Abstract

Synthetic foils are rendered iridescent by polishing at least one side with a powder and then coating the treated surface with a lacquer. Pref. the polishing powder is Bi oxychloride. The lacquer contains nitrocellulose, butanol, butyl acetate and ethyl glycol, and is used as a soln. A coloured lacquer may be used to give a coloured iridescent effect. USE - The foils are esp. colourless and/or black PVC films. The iridescent effect may be coloured.

 1. Erneuerung: 
 



  Es ist gelungen, Kunststoffolien, insbesondere farblose und/oder schwarze PVC-Folien zum Irisieren zu bringen. 



  Zusätzlich ist es gelungen, diesen Irisierungseffekt farblich zu machen. 


 2. Arbeitsablauf: 
 

 a) Irisierung: 
 



  Die Irisierung wird durch zwei wichtige - neben anderen - Arbeitsgänge erreicht, und zwar:
 Oberflächenbehandlung der Folie mit einem bestimmten Pulver,
 Oberflächenbehandlung der Folie mit einem bestimmten Lack. 



  Zur Zubereitung des Lacks sind bestimmte Ausgangsstoffe notwendig, und zwar:
 
 Nitrozellulose, auch E-Wolle genannt,
 Butanol
 Butylacetat
 Äthylglykol
 



  Mit diesen Ausgangsstoffen wird ein Ansatz gewonnen, der in Lösung überführt wird und sodann zu Lack weiterverarbeitet ist. Mit diesem Lack wird sodann die Oberfläche der Folie bearbeitet. 



   Der eigentliche Irisierungseffekt wird nun aber dadurch erreicht, dass die Folie vor der Lackbearbeitung/-beschichtung mit wenigstens einem Pulver, z.B.  mit pulvrigem Wismutoxychlorid, poliert wird und erst dann die Lackbeschichtung erfolgt. Durch Veränderung des Lack-Anmischverhältnisses kann das Erscheinungsbild der Irisierung verändert werden. 

 b) Farbgebung: 
 



  Der Irisierungseffekt kann auch farblich gemacht werden. Dazu ist es notwendig, die farblose Folie mit eingefärbtem Lack zu bearbeiten. Der Lack muss vor dem Auftragen auf die Folie mit Farbe behandelt werden. Die Farbe muss in einem gewissen Quantitätsverhältnis beigegeben werden - je nach gewünschter Farbe in verschiedenen Mengen gemäss eigener separater Rezeptur -, so dass nach der Behandlung der Folie mit dem eingefärbten Lack eine irisierende und durchscheinende Farbfolie entsteht.

  With these starting materials, an approach is obtained which is converted into solution and then further processed into lacquer. The surface of the film is then processed with this lacquer.



   The actual iridescent effect is now achieved, however, by the film being treated with at least one powder, e.g. with powdery bismuth oxychloride, is polished and only then is the varnish coated. The appearance of the iridescence can be changed by changing the paint mixing ratio.

 b) Coloring:
 



  The iridescent effect can also be made in color. For this it is necessary to process the colorless film with colored lacquer. The varnish must be treated with paint before it is applied to the film. The color must be added in a certain quantity ratio - depending on the desired color in different quantities according to our own separate recipe - so that after the treatment of the film with the colored lacquer an iridescent and translucent color film is created.

Verfahren zum Irisieren von Kunststoffolien, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass man wenigstens eine Seite einer Kunststoffolie mit wenigstens einem Pulver poliert und anschliessend die so behandelte Oberfläche mit einem Lack beschichtet.       1. Verfahren nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Kunststoffolie farblose und/oder schwarze Polyvinylchlorid-Folien sind. 3. Verfahren nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Lack Nitrozellulose Butanol Butylacetat Äthylglykol enthält. 4. Verfahren nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Lack in Form einer Lösung angewendet wird. 5.
