BESCHREIBUNG

DESCRIPTION
The present invention relates to a transport device for pusher or continuous furnaces, which is used for the sliding transport of annealing material which can be placed on at least one sliding shoe through the furnace, the sliding shoe having an at least approximately U-shaped cross section with legs projecting downwards for laterally guided support on rails in the Oven.
For heat treatment of ingots, blocks and the like. Annealing material made of aluminum or aluminum alloys, so-called pusher or continuous furnaces are used, through which the annealing material is moved and thereby exposed to the annealing temperature of a few hundred degrees.
For the passage through the furnace, the annealing material is placed on sliding shoes that can be moved on rails of the furnace, for which a hydraulic pushing device is usually used, which can develop a pushing force of a few hundred tons.
With furnace lengths of twenty and more meters and thus corresponding displacement paths of the highly loaded sliding shoes on the rails, there are significant problems in maintaining the lubricant supply between the sliding shoes and the shoes, as well as the requirement for high compressive forces for the displacement.
The first-mentioned problem is not mastered in a known furnace in which the lubricant, for example in the form of a graphite-oil mixture or the like, is applied to the rails before the sliding shoes are placed on the rails. This lubricant is used up after just a few meters of displacement and the remaining distance must be covered with dry running. However, this results in very high wear and tear, the need for frequent replacement of the sliding shoes and the rails, and the need to apply the highest compressive forces.
In another known solution, in which a dry, powdered graphite lubricant from funnel-shaped storage chambers in the slide shoe reaches the rails, a limited supply of lubricant can be maintained over the entire displacement path, but the measures required are complex and cumbersome.
The compressive forces required for transport are also very high here.
A significantly more wear-free movement between the slide shoes and the rails allows a known arrangement in which the slide shoe carries certain slide strips on its inner web side for resting on the rail means.
These slide strips made of colloidal graphite solve the problem of lubrication, but still require high displacement forces.
The object of the present invention is to design a transport device of the type described above in such a way that lubrication is unnecessary and that in addition the coefficient of friction and thus the necessary thrust force for transport can be reduced by a multiple compared to the prior art.
This is achieved according to the invention in that the sliding shoe is supported on the rails by at least one endless roller belt running longitudinally in the transport direction.
It is essential that the roller belt or its individual rollers are made of a material that allows wear-free feed with a practically constant friction coefficient even at an ambient temperature of approximately 600 to 650 ° C.
This material can be a high-alloy, heat-resistant steel.
The configuration of the subject matter of the invention is then preferably such that the roller belts are integrated in the sliding shoes or in the rails.
These measures now make it possible not only to dispense with lubricants, but also to achieve wear-free transport of the sliding elements on the rails at considerably higher furnace throughput speeds with comparatively substantially lower thrust forces.
An example embodiment of the subject matter of the invention is explained in more detail below with reference to the drawing.
Show it:
Figure 1 is a schematic representation of a pusher furnace with the transport device according to the invention in cross section.
Fig. 2 in a diagram-like representation and on a larger scale, the transport device in a single representation, and
3 and 4 a slide shoe of the transport device in cross and longitudinal section on a larger scale.
1 shows an annealing chamber 1, in which hot gases circulate, which are heated by burners 2 in the furnace jacket 3 and circulated by a fan 4.
Bottom side of the furnace is penetrated by rails 5 of a transport device (vertical to the plane of the drawing and over a length of often more than twenty meters), which are supported on bases 8 on the floor.
Slidable sliding shoes 6 are seated on these rails 5, which support the deposit of annealing material 7 (FIG. 1), e.g. Ingots or blocks serve, which is moved through the furnace, as has already been explained in detail in the introduction.
As can be seen in more detail in FIG. 2, the body of the sliding shoes 6 is, in a known manner, essentially of U-shaped cross section with legs 10 projecting downwards for laterally guided support on the rail 5 in question.
Sliding shoes of this type and their guide means for the guided rail support are otherwise known and do not require any further explanation here, since this is not essential to the invention.
According to the invention, the sliding shoes 6 are each supported on the rails 5 by means of two roller belts 12, the configuration of the roller belts being able to be seen in more detail in FIGS. 3 and 4.
3 and 4, the roller belts 12 are illustrated as parts on the slide shoe 6, these can of course also be installed in the rails 5 in question. Likewise, more than two roller belts can be arranged side by side or one behind the other.
It is essential that the roller belts 12 or their individual rollers 14 consist of a material which ensures a practically constant coefficient of friction between the sliding shoes 6 or roller belts 12 and the rails 5, which can be displaced relative to one another, even at conventional furnace temperatures of up to around 6500C, which does not only the so-called slip-stick effect is avoided, but also only a relatively low, always constant thrust has to be applied, which ensures a smooth feed that allows safe transport even of upright blocks of annealing material.
A suitable material for this is, for example, high-alloy heat-resistant steel.
The arrangement according to FIGS. 2 and 4 can be such that a guide plate 13 is firmly connected, for example screwed, to the slide shoe 6, which forms support surfaces for the individual rollers 14, which are interconnected by chain guides 15 on both sides to form an endless roller belt 12 are.
It has been shown that optimal rolling properties are achieved in this way.
