Abstract

Description

The present invention relates to a removable grid for a motor vehicle window and more particularly to a metal grid fixedly mounted on a metal frame, the external shapes of which are provided so as to correspond with play with the internal shapes of the frame of a window. The object of the present invention is to remedy the aforementioned drawbacks and the object is achieved with the principle of removable grilling.

Before leaving his vehicle, the user can lower his window and install the removable screen. Air can thus circulate inside the vehicle through the mesh spaces, which has the advantage of maintaining an acceptable temperature inside the vehicle while ensuring effective anti-theft protection. Another important advantage is the ease of installation. The window being lowered, the user presents the removable screen by inserting the rib of the upper profiled element in the window groove of the window frame. Once the screen thus installed in the window frame, the user raises the glass a few mm so that it enters the groove formed in the lower profiled element of the screen frame, so as to block the removable screen. The use of the glass as a blocking device has the advantage of great simplicity of use and construction.

Referring firstly to Figures 1 and 3, a metal mesh 1 is fixedly mounted, for example by welding, on a frame 13 comprising in particular an upper profiled element 2 and a lower profiled element 3. The frame 13 of the removable mesh is intended to be installed inside the vehicle window frame 14. The upper profiled element 2 of the frame 13 comprises a rib 4 intended to collaborate in the service position with the window groove 10 formed in the upper element 7 of the window frame.
