DESCRIPTION
La présente invention concerne une enveloppe pour l'emballage de produits, notamment de denrées alimentaires telles que par exemple des portions de fromage fondu, cette enveloppe comportant une feuille prédécoupée d'un matériau d'emballage déchirable et un organe d'arrachage comportant une tirette et une bandelette d'arrachage scellée à la feuille de matériau d'emballage, cette bandelette étant constituée par un élément en forme de V découpé d'une pièce dans une bande d'un premier matériau résistant au déchirement, cet élément étant scellé sur toute sa longueur sur la surface intérieure du matériau d'emballage.
Elle concerne également un procédé de fabrication d'une enveloppe pour l'emballage de produits, notamment de denrées alimentaires telles que par exemple des portions de fromage fondu, ce procédé consistant à équiper une feuille prédécoupée d'un matériau d'emballage déchirable d'un organe d'arrachage comportant une tirette et une bandelette d'arrachage scellée à la feuille de matériau d'emballage, cette bandelette étant constituée par un élément en forme de V découpé d'une pièce dans une bande d'un premier matériau résistant au déchirement, et scellé sur toute sa longueur sur la surface intérieure du matériau d'emballage.
L'emballage de certains produits tels que par exemple des portions de fromage fondu, de forme rectangulaire, carrée ou triangulaire, s'effectue habituellement au moyen d'une feuille d'un matériau d'emballage déchirable, tel que de l'aluminium thermoscellable, équipé d'une bandelette d'arrachage scellée sur la surface du matériau d'emballage et pourvue d'une languette libre permettant de saisir la bandelette et d'amorcer le déchirement du matériau.
Une forme de réalisation particulière de la bandelette d'arrachage notamment adaptée aux portions rectangulaires a été décrite dans le brevet suisse N" 617 903. Cette bandelette se compose par exemple de deux éléments en forme de S découpés individuellement, puis partiellement superposés avant d'être thermoscellés sur la surface d'une feuille d'aluminium thermoscellable.
La découpe individuelle de deux formes compliquées dans deux bandes de matériau résistant au déchirement et leur mise en place qui doit être précise peuvent être considérées comme relativement compliquées et délicates. En outre, cette forme ne convient qu'aux portions rectangulaires.
La présente invention se propose de pallier ces inconvénients en réalisant une enveloppe pourvue d'un organe d'arrachage permettant l'ouverture complète de l'enveloppe sur deux de ses côtés, la découpe de cet organe d'arrachage s'effectuant sans chutes, et sa misé en place pouvant être réalisée d'une manière extrêmement simple du fait que la bandelette d'arrachage provient d'une seule bobine et qu'il n'y a pas lieu de superposer deux bandelettes en provenance de deux bobines distinctes.
Dans ce but, I'enveloppe selon l'invention est caractérisée en ce que la tirette est constituée par une languette d'un second matériau résistant au déchirement, cette languette étant partiellement scellée ou collée sur la surface extérieure de la feuille de matériau d'emballage, dans la zone correspondant à la pointe de l'élément en forme de V formant la bandelette d'arrachage.
Dans ce but également, le procédé selon l'invention est caractérisé en ce que l'on utilise une languette d'un second matériau résistant au déchirement, et en ce que l'on scelle ou colle partiellement cette languette sur la surface extérieure de la feuille de matériau d'emballage, dans la zone correspondant à la pointe de l'élément en forme de V.
La présente invention sera mieux comprise en référence à la description d'un exemple de réalisation et du dessin annexé dans lequel:
la figure 1 représente une vue éclatée illustrant un premier mode de réalisation de l'emballage selon l'invention,
la figure 2 représente une vue en perspective du produit emballé dans l'enveloppe correspondant à ce premier mode de réalisation,
la figure 3 représente une vue éclatée illustrant un second mode de réalisation de l'enveloppe selon l'invention, et
la figure 4 est une vue en perspective du produit emballé dans l'enveloppe obtenue selon le mode de réalisation décrit en référence à la figure 3.
En référence aux figures 1 et 2, I'enveloppe - qui, dans ce cas, est destinée à l'emballage d'une portion triangulaire de fromage fondu - comporte une feuille prédécoupée 10 d'un matériau d'emballage déchirable tel que par exemple de l'aluminium dont une des faces est thermoscellable, un organe d'arrachage 1 1 et une étiquette 12 portant des indications graphiques utilisées à des fins publicitaires ou destinées à l'identification du produit.
L'organe d'arrachage 11 est constitué d'un élément 13 en forme de V, découpé d'une pièce dans une bande d'un premier matériau scellable ou non et résistant au déchirement, et qui est scellé sur toute sa longueur sur la face intérieure de la feuille prédécoupée 10, et d'une languette 14 qui est collée ou scellée sur la surface extérieure de là feuille prédécoupée 10 dans une position telle qu'elle recouvre la pointe du V. A cet effet, la languette 14 est scellable ou comporte une plage 15 encollable qui permet d'assurer une liaison efficace avec la feuille prédécoupée 10 de matériau d'emballage déchirable. On notera que la notion de résistance au déchirement est essentiellement subjective. On comprendra que le matériau qui présente une résistance au déchirement a en fait une résistance supérieure à celle du matériau d'emballage.
