BESCHREIBUNG

DESCRIPTION
The invention relates to an open fireplace with a pillar, which is pre-fabricated and can be rotated by 3600 and is suitable for installation in living rooms.
Cast iron prefabricated open fireplaces are known. The construction is such that such a chimney stands with the greatest part of its width and depth on the floor area, with the disadvantage that its constantly used floor area, which corresponds to its projected floor plan extent, is fixed and is therefore not used otherwise or for flexible use can be and is also associated with the disadvantage that the radiation direction of the open fire of such fireplaces can not be changed or only to a limited extent. Such a radiation direction of the open fire of such fireplaces, which cannot be changed or is limited, limits and fixes the arrangement of seating possibilities in the area of the fireplace and only allows a relatively inflexible use of the area around the fireplace and limits the possibility of including it in adjacent living areas.
The invention has for its object to provide an open prefabricated fireplace of the type described above, the footprint on the floor is limited by the cross-sectional area of a column with a floor covering flush with the floor and the advantages of an open fireplace, the radiation direction of which can be changed by 3600, the flexible use the area around the fireplace and the possibility of incorporating it into adjacent living areas.
According to the invention the object is achieved in that an open fireplace according to the preamble of claim 1 has the features listed in its characterizing part.
The column made of steel and the compact housing made of steel or cast iron are connected to each other and can thus be rotated as a unit in the axis of the column by 360 ". The free projection of the compact housing creates ground clearance, which enables flexible use of the area The direction of radiation of the open fire, which is enclosed by the compact housing, which has a fire opening, can be changed to 360 by the rotatability of the two main components connected to one unit the cast-iron compact housing gives off the heat on all sides.
The surfaces of the open fireplace with pillar can be treated individually in terms of color, which makes it possible to set up the fireplace in rooms with a rustic ambience, as well as in rooms or room structures that are objectively modern.
The invention is described below with reference to the drawing.
Show it:
1 is a vertical section through an open fireplace according to the invention,
2 shows a vertical section through the lower end of the guiding and carrying device of an open fireplace anchored in the floor according to the invention,
3 shows a horizontal cross section through the chimney according to FIG. 1,
4 is a front view of the fireplace according to FIGS. 1 to 3.
The fireplace shown in the drawing is placed in living rooms. It consists of two main components: - the column - the compact housing
As can be seen from FIGS. 1, 3 and 4, the two main components are connected to one another and can thus be connected in a unit in the axis of the column by 360 ".
The guide and support device 3 forms, together with the smoke extraction and support tube 2, the aforementioned column.
The chimney consists in detail of - guide and support device 3 made of steel which, as shown in Fig. 1 and 3, is either mounted on a base plate 1 or, as shown in Fig. 2, is anchored directly to the floor, wherein in both cases, for the purpose of the exact vertical adjustment of the smoke extraction and support pipe 2, adjustment devices 10 are attached to the lower end of the guide and support device 3, - the smoke extraction and support pipe 2 made of steel, which, as shown in FIGS. 1, 2 and 3 '360' is rotatably placed over the guide and support device 3 and has a partition 4 inside which separates the two functions of smoke extraction / support and at the same time serves as a support plate. A guide pin 11 is arranged on the partition 4 and can be rotated in the guide and carrying device 3 is mounted.
A washer 12 made of metal or another heat-resistant, resilient material is arranged between the partition 4 and the top of the guide and support device 3 in order to minimize the frictional resistance between the surfaces of the support of the smoke exhaust and support tube 2 and the top of the guide and support device 3 to reach. As can be seen from Fig. 1, a sleeve 5 is arranged at the upper end of the smoke exhaust and support pipe 2, which protrudes half into the chimney connection pipe without being firmly connected to it, and the other half on the smoke extraction and support pipe 2 is attached.
The sleeve 5 made of sheet steel serves to seal the butt joint between the two pipes without impeding the rotatability of the smoke extraction and support pipe 2 - the compact housing 7 made of cast iron or steel, which, as can be seen from FIGS. 1 and 3 , is provided with a fireclay lining 15, has a fire opening on the front for the insertion of fuel and for individual handling over the fire and encloses the fire chamber with a fire grate 9, ash container 13 and smoke neck 14, as well as one on the front of this compact housing 7 attached table-like removable cantilever plate 8 made of steel, through which the fold-out fire grate 9 is supported and which serves as a protective device against inflammation of the floor by flying sparks.
