Fig. 1 eine Aufsicht auf eine Tragvorrichtung,
The invention relates to a support device for storing food, which support device has a frame and a support member held therein made of a slack material.
Such support devices are subject to high demands with regard to hygiene and the possibility of cleaning. Furthermore, even after prolonged use, such carrying devices should not have any adverse effects on the nature or quality of the foodstuffs stored thereon, which effects are, for example, tainted spots, which in the best case leads to goods of second quality. Furthermore, the support devices are required not to produce any traces on the foodstuffs stored on them due to deformations in the support surfaces.
Such a support device has become known, the support member of which is a perforated steel sheet which contains a plastic coating and is connected to a self-contained steel tire. Here, however, there is a possibility that the plastic cover will be damaged and detached in places. This can form rust spots. Furthermore, it is very difficult to clean this carrying device properly.
The aim of the invention is to remedy the disadvantages mentioned.
The carrying device according to the invention is characterized by the features of patent claim 1 and the method for producing the same by those of patent claim 9.
The subject matter of the invention is explained in more detail below with reference to the drawings, for example. It shows:
1 is a plan view of a support device,
2 and 3 the arrangement of a spacer, the frame being drawn partly in a view and partly in section,
Fig. 4-6 each have a section along the line A-A of Fig. 1 different versions, and
7 and 8 are views similar to that of FIG. 1 on differently shaped support devices.
The support device initially has a support member 2. This support member is in this form in the form of a mesh. It preferably consists of a polyester fabric and this embodiment is described here. Accordingly, the support member is a limp structure without any significant stiffness. The edge of this polyester fabric is connected to a plastic bar 7, 7 min (Fig. 4-6), which bar consists of two ring pieces, one of which 7 on one side and the other 7 min on the other side of the polyester fabric is welded on. In this embodiment, the bar 7, 7 min consists of a plastic. This circumferential strip 7, 7 min is interrupted at at least one point along the circumferential edge of the support member 2, so that the edge of the actual polyester fabric is exposed a few centimeters at the respective point.
The frame of the support device is formed by a hollow profile ring cut open at at least one point. In the raw state, that is to say without the polyester fabric used, there is only a cut through of the ring 1, without the ends 4, 4 formed therewith being at a significant distance from one another.
The ring 1 is a hollow profile, several possible cross sections of the same being shown in FIGS. 4-6. It is essential that this ring 1 is provided with a circumferential inner circumferential slot 8. It can be seen that the support member 2 or the polyester fabric extends through this inner circumferential slot 8 into the interior 6 of the hollow profile-shaped ring 1 and is welded there to the circumferential strip 7, 7 min. This circumferential bar 7, 7 min runs along the inner circumferential slot 8 and lies against the inner wall of the hollow profile. The surface section of the circumferential ledge 7,7 min, which bears against the inner wall of the ring 1, is designed such that a sealing contact is formed.
In addition, in this embodiment the inner circumferential strip 7, 7 min is provided with a projection 9 which runs along its inner circumference and protrudes into the slot 8 of the hollow profile-shaped ring 1. However, this projection 9 is not necessarily present in all of the designs provided. The thickness of a respective projection 9 is dimensioned relative to the width of the slot 8 in such a way that there is also sealing contact here. So that no contamination can penetrate into the interior 6 of the hollow-profile-shaped ring 1 at the location of the inner circumferential slot 8.
The assembly of the carrying device proceeds as follows. An embodiment is assumed in which the support device is circular in the top view and only one interface is present in the ring 1 in the form of a hollow profile.
For the time being, the two rings 7, 7 min, which form the peripheral strip, are welded to the edge of the polyester fabric, that is to say the actual support member 2. As already mentioned, this circumferential bar has a break of several centimeters at one point. The ring 1 formed, for example, from Cr steel contains an interface. The two ends 4 and 4 min of the ring 1 thus present here are now pushed away from each other by a short distance and also vertically displaced with respect to the ring plane, whereupon the peripheral bar 7, 7 min, since this also forms a cut ring, from one end pushed here into the ring 1.
Due to the empty space also present in the peripheral strip, in which the flaccid polyester fabric can be easily deformed, the two ends of the peripheral strip there can easily be moved in the vertical direction, so that the "threading" of the peripheral strip 7, 7 min into the Ring 1 can go off easily. Thus, the peripheral strip 7, 7 min lies more or less loosely in the interior 6 of the ring 1, the polyester fabric, that is to say the support member 2, running from the interior 6 of the ring 1 through the inner peripheral slot 8. The peripheral bar 7, 7 min is advantageously aligned relative to the ring in such a way that the interrupted locations of these two components are not aligned with one another.
