Description

    la Fig. 1 est une vue en élévation latérale de la moufle;

  The invention starts from the observation that by practicing his favorite sport, the skier equipped with traditional means and devices is often exposed unconsciously to the risk of losing his gloves or mittens. Indeed, these accessories of the skier's equipment generally comprise at the present time an outer envelope provided with a layer of material which constitutes thermal insulation, but whose volume is relatively large. Therefore, as soon as the skier must perform a manipulation using the agility of his fingers, he must remove his gloves and hang them so that his hands are free. This situation occurs in particular when the skier must present a ticket which he carries on him, or extract from a pocket a credit card, a wallet or a wallet.

  We know that on these occasions, the risk is great that the gloves, generally pinched under an arm of the skier, fall inadvertently.

  The invention stems from the idea of remedying this defect in a simple and effective manner.

  For this purpose, the present invention relates to a muffle according to claim 1.

  An embodiment of the object of the invention is shown schematically and simply by way of example in the appended drawing, in which:

    Fig. 1 is a side elevational view of the muffle;
   Fig. 2 is a view in horizontal section thereof, and
   Fig. 3 a view partially in front elevation and partially in section along the line III-III of FIG. 1.

  The mitt, generally designated by 1 in the drawing, is shaped so that it can be hung on the handle 2 of a ski pole 3 so that the skier has the possibility of withdrawing his hand without the mitt coming off the stick.

  The muffle 1 comprises an outer casing in the form of a sleeve 4, closed at one end and open at the other. This envelope is adapted to the dimensions of the skier's hand. In the vicinity of its closed end, the sleeve 4 is crossed by a tubular element 5, which is located between the thumb and the other fingers of the skier, when the latter introduces his hand into the muffle. This tubular element 5 itself has the form of an inner envelope, which is connected by its two ends to the outer envelope constituting the sleeve 4. At the locations of these connections, the outer envelope has two opposite openings.

  Each of the envelopes 4 and 5 is composed of three superimposed layers, the first of which, 6, is formed from a mountain sack cloth, impregnated, waterproof, colored, the second, 7, of a layer of acrylic wadding, and the third, 8, is a quilted fabric composed of two thin layers of nylon, enclosing cushions of acrylic wadding between them.

  The outer envelope, constituting the sleeve 4, is composed of two rectangular segments 4a and 4b, each bordered by a braid 9 of polyester. This braid 9 is folded over the edges of the three layers and it is sewn along the latter. The two segments 4a and 4b are connected to each other by seams along a short side and the two long sides. However, these seams are interrupted on two short sections along the long sides to form the openings 10 and 11, to which are connected the ends of the tubular element 5, also of rectangular shape, rolled on itself, two edges being fixed one to the other and the two other edges being provided with a braid 12, similar to the braid 9. The edges fixed to each other are themselves furnished with strips 13 of fabrics with filaments and loops of the "Velcro" type. The braids 12 are sewn to the braids 9.

  The tubular element 5 is adjusted, thanks to the "Velcro" bands, to the dimensions of the handle 2 of the stick 3. The muffle can therefore be linked to the stick 3 by engagement of the tubular element 5 on the handle 2.

  The skier can thus freely engage his hand 15 (Fig. 2) in the mitten and grasp the handle of the stick, as with traditional gloves, or withdraw his hand leaving the mitten tied to the stick, which eliminates the risk of loss. inadvertently mentioned at the start. The strap 14 also contributes to the subjection of the muffle.

   In other embodiments, the structure of the muffle may differ from what is shown in the drawing. For example, in a traditional muffle, the tubular element could be housed between the envelope surrounding the thumb and that surrounding the other four fingers. This tubular hooking element could also consist of one of the parts of a "Velcro" strip, which would be fixed for example to the thumb of the muffle and would hang on the other part of the fixed "Velcro" strip. , it, to the envelope of the fingers of the mitt.

  Any other tubular element, associated with a glove or a mitt, fitting on a handle, can fulfill the object of the invention.

  The invention is obviously not limited to a skier's mitten. The same mitt could, in fact, also be suitable for other athletes, for example followers of the snow scooter or ski-bob.
