Abstract

The finisher/grinder consists of a hollow base (1) supporting a sliding table (2) with a holder (3) for the workpiece (4), driven by a motor (5). The grinding wheel (9) is mounted on the upper end of a swinging arm (8), the lower end (11) of which is connected to a pendulum mechanism (13) inside the hollow base. A motor unit (12) controls the powition of the swinging arm, which can rotate about a horizontal axis (7) and a rotary ring (6) which supports the horizontal pivot. USE/ADVANTAGE - Finishing and grinding machine provides for rapid and wide adjustment of grinding wheel position.

   DESCRIPTION



   La présente invention concerne une machine à rectifier dont le principe de construction est selon le préambule de la revendication 1.



   Les machines à rectifier connues comportent un chariot transversal portant le support de meule, ledit chariot étant déplacé sur des coulisses par un attelage mécanique ou un vérin hydraulique permettant ainsi de mettre en contact la meule et la pièce.



   Ce système, largement utilisé, présente l'inconvénient de ne pas maintenir assez solidement le support de meule lors d'une forte pénétration de la meule dans la pièce. La fabrication des pièces de l'attelage mécanique, ainsi que l'usinage des coulisses, est délicate et onéreuse.



   Les vitesses de déplacement du support de meule sont peu élevées et l'ampleur du déplacement étroitement limité par les possibilités de course des pièces de l'attelage.



   La présente invention a pour but de surmonter ces inconvénients et limites en permettant des déplacements rapides, amples, une tenue très ferme du support de meule tout en simplifiant la construction de la machine. A cet effet, la machine à rectifier selon l'invention est agencée comme indiqué dans la revendication 1.



   La liaison du dispositif pendulaire, supportant la meule, au bâti par un axe présente une articulation simple à jeu réduit et d'une grande solidité autorisant un important meulage de la pièce,   d'où    de nouvelles possibilités d'usinage en rectification.



   Le dessin annexé représente, à titre d'exemple, une forme d'exécution de la machine à rectifier, objet de l'invention.



   La figure 1 est une vue en coupe simplifiée selon un plan perpendiculaire à l'axe de la pièce à usiner.



   La figure 2 est une projection schématique des principaux éléments constitutifs.



   La figure 3 est un vue en plan représentant une orientation du dispositif pendulaire pour un déplacement de la meule non perpendiculaire à l'axe de la pièce.



   La machine   ieprésentée    à la figure 1 comporte un bâti 1 supportant une table coulissante 2 portant le dispositif 3 maintenant la pièce à usiner 4 qui est mise en rotation au moyen du moteur 5. Le dispositif pendulaire est fixé au bâti par l'intermédiaire d'une tourelle 6 permettant diverses orientations du dispositif par rapport à l'axe de la pièce 4. Le dispositif pendulaire bascule sur un axe 7 solidaire de la tourelle et il comporte un bras 8 supportant la meule 9 qui est mise en rotation par le moteur 10. Un autre bras 11, solidaire du bras 8, est lié au moteur 12 assurant le déplacement angulaire du    -    dispositif autour de l'axe 7, ledit moteur étant fixé au bâti 1. La position angulaire est contrôlée et asservie au moyen d'un organe de mesure et commande 13.

  Selon la figure 2, la machine, schématiquement représentée, montre deux positions du dispositif pendulaire, l'une en traits pleins, l'autre en pointillé avec la meule en contact avec la pièce, le mouvement pendulaire étant dans un plan fixe par rapport à la pièce.



   La figure 3 est une vue en plan de la machine avec un mouvement pendulaire non perpendiculaire à l'axe de la pièce à usiner.



  Deux positions sont représentées,   rune    en traits pleins, avec la meule en retrait permettant l'échange de la pièce à usiner, l'autre en pointillé, avec la meule en contact avec la pièce et usinant simultanément un diamètre 14 et un épaulement   15   
 La présente machine à rectifier, avec mouvement pendulaire pour l'approche de la meule contre la pièce à usiner ou son retrait, permet notamment un dégagement important de la meule facilitant l'accès à la pièce à usiner lors d'échange, des mouvements de déplacement rapides, une grande précision et un coût de fabrication réduit du fait de l'articulation du dispositif pendulaire sur un axe, sans autre attelage mécanique entre le moteur agissant pour un changement de position et le support de meule.