Selon une forme de réalisation particulière, non obligatoire, la feuille prédécoupée 10 comporte une zone de moindre résistance 16 par exemple en forme de V qui, comme le montre plus particulièrement la figure 2, coincide avec la pointe du V formée par la bandelette d'arrachage 13. Cette zone de moindre résistance est localisée dans la zone 15' qui est la projection sur la feuille 10 de la plage encollée ou thermoscellée 15 ménagée à la face inférieure de la languette 14.
La zone de moindre résistance 16 peut avantageusement être constituée par une découpe ou une entaille, qui permet, dans ce cas, à la languette 14 d'être directement liée, à travers cette ouverture 16, à la bandelette d'arrachage 13.
Au point de vue assemblage des différents composants, on commence par thermosceller la languette d'arrachage 13 sur la face intérieure de la feuille prédécoupée 10, on colle ou on scelle la languette 14 sur la face extérieure de cette feuille, puis on colle l'étiquette 12 également sur cette face extérieure de telle manière que sa pointe triangulaire recouvre l'extrémité postérieure 17 de la languette 14.
L'extrémité antérieure de la languette reste libre et forme une tirette 18 qui permettra par la suite de déchirer la feuille prédécoupée le long des bords extérieurs de la bandelette d'arrachage 13, c'est-àdire, d'une part, le long des arêtes 19 et 20 de la portion triangulaire et, d'autre part, le long des arêtes 21 et 22 de la face arrière arquée de cette portion. En effet, comme le montre la figure 1, les tronçons d'extrémité 23 et 24 de la bandelette d'arrachage 13 sont tout d'abord scellés à plat contre la face intérieure de la feuille prédécoupée 10 puis recourbés en même temps que cette dernière pour adopter des positions 23' et 24' représentées en traits mixtes sur la figure 1.
On notera également que, sur les portions triangulaires ainsi réalisées, les angles 25 et 26 de la tirette 18 peuvent être repliés vers le bas le long des faces latérales verticales de cette portion lors de leur mise en boîte ou avant.
Contrairement aux emballages traditionnels pour lesquels la tirette d'ouverture n'est pas apparente sur la face principale portant l'étiquette, les portions décrites, qu'elles soient groupées en boîtes ou présentées individuellement, ont une tirette bien visible apparaissant sur leur face principale.
Compte tenu de la liaison réalisée entre la languette 14 et la feuille prédécoupée 10 et/ou la bandelette d'arrachage 13, une traction exercée sur la tirette 18 provoque une amorce de déchirure à la pointe du V de la bandelette d'arrachage 13, de telle manière que cette déchirure se propage le long des bords extérieurs des branches de cette bandelette d'arrachage, c'est-à-dire le long des arêtes 19 et 20, puis 21 et 22.
Les figures 3 et 4 illustrent une forme de réalisation très voisine de celle décrite en référence aux figures 1 et 2. C'est pourquoi les éléments identiques ou similaires portent les mêmes numéros de référence dans les deux cas. Ce qui distingue la seconde réalisation de la première est que la languette 14 et l'étiquette 12 sont constituées par un élément unique. En fait, I'étiquette 12' comporte à sa pointe un prolongement 14' dont la fonction est identique à celle de la languette 14. L'enveloppe comporte comme précédemment une feuille prédécoupée 10, une bandelette d'arrachage 13 et l'étiquette 12' avec son prolongement 14' dont l'extrémité antérieure forme une tirette 18'. A part le fait que l'étiquette et la languette sont mises en place simultanément, I'assemblage des différents composants est identique dans les deux cas. L'ouverture de l'enveloppe s'effectue comme précédemment.
La languette indépendante solidaire de l'étiquette peut avoir une forme rectangulaire ou des bords arrondis. Dans le cas de la languette indépendante, la forme rectangulaire est avantageuse parce qu'elle permet une découpe sans chutes dans une bande.
DESCRIPTION

It also relates to a method of manufacturing an envelope for packaging products, in particular foodstuffs such as for example portions of processed cheese, this method consisting in equipping a precut sheet with a tearable packaging material. a tear-off member comprising a pull tab and a tear-off strip sealed with the sheet of packaging material, this strip being constituted by a V-shaped element cut from a piece in a strip of a first material resistant to tear, and sealed over its entire length on the inner surface of the packaging material.
The packaging of certain products such as for example portions of processed cheese, of rectangular, square or triangular shape, is usually carried out by means of a sheet of tearable packaging material, such as heat-sealable aluminum. , equipped with a tear strip sealed on the surface of the packaging material and provided with a free tab allowing to grip the strip and to initiate the tearing of the material.
