Fig. 1 in Seitenansicht das Prinzip der Bauteilzuordnung der Nebenluftzufuhreinrichtung zur Abgassammelkammer;
Fig. 2 perspektivisch die bevorzugte Ausführungsform der Abgassammelkammer;
Fig. 3 die Form eines besonderen Blechzuschnittes für die Ausbildung der Abgassammelkammer;
Fig. 4 in Draufsicht der aus dem Zuschnitt gemäss Fig. 3, 4 zuzuordnenden Rauchgasabzugsstutzen;

The invention relates to an exhaust gas collection chamber for a heating boiler according to the preamble of claim 1.
If flue gas collection chambers are not integrated directly into the housing of heating boilers, it is known to arrange flue gas collecting chambers under them or under the water-carrying boiler housing, depending on the boiler design, on the back of the heating boiler or in the case of downward heating gas flues. It is also known for the purpose of draft regulation and chimney ventilation to arrange so-called secondary air supply devices behind the flue gas outlet in the draft connection pipe to the chimney, which is particularly suitable for heating boilers operated in the so-called low-temperature range. These secondary air supply devices are devices to be manufactured and purchased separately from the heating boiler, which means that their acquisition and installation, especially since this involves additional costs, is often disregarded.
The invention is accordingly based on the object of improving and further developing the exhaust gas collection chamber for a heating boiler, in particular one which is operated in the low temperature range, in such a way that the secondary air supply device necessarily belongs to the heating boiler and can be delivered with it.
This object is achieved with an exhaust gas collection chamber of the type mentioned at the outset for a heating boiler according to the invention by the features stated in the characterizing part of patent claim 1. Advantageous further developments and practical embodiments result from the dependent claims 2 to 5.
In contrast to the previous installation of such secondary air supply devices, specifically in the flow of the exhaust pipe extending from the exhaust gas connection piece to the chimney connection, according to the solution according to the invention the flue gas discharge piece of the housing forming the exhaust gas collection chamber is used for the arrangement of the auxiliary air supply devices, which thus form an integral part of the Exhaust gas collection chamber itself is, without this being intended to rule out the possibility of assigning this part of the exhaust gas collection chamber to it, if appropriate, also by plugging or flange-mounting.
In view of a favorable assignment of the component of the exhaust gas collection chamber forming the secondary air supply device, it is advantageous to expand it beyond the mass otherwise customary with regard to the hot gas flue connection in order to be able to attach the secondary air supply device there as an additional component.
By including the secondary air supply device in the exhaust gas collection chamber, there is also the advantageous possibility of at least partially incorporating the necessary housing design for the secondary air supply device into the sheet metal blanks for the formation of the housing forming the exhaust gas collection chamber, for example in such a way that the front wall of the smoke gas collection chamber is one with one Auxiliary air flap housing is provided with a foldable cut-out extension which contains the actual flap-equipped secondary air opening, and that the flue gas discharge connection piece, which has an opening corresponding to the opening cross section of the secondary air flap housing, is arranged on the flue gas collection chamber on the open side of the secondary air flap housing.
If the flue gas outlet connection is simply placed and welded in alignment with a corresponding overflow opening on the extended part of the housing forming the flue gas collection chamber, this or the flue gas connection is designed in such a way that the flue gas outlet connection arranged on the housing in alignment with its overflow opening has cranked side wall flags on both sides along the side air opening With a cover plate bent at the end edges and containing the actual flap-equipped secondary air opening, form the secondary air flap housing.
The exhaust gas collection chamber according to the invention is explained in more detail below with the aid of exemplary embodiments.
It shows schematically
1 shows a side view of the principle of the component assignment of the secondary air supply device to the exhaust gas collection chamber;
2 shows in perspective the preferred embodiment of the exhaust gas collection chamber;
Figure 3 shows the shape of a special sheet metal blank for the formation of the exhaust gas collection chamber.
FIG. 4 shows a top view of the flue gas outlet connection piece to be assigned from the blank according to FIGS. 3, 4;
5 is a perspective view of the flue gas discharge nozzle to be assigned to the exhaust gas collection chamber according to FIGS. 3, 4 and
6 is a perspective view of the flue gas collecting chamber formed from the parts according to FIGS. 3 and 5.
As can be seen from the basic illustration in accordance with FIG. 1, the flue gas collection chamber consists of a housing 1, into which the heating gas flues of the heating boiler open and which is provided with a flue gas discharge nozzle 2. Normally, the housing has dimensions, as indicated by dash-dotted lines, with the flue gas discharge pipe 2 also going off to one side or the other, also using dash-dotted lines. In order to be able to directly combine the secondary air supply device 5 with the flue gas collection chamber in this case, the housing 1 forming the flue gas collection chamber is provided with a corresponding extension 1 min, over the overflow opening 4 of which the flue gas discharge connection piece 2 is arranged in alignment.
This flue gas discharge nozzle 2 is formed between the overflow opening 4 and the actual discharge opening 3 in the form of a secondary air supply device 5 with a freely oscillating secondary air flap 7 which can be loosely coupled to an actuator 6, which requires no further explanation either with regard to the special construction or the function to be achieved thereby Such Nebenluftein directions, as I said, are well known and in use. In particular in the case of heating boilers with the construction shown, i.e., vertically oriented heating gas flues 16 with a combustion chamber part 17 arranged transversely above them, the flue gas discharge nozzle 2 designed as secondary air supply device 5 is arranged vertically oriented on the housing 1.
According to FIG. 2, which embodiment is preferred, the flue gas outlet 2, which is welded to the housing 1 in alignment with its overflow opening 4, has cranked side wall flags 9 on both sides along the secondary air opening 8, which has a cranked side air opening 8 and containing the actual flap-equipped secondary air opening 8 min Cover plate 11 form the secondary air flap housing 12, in which the secondary air flap 7 is arranged in the sense of FIG. 1.
3 to 6, a largely total integration of the secondary air supply device 5 into the housing 1 is also possible, namely in such a way that the front wall 13 of the housing 1 is provided with a cutting extension 14 (FIG. 3) which can be folded into a secondary air flap housing 12, which contains the actual flap-equipped secondary air opening for 8 min. On the open side of the secondary air flap housing 12 formed from the front wall blank (see FIG. 6), which thus extends to a certain extent tangentially next to the overflow opening 4 of the housing 1, there is an opening 15 corresponding to the opening cross section of the secondary air flap housing 12 (see FIG. 5) provided flue gas outlet 2 on the housing 1.
