Le corps p fait en bois, ou en .métal, par exemple, est plan, présente une épaisseur re lativement faible et a la forme générale d'un coeur. Dans sa tranche est ménagée une ,gorge q ayant une section transversale en V ar rondi.
Pour le montage de la forme d'exécution représentée, on .dispose -la garniture a autour ,du corps<I>p</I> de manière que sa bande<I>k</I> soit du côté de la .gorge q, on tire fortement sur les bouts du cordon o qui pénètre dans la gorge q avec la bande, on les fait passer dans les anneaux r, enfin on les noue l'un à l'autre. La forme et les dimensions -du corps p peuvent aussi varier.
La gorge q, au lieu -de se trouver à mi- épaisseur du corps p, peut être ménagée plus près de l'une ,des grandes faces de oelui-ci que de l'autre.
Les anneaux r peuvent être supprimés; dans ce .cas, les deux bouts -du cordon o sont noués l'un à l'autre directement sur le corps p.
La réunion. amovible -.de la garniture du corps peut avoir lieu d'une manière autre: que celle qui a été décrite, par exemple au moyen_ <B>Je</B> boutons- à pression- dont- l'une des parties est figée à la garniture et -dont l'âutre est assujettie à la tranche lisse du corps p.
