BESCHREIBUNG
DESCRIPTION
The invention relates to a device for moving a load according to the preamble of patent claim 1.
To move a load on a base, it is known to create a compressed air film between the base and the load, which makes it possible to move the load with little force. For practical use, a device in the form of a support plate is used, on which the load to be moved is provided. Depending on the type of design, the compressed air required for film formation is fed either in the base or in the support plate, whereby in both cases a compressed air film is generated under the support plate, the force component of which is large enough to lift the support plate and the load from the base . An air gap is thereby formed, through which the compressed air fed in flows off to the edges of the support plate. This process is self-regulating
Process.
The resulting air pressure
If the support plate becomes too large, the support force lifts the support plate, which increases the gap and at the same time reduces the pressure drop to the outside, so that the total support force is reduced until the support force and the support plate are in balance with the load .
Although this application of compressed air is a relatively simple and elegant method of moving loads, it has not been used to a sufficient extent in practical operation. There are several reasons for this. First of all, it is necessary to produce the two opposing boundary surfaces of the base and the support plate very precisely so that the supporting force develops in the entire area of the support plate. Thus, no deformation of the boundary surfaces may occur even when loading the support plate with a load. This means that the base and the support plate are stable, i.e. must be carried out massive, which causes corresponding costs.
Attempts have been made to improve these disadvantages by arranging air cushions in the form of an annular rubber bellows between the base and the support plate, which surround a membrane with compressed air openings, which is to adapt to the unevenness of the base (DE-OS 34 15 810). . However, this device is not very durable and is also an accident hazard if, for example, the air supply is cut off and the support plate falls onto the base. This danger does not occur with the solution with the air film, because the gap is only small, i.e. less than 1 mm, so that an interruption in the air supply can be safely accepted.
The invention is based on the object of designing a device of the type described at the outset in such a way that the disadvantages mentioned can be completely or largely eliminated and thereby an inexpensive but nevertheless reliable solution can be provided.
This object is achieved according to the invention by the characterizing part of patent claim 1.
Furthermore, the second component between the contact plate and a support plate can be provided with a flexible intermediate layer. This intermediate layer ensures that the contact plate can adapt to any deformations of the first component and can serve for the trouble-free maintenance of the air gap.
The invention is shown in the drawing in two exemplary embodiments and described below. Show it:
1 shows a schematically illustrated top view of two components A and B which are separated by an air film and which can be moved relative to one another,
2 shows a section along the line II-II in FIG. 1 in an enlarged view,
3 shows a side view of a device for displacing a load with two components which are displaceable relative to one another and separated by an air film,
Fig. 4 is a plan view of the device of Fig. 3 and
Fig. 5 shows a section along the line V-V in Fig. 4 in an enlarged view.
In FIGS. 1 and 2 and in FIGS. 3 to 5, the part that has the compressed air supply is designated as the first component A and the part that is free of compressed air is referred to as the second component B.
In the device according to FIGS. 1 and 2, the first component A is a base which carries the second component B and can be supported on a foundation (not shown). The first component A and its foundation must therefore bear the weight of the second component B and any loads. The first component A, see FIG. 2, is composed of a support body 1 and a support plate 2. The support plate 2 rests on the support body 1 and is formed as a perforated plate with mouth openings 3. The support body 1 is composed of a base plate 4, edge strips 5 to form a pressure chamber 6 and a nozzle plate 7.
In the nozzle plate 7, feed lines 8 and nozzles 9 are provided, through which the compressed air is supplied to the orifices 3, where it is distributed on the boundary surface 10 formed by the support plate 2 and forms the air gap 11 with the second component B. In the second component B, a contact plate 12 forms the boundary surface 13. An elastically flexible intermediate layer 15 is arranged between the contact plate 12 and a support plate 14. The intermediate layer 15 can be a foam sheet, for example, and has the task of ensuring the parallel position of the two boundary surfaces 10, 13 of the air gap 11 by compensating for deformations of the air gap 11.
The compressed air is introduced from a schematically illustrated pressure source 16 through a feed line 17 in the base plate 4 into the compressed air space 6, from where it flows to the nozzles located in the nozzle plate 7.
The second component, see FIG. 1, is designed as a circular component, the support plate 14, which possibly carries a load 18, the intermediate layer 15 and the contact plate 12 preferably having the same diameter. If the second component B is only used as a rotatable assembly station, the first component A can be square or, if a displacement of the second component B is also provided, can be rectangular. In this case, part of the mouth openings 3 of the support plate 2 is not covered by the second component B. These uncovered orifices form a security in order to avoid an undesirable increase in pressure in the compressed air space 6 when the compressed air gap 11 fails and the contact plate 12 touches the support plate 2.
3 to 5, the first component A has a support plate 22, followed by an elastically flexible intermediate layer 35, a nozzle plate 27, a pressure chamber 26 enclosing strips 25 and a support plate 24, on the latter of which a load 38 is supported can. The first component A is supplied with compressed air from a pressure source via a feed line 37 into the compressed air space 26, from where the compressed air flows through the nozzle plate 27 with the nozzles 29 through passages 30 in the intermediate layer 35 through the orifices 23 of the support plate 22 and the compressed air film forms in the air gap 11.
The first component A is shown in simplified form in FIG. 3 compared to FIG. 5, but the compressed air supply shown schematically in FIG. 5 is shown with all the elements.
The compressed air from the pressure source 36 flows over a compressed air rail and is guided into the feed line 37 by a mobile or stationary compressed air coupling 41.
Since the first component A is displaceable or also rotatable on the second component B, the feed line 37 must be extendable, which is represented by a spring section in the feed line 37.
The second component B is essentially a support 43 that is free of compressed air muzzle and is supported on columns 44. If deviations from the parallel position occur at the boundary surfaces 32, 33, this can be compensated for by the intermediate layer 35.
4 and 5 that the edge portion 45 of the support plate 22 is reset. This creates a lot in which the mouth openings 23 of the support plate 22 are not covered. The uncovered orifices 23 have the same task as the uncovered orifices 3 in the device according to FIGS. 1 and 2.
From Fig. 4 it can be seen that the edge portion 45 can be circular, but can also be designed differently, e.g. segmented. It is only essential that part of the orifices 23 lies in the recessed edge portion 45.
With the two devices described, it is possible to use largely plastic and laminated plates, e.g. Chipboard or the like to use. The support plate 2, 22 can also be a synthetic resin plate.
The elastically flexible intermediate layers 15, 35 ensure that any deformations of the two components A, B are compensated in such a way that the supporting force generated by the compressed air in the air gap 11 is not weakened.
