the pivot door bearing 2d is thus completely analog and constructed with the same components as the upper bearing of the pivot door bearing 1d. The same components are used, only the bevel gear 110a and the drive unit with the electric motor 10 being omitted. For reasons of unification for easier manufacture, the bevel gear 110c, as shown in FIG. 5, can be used blindly. The lower pivot door bearing of the door leaf 2 is constructed in the same way as for door leaf 1.
The transmission element 15 is designed as a chain in the sections in which it surrounds the drive disks 16, 17. The drive disks 16, 17 are designed as sprockets. This ensures a slip-free drive. The transmission element 15 is guided crosswise in the form of an eight, which results in a synchronous opposite movement of the door leaves 1, 2 when opening and closing. When opening the door leaves 1, 2 turn clockwise or counterclockwise around their fixed door axes 1h or 2h. The door leaves 1a, 1b and 2a, 2b pivot forward in FIG. 1 or in the direction of arrow A in FIGS. 2 and 3. The axes of the connecting joints 1c, 2c are thereby moved out of the door plane. The closing edges 1e, 2e run over the guide rollers 1f, 2f guided in rails in the door plane to the left or to the right.
The closing process is reversed in a corresponding manner.
In order to achieve an axial connection of the drive pulley 16 or 17, the vertical shaft 12c or 10c and the plug-in axis 10d, a central vertical clamping screw 30 is provided which is supported with its head on the drive pulley 16 or 17 and with its threaded end is screwed into a central internal thread in the thru axle 10d. By tightening the clamping screw 30, the spur gears 10e and 10f are pressed into engagement and thus the axial connection is established. A horizontal clamping screw 31 is provided for axially securing the thru axle 10d in the receptacle in the door leaf 1 or 2, which engages tangentially in the area of the spline teeth.
To replace the wings 1, 2, the clamping screw 31 is first loosened and then the clamping screw 30 is unscrewed upwards to such an extent that the plug axis 10b is released from the vertical shaft 10c or 12c. The plug-in axle 10d falls downward from the engagement of the front toothing 10e into the receptacle in the door leaf 1 or 2. Now the door leaf can be lifted up from the lower pivot bearing and finally removed from the upper and lower pivot bearing to the side or to the front. The insertion of the door leaves 1, 2 takes place in the opposite manner.
The two chain-shaped sections of the transmission element 15, which are provided in the working area of the drive pulleys 16 and 17, i.e. comb with these are connected to one another via rod devices 115 and 215, respectively. The one bar device 215 is designed as a double bar, the bar device 115 as a single bar, the single bar 115 being passed between the two bars of the double bar 215 in the region of intersection. The chain-shaped sections are attached to the ends of the rod devices 115 and 215 via adjustable length tensioning devices 115a and 115b or 215a and 215b.
With these length tensioning devices, an axial shortening or lengthening of the transmission element 15 can be adjusted, on the one hand to tension the transmission element 15 and, on the other hand, to adjust the door leaves in their door position to one another for the exact synchronous operation of the doors.
The rods of the rod devices 115 and 215 are designed as threaded rods or as rods with threaded ends.
The length tensioners 115a. 115b, 215a, 215b are arranged at the ends of the rods and have threaded nut devices which are connected to the respective chain ends. By turning the threaded nut devices there is an axial shortening or lengthening depending on the direction of rotation when adjusting.
Basically, when each length tensioning device 115a, 115b, 215a, 215b is adjusted, the transmission element 15 is tensioned or relaxed by adjusting the pairs of length tensioning devices 115a and 215a or 115b and 215b or 115a and 215b or 115b and 215a in a coordinated manner the door leaves 1 and 2 to coordinate. This means that for the coordinated adjustment of the angle of rotation of the door leaves 1, 2 and simultaneous tensioning and relaxing of the transmission element 15, two tensioning devices are required and must be actuated, which are located on opposite sections of the transmission element between the drive disks 16, 17. Basically, the above-mentioned pairs of length-tensioning devices come into question for this.
The length tensioning devices 115a and 115b are constructed in the same way. The longitudinal tensioning devices 215a and 215b are also constructed identically. The longitudinal tensioning device 115b in FIG. 6 has two parallel threaded rods 1 115b, the ends of which engage through holders 2 115b and are secured by nuts. The end of the individual rod of the rod device 115 engages in one holder 2 115b and is secured by a nut. A threaded rod 3 115b engages in the other holder 2 115b, which carries a nut 4 115b at the end protruding from the holder 2 115b and is firmly connected at its other end to the chain. The adjustment in the longitudinal tensioning device 115b is carried out by turning the nut 4 115b.
The longitudinal tensioning device 215b in FIG. 7 has a corresponding threaded rod 3 215b which engages in a holder 2 215b in a corresponding manner and carries an adjusting nut 4 215b. The threaded rods 1 215 of the rod device 215b engage in the holder 2 215b and are secured by nuts. The length tensioning device 215 is adjusted by turning the nut 4 215b.