Now the two ends 4, 4 min of the ring 1 are tensioned from one another, for example on a special apparatus. The ring 1 is thus expanded. As a result of this widening, the circumferential strip 7, 7 min is also widened and thus the support member 2, that is to say the polyester fabric, is stretched. The peripheral strip is pressed firmly against the inner wall of the ring 1, the projections 9 being arranged in the inner peripheral slot 8. This results in an absolute seal of the interior 6 of the ring 1 from the environment.
Attention is now drawn in particular to FIGS. 2 and 3. By tensioning the two ends 4, 4 min of the ring 1 apart, a gap is created between them, which can be several centimeters long. In this gap, a spacer 3, e.g. inserted in the form of a plate and welded to the ends 4, 4 min of the ring 1 on both sides. The polyester fabric is now permanently held in the stretched state. In the gap containing the spacer 3 between the two ends 4, 4 min, a casting compound is introduced there, which completely fills the end regions of the ring 1 and thus also seals the interior 6 of the ring 1 from the environment here. The casting compound is arranged in such a way that it also surrounds the spacer 3 and is flush with the ring 1 with respect to its surface.
The holes 11 and 12 in the spacer 3 designated in FIG. 2 serve as through-flow openings for the introduced casting compound.
FIGS. 4-6 show different cross-sectional shapes of the ring 1, these merely representing exemplary embodiments. The ring 1 according to the embodiment according to FIG. 4 has a circular cross-sectional shape. 5, the inner circumferential wall of the ring 1 has a semicircular cross-sectional shape and the outer circumferential wall thereof runs vertically to the ring plane.
The embodiment according to FIG. 6 is characterized in particular by the fact that the fabric runs at the upper end section of the ring 1. The peripheral strips 7, 7 min are arranged at an oblique angle in the interior 6. Obviously, the different designs of the carrying device can be dependent on e.g. the dimensions of the foodstuffs to be stored thereon and also, for example, the available storage racks or storage conditions.
In the above examples, training forms were described in which the ring 1 is annular and has only one interface. However, the most varied of circumferential shapes are possible. FIG. 7 shows an embodiment with an elliptical ring 1. In order to facilitate the insertion of the peripheral strip of the polyester fabric of the supporting member, this ring 1 is designed with two interfaces, which are indicated in FIG. 7 by the presence of the respective sealing compound 10 . So there are two ring sections that ultimately add up to a ring 1. The peripheral bar 7, 7 min can have one or two interrupted points from which it is inserted into the respective ring section (or the ring sections are pushed over the peripheral bar).
Since on the one hand the diameter of the hollow profile ring 1 seen in the ring plane is larger than the width of the circumferential bar and on the other hand both members are elastically flexible, the insertion of the circumferential bar into the ring 1 can be accomplished, although these two curved components are not in every position during the Insertion are congruent. Two procedures are conceivable for tensioning the ring 1. On the one hand, the two ring sections can be pulled apart from one another on a corresponding machine when the peripheral strip is inserted, and on the other hand the ring 1 could already be connected at one interface by a spacer and only the two remaining ends at the opposite interface could then be clamped apart.
In the embodiment according to FIG. 8, four straight ring sections are assumed which complement each other to form a rectangular configuration of the support device. When assembling, the individual ring sections can be pushed individually over the circumferential bar, which again has interruptions at the corresponding points, and the clamping can then be carried out.
In general, the drawings have the following advantages. The support element made of polyester fabric has a very high tensile strength (up to 50,000 N / cm <2>) and, due to the selected material, very good acid resistance. Furthermore, due to the design chosen, cleaning using a high-pressure cleaner is very easy. Since there is a mesh, there is also an optimal air supply from below to the food stored on it.
The designs of the carrying device shown are particularly advantageous for storing cheese. The meshwork results in better scarring of the side of the cheese wheel exposed to the support pressure surfaces. Since the fabric obviously can bend regularly when the load is picked up, the cheese wheel does not have to be turned as often during its storage period, which means a considerable saving in working time. The above-mentioned improved air supply from below also contributes to this because there is less fear of graying on the cheese wheel side lying on top, so that a saving in working time can also be achieved here because the cheese wheel has to be turned less often.
The support surface, which is a polyester fabric, is obviously completely rust-free and there is no longer any risk of second-quality cheese, which can be caused by rust stains. In contrast to designs in which the support or the support member 2 is a perforated plate, there is no visible support structure on the cheese wheel in the polyester fabric. In addition to the effortless cleaning of the designs shown, these have the advantage that they can be cleaned perfectly bacteriologically, since there are no cracks, that there are no places through which contaminants can also enter and settle during cleaning.