   La tourelle d'orientation du dispositif pendulaire permet de choisir un plan d'approche de la meule contre la pièce.



   Les avantages de cette machine sont la simplicité de sa construction, une précision et une productivité élevées, et pour l'opérateur un travail facilité apportant ainsi un progrès technique considérable dans le domaine des machines à rectifier. 



  
 



   DESCRIPTION



   The present invention relates to a grinding machine, the principle of construction of which is according to the preamble of claim 1.



   Known grinding machines include a transverse carriage carrying the wheel support, said carriage being moved on slides by a mechanical coupling or a hydraulic cylinder thus making it possible to put the wheel and the part in contact.



   This widely used system has the drawback of not holding the grinding wheel support firmly enough when the grinding wheel penetrates strongly into the workpiece. The manufacture of the parts of the mechanical coupling, as well as the machining of the slides, is delicate and expensive.



   The speeds of movement of the grinding wheel support are low and the extent of movement is strictly limited by the possibilities of travel of the parts of the coupling.



   The object of the present invention is to overcome these drawbacks and limits by allowing rapid, wide movements, very firm holding of the grinding wheel support while simplifying the construction of the machine. To this end, the grinding machine according to the invention is arranged as indicated in claim 1.



   The connection of the pendulum device, supporting the grinding wheel, to the frame by an axis has a simple articulation with reduced play and a great solidity allowing a significant grinding of the part, from where new possibilities of machining in grinding.



   The accompanying drawing shows, by way of example, an embodiment of the grinding machine, object of the invention.



   Figure 1 is a simplified sectional view along a plane perpendicular to the axis of the workpiece.



   Figure 2 is a schematic projection of the main components.



   Figure 3 is a plan view showing an orientation of the pendulum device for a movement of the grinding wheel not perpendicular to the axis of the workpiece.



   The machine shown in FIG. 1 comprises a frame 1 supporting a sliding table 2 carrying the device 3 holding the workpiece 4 which is rotated by means of the motor 5. The pendulum device is fixed to the frame by means of a turret 6 allowing various orientations of the device relative to the axis of the workpiece 4. The pendulum device rocks on an axis 7 secured to the turret and it comprises an arm 8 supporting the grinding wheel 9 which is rotated by the motor 10 Another arm 11, integral with the arm 8, is linked to the motor 12 ensuring the angular displacement of the - device around the axis 7, said motor being fixed to the frame 1. The angular position is controlled and controlled by means of a measurement and control unit 13.

  According to Figure 2, the machine, schematically shown, shows two positions of the pendulum device, one in solid lines, the other in dotted lines with the grinding wheel in contact with the workpiece, the pendulum movement being in a fixed plane relative to the room.



   Figure 3 is a plan view of the machine with a pendulum movement not perpendicular to the axis of the workpiece.



  Two positions are shown, rune in solid lines, with the grinding wheel set back allowing the exchange of the workpiece, the other in dotted lines, with the grinding wheel in contact with the workpiece and simultaneously machining a diameter 14 and a shoulder 15
 The present grinding machine, with pendulum movement for the approach of the grinding wheel against the workpiece or its removal, allows in particular a significant clearance of the grinding wheel facilitating access to the workpiece during exchange, movements of rapid movement, high precision and reduced manufacturing cost due to the articulation of the pendulum device on an axis, without any other mechanical coupling between the motor acting for a change of position and the wheel support.



   The tilting device's turret allows you to choose an approach plane for the grinding wheel against the workpiece.



   The advantages of this machine are the simplicity of its construction, high precision and productivity, and for the operator an easier work thus bringing a considerable technical progress in the field of grinding machines.

REVENDICATIONS 1. Machine à rectifier comportant, montés sur le bâti, un dispositif supportant la piéce à rectifier et un dispositif pendulaire portant la meule et son moteur d'entraînement, le plan du mouvement pendulaire pouvant être non perpendiculaire à l'axe de la pièce et l'axe de la meule pouvant être disposé de façon non parallèle à l'axe de la pièce dans le plan horizontal, caractérisé en ce que le dispositif pendulaire supportant la meule est, dans un plan vertical, angulairement déplaçable de façon à amener la meule en contact avec la pièce pour l'usinage progressif sur le diamètre de la pièce et simultanément sur une face radiale.  CLAIMS  1.
