Der Schlosskasten (1) ist am Stulp (2) befestigt. Eine übliche Schlossnuss (3) mit Rückstellfeder (4), ein Riegel (5), eine Zuhaltung (6) und eine Deckplatte (8) bilden die wesentlichen Teile des Türschlosses. Die Drehachse (7) ist am Schlosskasten (1) befestigt. Die Zuhaltung (6) hat einen nach oben abgebogenen Lappen (9). Wird der Riegel (5) mit dem Schlüssel oder Schliesszylinder (10) in die in Fig. 1 gezeichnete Lage gebracht, dann greift der Lappen (9) der Zuhaltung (6) in eine Einkerbung (11) des Riegels (5) ein. Wird nun der Riegel (5) gewaltsam in Pfeilrichtung (12) belastet, dann stützt sich der Riegel (5) über den Lappen (9) der Zuhaltung (6) an der Drehachse (7) und damit am Schlossgehäuse (1) ab. Wird nun die Belastung in Pfeilrichtung (12) weiter gesteigert, so wird sich der Lappen (9) verbiegen, und der Riegel (5) kann in den Schlosskasten (1) zurückgedrückt werden.
