Abstract

The combined watch and penknife has a wrist bracelet or strap (4) with an attached housing (3) which incorporates a watch (2) and a penknife (1). Pref. the watch (2) and the penknife (1) are contained within adjacent recesses provided by the housing (3) which is pref. made of an injection moulded plastics. The watch (2) may be removable, or permanently secured in its recess, the penknife (1) being removable for use. The outer side edge (3a) of the penknife locating recess may be hinged to allow it to pivot outwards for removal and replacement of the penknife (1). ADVANTAGE - Compact combined watch and penknife.

  Während der moderne Mensch stets eine Taschen- oder Armbanduhr auf sich trägt, wird häufig das Mitnehmen eines Taschenmessers vergessen. Die Erfindung bezweckt diesem Umstand zu begegnen und ein Taschenmesser so mit einer Uhr zu kombinieren, dass mit der Uhr automatisch auch das Taschenmesser mitgenommen wird. 



  Die wesentlichen Merkmale der Erfindung ergeben sich aus dem Patentanspruch. 



  Ein Ausführungsbeispiel der Erfindung wird anhand der Zeichnung erläutert. In dieser zeigen: 
 
   Fig. 1 eine Draufsicht auf die Kombination mit separat dargestelltem Messer, 
   Fig. 2 einen Schnitt durch die Anordnung nach der Linie A-A von Fig. 1. 
 



   Im dargestellten Beispiel ist die Anordnung mit einem Armband 4 zum Tragen am Handgelenk versehen. Die Uhr 2 und das Taschenmesser 1 sind in entsprechend geformten Ausnehmungen des Tragelements 3 untergebracht. Das Tragelement ist ein vorzugsweise aus Kunststoff bestehendes Spritzgussteil, in welchem die Uhr fest oder lösbar eingesetzt ist. Das Taschenmesser 1 wird vorzugsweise von einer offenen Schmalseite her eingeschoben und in seiner Lage durch irgendwelche Fixierelemente, z.B. federnde Nocken, gehalten. Es wäre auch denkbar, die linke, äussere Seitenwand 3a um ein Gelenk ausschwenkbar zu machen um das Einlegen und Herausnehmen des Messers 1 zu ermöglichen. Statt des Armbandes könnten auch andere Elemente vorgesehen sein, die es ermöglichen, die Anordnung mit einer Kette oder dergl. in der Tasche versorgt oder als Anhänger zu tragen. 



  
 



  While modern people always carry a pocket or wrist watch, they often forget to take a pocket knife with them. The invention aims to counter this circumstance and to combine a pocket knife with a watch in such a way that the pocket knife is automatically taken along with the watch.

   In the example shown, the arrangement is provided with a bracelet 4 for wearing on the wrist. The clock 2 and the pocket knife 1 are accommodated in correspondingly shaped recesses in the support element 3. The support element is an injection molded part, preferably made of plastic, in which the watch is inserted fixedly or releasably. The pocket knife 1 is preferably inserted from an open narrow side and in its position by any fixing elements, e.g. springy cams held. It would also be conceivable to make the left, outer side wall 3a pivotable about a joint in order to enable the knife 1 to be inserted and removed. Instead of the bracelet, other elements could also be provided which make it possible to supply the arrangement with a chain or the like in the pocket or to wear it as a pendant.
