The clip (1, 2) has two grooves of U-shaped cross-section with the open part of one groove facing in the opposite direction to the open part of the other groove. The axes of the grooves are so aligned that they do not lie in a common plane. One crutch (3) of a pair is fitted into one groove, whilst the other one (4) is fitted into the other groove. ADVANTAGE - Easy handling.
Description
Fig. 1 den Halter in schaubildlicher Darstellung, und
The invention relates to a holder for holding two sticks together, with two fastening elements which are each intended to be fastened to a stick, the bearing point of each fastening element intended for each stick defining the direction of a holding axis.
Such a holder for holding ski poles together is already known, the two ski poles being held parallel to one another. The holder is used to hold the two ski poles together so that they can be carried more easily. The holder to be trained according to the invention serves a different purpose. It is for the user of disabled walking sticks, e.g. Crutches, always a problem to be able to park the two sticks in the desired way if the disabled person has to have both hands free for other activities. The two sticks usually fall apart, making it difficult for the disabled to reuse them. It is now the purpose of creating a holder with which the two sticks can be safely parked when not in use.
It is based on the generally known finding that a tripod is always stable.
The design of the holder according to the invention is characterized in that the holding axes of at least two bearing points of the two fastening elements are inclined to one another and are not in a common plane.
By means of this holder, the two sticks are now held together and in a spread position, so that, together with any leaning point for these two sticks, the aforementioned stable tripod is created.
In the drawing, an embodiment of the subject of the invention is shown. Show it:
Fig. 1 the holder in a diagrammatic representation, and
Fig. 2 shows the holder shown in Fig. 1 in the assembled state on two crutches.
The illustrated embodiment is a simple, inexpensive embodiment. The holder shown in Fig. 1 has two fastening elements 1 and 2. These have the same shape, but can be made of different materials, e.g. two different plastics. The two fastening members 1, 2 are thus present as individual parts which are fastened to one another in a manner not shown, lying back to back. This two-part production requires a simpler tool for manufacturing (injection molding process) than a possible one-piece design of the entire holder according to FIG. 1.
The two fastening elements 1 and 2 are each intended to be fastened to a stick 3 and 4, as can be seen from FIG. In the example shown, the holder according to FIG. 1 thus serves to hold together the two sticks 3 and 4 designed as crutches. The fastening member 1 is designed as a stick clamp with a U-shaped clamp mouth 5. This stick clamp 1 also has a second U-shaped clamp jaw 6, which is at right angles to the clamp jaw 5. The same also applies to the fastening element 2, which in turn is designed as a stick clamp and has the two U-shaped clamp jaws 7 and 8 lying at right angles to one another. When using the clip shown in FIG. 1 according to FIG. 2, the fastening member 1 sits with its clip jaw 5 on the stick 3, and the fastening member 2 sits with its clip jaw 7 on the stick 4.
This means that the clear width intended for clamping these two jaws 5 and 7 is adapted to the diameter of the sticks 3 and 4 so that the holder 1, 2 is clamped to the sticks 3 and 4. As can be seen from FIG. 2, the two sticks 3 and 4 are spread apart in this position according to FIG. 2, that is to say not parallel to one another. To achieve this, the two fastening elements 1 and 2 according to FIG. 1 are offset from one another in the following manner. The fastening member 1 has the clamp jaw 5 which serves as a bearing for the stick 3. This clamp jaw 5 thus defines the direction of a holding axis 9 in which the stick 3 lies when the holder is mounted on the sticks.
In the same way, the bearing mouth 7 of the fastening member 2 forms the bearing point for the stick 4, so that the holding axis 10 of this clamp jaw 7 determines the direction of the stick 4. According to Figure 1, the two holding axes 9 and 10 are parallel to each other. In addition, the two holding axes 9 and 10 are also offset at an angle to one another, since the two jaws 5 and 7 are also offset from one another. It can thus be said that the two bearing points 5 and 7 of the two fastening elements 1 and 2 are inclined at an angle to one another and are not in a common plane. This results in the aforementioned spread position of the two poles 3 and 4 shown in FIG. 2.
The other clamp jaw 6 of the fastening member 1, which is at right angles to the clamp jaw 5, and the other clamp jaw 8 of the fastening member 2, which is at right angles to the clamp jaw 7, are present in order to hold two sticks with a different diameter in the same position to one another in FIG. 2. In practice, the two clamp jaws 5 and 7 will therefore have essentially the same inside width intended for clamping.
Likewise, the other two clamp jaws 6 and 8 then have essentially the same inside width intended for clamping. "Essentially" was said because in practice one can proceed in such a way that, for example, the fastening element 1 can be clamped somewhat more firmly on the stick 3 than the fastening element 2 on the stick 4, so that when the two sticks 3 and 4 are pulled apart, only the stick 4 is pulled out of the fastening member 2, but the holder 1, 2 remains clamped on the stick 3. In this way, the holder 1, 2 is always attached to the stick 3 when using the sticks. As mentioned, this can be achieved by different clear widths of the two clamp jaws used in each case, but also by the choice of different materials for the two fastening elements 1 and 2.
In the exemplary embodiment shown, both fastening members 1 and 2 are designed as stick clamps, the U-shaped clamp jaws 5, 6 and 7, 8 of both stick clamps 1 and 2 facing away from one another.
The sticks 3 and 4 which are spread apart according to FIG. 2 can now be leaned against any wall, so that the sticks 3, 4 together with this wall form a stable tripod. This effectively prevents the two sticks 3 and 4 from falling over. In practice, an offset of the two holding axes 9 and 10 by 20 ° to one another has proven itself, so that the two poles 3 and 4 are then also spread apart by this 20 °. However, deviations from these 20 degrees can also be made, in a simple manner e.g. when the two fastening elements 1 and 2 are present as individual parts which are fastened to one another. The position of the two fastening elements 1 and 2 relative to one another can also be variably adjustable. This can be done in different ways.
A rigid attachment of both parts 1 and 2 to one another is conceivable, but in a variable adjustment relative to one another. However, a spring-loaded snap closure between the two fastening elements 1 and 2 is also conceivable, so that one fastening element has a latching projection and the other fastening element has a latching gap, which e.g. a disc spring can be brought out of engagement with each other, for adjusting both fastening members 1 and 2 to each other.
In another embodiment, not shown, e.g. the fastening member 1 can be designed as a pipe clamp which is permanently attached to the stick 3, so that then only the fastening member 2 is designed as a stick clamp.