A particular embodiment of the tear strip, in particular suitable for rectangular portions, has been described in Swiss patent N "617 903. This strip consists for example of two S-shaped elements cut out individually, then partially superimposed before be heat sealed on the surface of a heat sealable aluminum sheet.
The individual cutting of two complicated shapes from two strips of tear-resistant material and their positioning which must be precise can be considered to be relatively complicated and delicate. In addition, this shape is only suitable for rectangular portions.
The present invention proposes to overcome these drawbacks by producing an envelope provided with a tear-off member allowing the complete opening of the envelope on two of its sides, the cutting of this tear-off member being carried out without falls, and its implementation can be achieved in an extremely simple way because the tear strip comes from a single reel and that there is no need to superimpose two strips from two separate reels.
For this purpose, the envelope according to the invention is characterized in that the zipper consists of a tab of a second tear-resistant material, this tab being partially sealed or glued to the outer surface of the sheet of material. packaging, in the area corresponding to the tip of the V-shaped element forming the tear strip.
For this purpose also, the method according to the invention is characterized in that a tongue of a second tear-resistant material is used, and in that this tongue is partially sealed or glued to the outer surface of the sheet of packaging material, in the area corresponding to the tip of the V-shaped element

With reference to FIGS. 1 and 2, the envelope - which, in this case, is intended for packaging a triangular portion of melted cheese - comprises a precut sheet 10 of a tearable packaging material such as for example aluminum, one of the faces of which is heat-sealable, a tear-off member 1 1 and a label 12 bearing graphic indications used for advertising purposes or intended for the identification of the product.
The tearing member 11 consists of a V-shaped element 13, cut in one piece from a strip of a first material which is sealable or not and tear resistant, and which is sealed over its entire length over the inner face of the precut sheet 10, and a tab 14 which is glued or sealed on the outer surface of the precut sheet 10 in a position such that it covers the tip of the V. For this purpose, the tab 14 is sealable or has a bondable pad 15 which makes it possible to ensure an effective connection with the precut sheet 10 of tearable packaging material. It will be noted that the concept of tear resistance is essentially subjective. It will be understood that the material which has a tear resistance has in fact a higher resistance than that of the packaging material.
According to a particular, non-compulsory embodiment, the precut sheet 10 includes a zone of least resistance 16, for example in the form of a V which, as shown more particularly in FIG. 2, coincides with the point of the V formed by the strip of peeling 13. This zone of least resistance is located in zone 15 ′ which is the projection onto the sheet 10 of the glued or heat-sealed pad 15 formed on the underside of the tongue 14.
The zone of least resistance 16 can advantageously be constituted by a cutout or a notch, which allows, in this case, the tongue 14 to be directly linked, through this opening 16, to the tear strip 13.
From the point of view of assembling the different components, we start by heat sealing the tear-off tab 13 on the inside of the precut sheet 10, we glue or seal the tab 14 on the outside of this sheet, then we stick the label 12 also on this outer face so that its triangular point covers the rear end 17 of the tongue 14.
The front end of the tongue remains free and forms a zipper 18 which will subsequently allow the pre-cut sheet to be torn along the outer edges of the tear strip 13, that is, on the one hand, along edges 19 and 20 of the triangular portion and, on the other hand, along the edges 21 and 22 of the arched rear face of this portion. In fact, as shown in FIG. 1, the end sections 23 and 24 of the tear strip 13 are first of all sealed flat against the inner face of the precut sheet 10 and then curved at the same time as the latter. to adopt positions 23 'and 24' shown in phantom in Figure 1.
It will also be noted that, on the triangular portions thus produced, the angles 25 and 26 of the pull tab 18 can be folded down along the vertical lateral faces of this portion when they are canned or before.
Unlike traditional packaging for which the opening zipper is not visible on the main face bearing the label, the described portions, whether grouped in boxes or presented individually, have a clearly visible zipper appearing on their main face .
Given the connection made between the tongue 14 and the precut sheet 10 and / or the tear strip 13, a pull exerted on the pull tab 18 causes a tear initiation at the tip of the V of the tear strip 13, in such a way that this tear propagates along the outer edges of the branches of this tear strip, that is to say along the edges 19 and 20, then 21 and 22.
Figures 3 and 4 illustrate an embodiment very similar to that described with reference to Figures 1 and 2. This is why identical or similar elements have the same reference numbers in both cases. What distinguishes the second embodiment from the first is that the tongue 14 and the label 12 are constituted by a single element. In fact, the label 12 ′ has an extension 14 ′ at its tip, the function of which is identical to that of the tongue 14. The envelope comprises, as before, a precut sheet 10, a tear strip 13 and the label 12 'with its extension 14' whose anterior end forms a zipper 18 '. Apart from the fact that the label and the tab are put in place simultaneously, the assembly of the different components is identical in both cases. The envelope is opened as before.
The independent tab secured to the label may have a rectangular shape or rounded edges. In the case of the independent tongue, the rectangular shape is advantageous because it allows cutting without falling into a strip.
