Abstract

The case (1) is coupled to a backplate (10) of slightly larger dia. by a support (11) of semicircular cross-section moulded in one piece of synthetic material with the backplate, to which an end of the strap (2) is secured (15) at a peripheral point adjacent to the twelve o'clock graduation of the dial (4). The other end is passed through a tapered radial groove (29) at the six o'clock graduation and wound counterclockwise around the half-cylinder before being drawn out through another groove near the attachment point, leaving a loop sufficient to encircle the wrist. For a longer e.g. necklace loop, the strap can be inserted and wound in the opposite direction. ADVANTAGE - Attachment affords a wide range of adjustment.
