Gegenstand der Erfindung ist ein Flaschenkühler mit einem aus Bodenstück und daran lösbar fixiertem zylindrischen Mantel bestehenden Behälter, in welchem ein Kühlelementring angeordnet ist, der einen Flaschenaufnahmeraum begrenzt. Bekannte Flaschenkühler dieser Bauart haben den Nachteil, dass der einen vorbestimmten Durchmesser aufweisende Flaschenaufnahmeraum den unterschiedlichen Flaschengrössen nicht angepasst werden kann; da die Kühlwirkung nur dann optimal ist, wenn der Kühleiementring am Flaschenkörper anliegt, ist ein solcher Flaschenkühler nur für eine einzige Flaschengrösse ideal. Dieser Nachteil wird beim Flaschenkühler gemäss der Erfindung dadurch vermieden, dass der Kühlelementring aus einer Mehrzahl von Kühlringsegmenten gebildet ist, die je von einem federnd begrenzt radial auswärts nachgiebigen, am Bodenstück des Behälters verschiebefest fixierten Träger gehalten sind. Zweckmässig besteht jeder Träger aus einer das Kühlringsegment tragenden Stütze und einem einerends am Bodenstück und ander-nends an der Stütze angreifenden Federelement. Dieses Federelement besitzt zweckmässig U-Form, wobei dessen Steg am Mittelteil der über dem Bodenstück nach oben ragenden Stütze befestigt ist, während die beiden nach unten ragenden Federschenkel in Halteschlitze im Bodenstück eingreifen. Bei einer bevorzugten Ausführungsform führen die Federschenkel spitzwinklig von der am Rücken des Kühlringsegmentes anliegenden Stütze weg nach unten, derart, dass bei entspannten Federelementen der Kühlelementring einen sich nach oben erweiternden Konusraum umschliesst. Dies erleichtert ganz wesentlich das Einführen der zu kühlenden Flasche in den Flaschenaufnahmeraum. Sobald die Flasche auf den verengten unteren Teil des Kühlelementrings trifft, werden die Stützen und damit die Kühlringsegmente in eine achsparallele, an der Flasche anliegende Lage gedrückt. Um zu gewährleisten, dass die Kühlringsegmente an Flaschen relativ stark unterschiedlicher Grösse einwandfrei anliegen, ist die Anordnung so getroffen, dass beim Einführen der kleinstmöglichen Flasche nur die Stege der Federelemente gegenüber den Schenkeln der letzteren zwecks Aufhebung der Konizität des Kühlelementrings elastisch deformiert werden, während beim Einführen grösserer bzw. der grösstmög-lichen Flasche zusätzlich auch die Federschenkel selbst gegenüber ihren im Bodenstück fixierten Enden federnd radial auswärts (maximal bis zum Anliegen am Aussenmantel) gebogen werden. Wird nämlich diese kleinste Flasche in den Aufnahmeraum 4 eingeführt, so verschwenkt sie die Kühlringsegmente in ihre achsparallele Lage, wobei der Kühlsegmentring zum Anliegen am Flaschenkörper gebracht wird. Wird eine etwas grössere Flasche eingeführt, werden zusätzlich die Federschenkel 7b radial nach aussen gebogen, während die Kühlringsegmente 3 auch hier am Flaschenkörper anliegen. Wie aus Fig. 1 rechts leicht ersichtlich, können die Federschenkel 7b bis nahe an die Innenwand des Gehäusemantels 2 gedrückt werden, wodurch der grösstmögliche Durchmesser der sich zum Kühlen in diesem Flaschenkühler geeigneten Flasche festgelegt ist. Damit ist ein Flaschenkühler geschaffen, der sich zum einwandfreien Kühlen von Flaschen unterschiedlichen Durchmessers eignet. Der bei entspannten Federelementen 7 dank der Schrägstellung der Kühlringsegmente 3 relativ grosse Einführdurchmesser des Aufnahmeraums 4 erleichtert ganz erheblich auch das Einführen der grösseren zu kühlenden Flaschen, wonach sich die Kühlringsegmente zwangsläufig in ihre dicht am Flaschenkörper anliegende, achsparallele Lage verschwenken.
