PATENTANSPRÜCHE

PATENT CLAIMS
1. Window sash with wooden frame and insulating glazing, the glazing being secured on the inside of the frame by a retaining strip engaging in a groove, characterized in that the retaining strip (5) has a longitudinal web (6) inclined to this surface on its surface directed towards the frame (1). contains and in the support surface (10) of the retaining strip (5) of the frame (1) there is an inclined groove (7) corresponding to the longitudinal web (6), into which the longitudinal web (6) engages.
2. Window sash according to claim 1, characterized in that the inclined longitudinal web (6) points towards the outside of the frame and the angle of inclination (a) of the longitudinal web (6) or the oblique groove (7) to the support surface of the holding rod (5) 50-70 , preferably about 600.
3. Window sash according to claim 1 or 2, characterized in that there is a distance between the root of the longitudinal web (6) and the inside of the frame, which in double insulating glazing is preferably about 1/4 of the horizontal extent of the retaining strip (5).
4. Window sash according to one of claims 1-3, characterized in that the thickness of the longitudinal web (6) corresponds at least to its depth.
The invention relates to a window sash with a wooden frame and insulating glazing, the glazing being secured on the inside of the frame by a retaining strip engaging in a groove.
In conventional windows with wooden frames, it is common to support insulating glass panes on the inside of the room with a retaining strip. This retaining strip is attached to the wooden frame by screws or nails.
The object of the invention is to fix such retaining strips to the window frame without screws and nails and thereby simplify the assembly.
This object is achieved by the features mentioned in the characterizing part of patent claim 1.
As a result of the oblique groove in the frame, the correspondingly inclined longitudinal web of the retaining bar holds without additional fastening elements solely through friction and clamping action.
The elimination of screws and nails simplifies the assembly and, if necessary, disassembly of the pane in the frame. In addition, the optional, also subsequent use of glazing with two or three panes is possible by using holding strips 5 of different lengths.
In the drawing, an embodiment of the subject of the invention is shown. The figure shows a cross section through a window frame with inserted insulating glass.
Insulating glazing 2 is used in a wooden window frame. The casement list is provided with common steps 12 for interacting with a suitably shaped, fixed frame. The insulating glazing 2 can either be double glazing, as in the exemplary embodiment shown, or triple glazing. The insulating glazing 2 is supported in a groove 8 between two elastic rubber strips 3, 4 by a holding strip 5. The retaining strip 5 located on the inside of the room engages with an oblique longitudinal web 6 in a correspondingly inclined oblique groove 7 of the frame 1.
The angle a of both the oblique groove 7 and the longitudinal web 6 to the surface 10 is 50-70, preferably approximately 600. The depth of the oblique groove 7 is less than its double width. The thickness of the longitudinal web 6 corresponds at least to its depth. The longitudinal web 6 together with the wooden retaining strip 5 consists of a single piece. The root of the longitudinal web 6 protruding from the holding strip 5 is distanced from the vertical surface 11 of the holding strip 5 on the inside of the room. In double-insulated glazing 2, that is, according to the embodiment shown in the drawing, the distance from the vertical surface 11 to the root of the longitudinal web 6 is approximately 1/4 of the total length of the holding strip 5.
On the side of the holding strip 5 facing the rubber strip 4 there is a flat groove 9 into which the rubber strip 4 engages.
The groove 7 is preferably produced in such a way that with a milling cutter a groove is formed which is perpendicular to the surface 10 and this is subsequently made by inclining the milling cutter e.g. 300 is expanded.
Such pressure glazing is installed in such a way that the insulating glass panes 2, together with the rubber strip 3, forming a structural unit are inserted into the frame 1. Then the retaining strips 5 are inserted all around into the oblique grooves 6. The elastic rubber strip 4 is then pressed into the remaining space between the glass pane 2 and the holding strip 5 by suitable tools. The longitudinal web 6 is thereby jammed in the oblique groove 7 and holds the insulating glazing in place, since self-locking occurs between the longitudinal web 6 and the groove 7. It is therefore not possible for a wind pressure acting on the window pane to lift the retaining strip 5 out of the oblique groove 6.
If, on the other hand, the retaining strip 5 is to be removed, for example, to replace the insulating glazing 2, this can first be loosened by inserting a knife-like tool into the gap 13 and then lifted off.
If a glass fastening originally designed for double glazing is available, such a frame 1 can be converted in a simple manner for thicker triple glazing by using shorter retaining strips 5.
