Definitions
- the invention relates to a wood-aluminum window with aluminum profiles placed on the outer surface of the wood profiles.
- holders are usually screwed onto the wood profiles, which are special profiles that have been greatly modified compared to simple wooden windows, which engage in undercut grooves that extend far beyond the cladding panels of the aluminum profiles backward projecting, partially angled webs are formed.
- the aluminum profiles, the wooden profiles are preferably three-sided shells with a tight fit, and that longitudinal ventilation grooves are milled into the overlapping area in the wooden profiles.
- the design according to the invention also has the advantage that the wall thickness of the aluminum profiles can be made smaller due to the lack of webs for sliding onto the holder, which on the one hand makes their manufacture cheaper and on the other hand reduces the weight of the windows.
- the aluminum profiles preferably engage behind an undercut shoulder of the wooden profile at least on one side and are fixed to the wooden profiles by screw connections provided on the opposite side.
- This type of bracket allows a simple snap-on of the aluminum profiles, which then only requires the placement of a few fixing screws, which is considerably easier than the previous method of attachment, in which the fixing screws were ultimately also required in addition to the complicated holders to be attached to the wooden profiles .
- an embodiment has proven to be even more favorable in an embodiment in which the aluminum profiles engage behind undercut shoulders of the wooden profile on both sides, with the shoulder on one side a groove can be formed in which U-shaped edge strips of the aluminum profile can engage by clamping.
- the bowl-shaped aluminum profiles should not lie directly on the wooden profiles, but should encompass them at a very short distance of one or a few millimeters, it being possible in a further embodiment of the invention that the aluminum profiles and the wooden profiles are preferably interposed with self-adhesive damping plates , so that a rattling or other movements of the aluminum profiles can be easily prevented by these few millimeter thick elastic damping plates.
- the playful encirclement of the wooden frame by the aluminum profiles should be chosen in a further embodiment of the invention such that the profiles due to their elasticity and / or the elasticity of the damping plates and the clearance between the inner surfaces of the wooden profiles by about 1 to 3 mm , preferably 2 mm, can be clamped outwards. Due to this tension, there is a particularly favorable option for retrofitting the cladding profiles to the frame of a wooden window.
- the miter cut aluminum profiles are clipped onto three of the wooden frame profiles of the finished wooden window, and to clip on the fourth aluminum profile, the free ends of the adjoining aluminum profiles are spring-loaded laterally outwards. Then they spring back again and lie on the miter edges of the fourth aluminum profile, so that there is a smooth, clean transition. Obviously, a subsequent application of the aluminum profiles to the wooden windows could not take place without this special configuration.
- outer legs of the aluminum profiles are provided with recesses for hooking in from the corner overlapping leaf spring elements spanning the aluminum profiles.
- these frames 5, 6, 7 and 8 are essentially bowl-shaped, so that they - in particular this applies to the upper and lower frame legs and the upper floor frame - closely grip the associated wooden profile 2, 3 and 4 on three sides, almost positively, where in each case an inwardly angled leg 6 ', 7', 8 'engages behind an undercut shoulder 2', 3 ', 4' of the respective wooden profile 2, 3, 4, while on the opposite side of the aluminum frame 6, 7, 8 is fixed with the aid of screw connections 9.
- the ventilation profiles 10, 2 of the appropriate depth are milled into the wooden profiles so that, for example, there is a clear distance between the bottom of the grooves and the inside of the aluminum Frame t of about 8 mm results.
- the special seals which have been customary up to now are not required.
- self-adhesive damping plates 11 made of elastic felt or the like are. provided, which are glued to the inside of the aluminum profiles and are pressed together when plugging onto the wooden profiles between these and the front sides of the wooden profiles.
- the aluminum profile 5 for the lower floor frame 1 is designed somewhat differently because of the rain gutter 12 provided in this area and, of course, cannot be placed in a form-fitting manner around the wooden profile in this area. At 13 you can see a series of bores in the bowl-shaped aluminum profiles to ensure sufficient air circulation between the aluminum profiles and the wooden profiles. 14 is also a water drain opening.
- FIG 3 shows a modified embodiment, in which the aluminum profiles 6 and 8 also engage behind undercut shoulders 2 ′′ and 4 ′′ on the upper side, the design being such that these upper shoulders 2 ′′ and 4 ′′ pass through Grooves 15 of the wooden profiles are formed, in which U-shaped edge strips 16 of the aluminum profile engage by clamping.
- This training in which a screwing similar to that of FIG. 2 can of course also be provided, has the decisive advantage that it makes it possible to combine the aluminum profiles and the wooden profiles before cutting to length, so that, for example, the usual 6 m Long aluminum profiles can be combined with correspondingly long wooden profiles, which are then - and this means that only one corresponding production is necessary - divided into sections according to the window legs, preferably mitred.
- Fig. 4 it is indicated how, after clipping on the aluminum cladding profiles on the upper and the two lateral legs of a window or a frame, the lateral cladding profiles at the lower end are initially pressed outwards by about 2 mm in the direction of the two arrows shown, in order to be able to do this Way to create space to be able to clip on the cladding profile for the lower leg. Without the elastic displaceability of the two adjacent profiles to the outside, the fourth profile could not be applied subsequently.
- FIG. 5 shows a modified embodiment of the lower frame leg 3 'of a window, onto which the aluminum profile 7' can be clipped in by gripping the undercut shoulders of the wooden profile on both sides.
- the clipping is indicated in thin lines and by the indication of a curved arrow.
- This embodiment enables the cladding profile 7 'to be moved outwards by approximately 2 mm (downwards in FIG. 5), in order in this way to achieve the above-mentioned elastic outward movement of the profiles to be able to clip the fourth cladding profile.
- a leaf spring element 17 can be seen, which can be hooked with its angled end sections 18 into somewhat larger recesses 19 of the aluminum profiles in order to press the aluminum profiles together in the miter contact edge 20.
- the recesses 19 are expediently arranged in the region of groove-shaped depressions of the profiles, so that the leaf spring elements 17 do not protrude outwards at all in the assembly position and thus do not attract attention.
- the indication of the leaf spring elements in FIG. 4 is only intended to indicate the position, but in reality they are shifted more inwards in the grooves of the profiles and are therefore arranged in a concealed manner.
- the invention is not limited to the exemplary embodiment shown.

Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a wood-aluminum window with aluminum profiles placed on the outer surface of the wood profiles.
In the previously manufactured and distributed wood-aluminum windows, holders are usually screwed onto the wood profiles, which are special profiles that have been greatly modified compared to simple wooden windows, which engage in undercut grooves that extend far beyond the cladding panels of the aluminum profiles backward projecting, partially angled webs are formed.
This results in very high manufacturing costs as well as high assembly costs, so that wood-aluminum windows of the previous construction are approx. 70 to 80% more expensive than windows made of wood or plastic. The invention is therefore based on the object of designing a wood-aluminum window of the type mentioned in such a way that simpler, cheaper profiles can be used and, moreover, the assembly is simplified.
To achieve this object, it is provided according to the invention that the aluminum profiles, the wooden profiles are preferably three-sided shells with a tight fit, and that longitudinal ventilation grooves are milled into the overlapping area in the wooden profiles.
As a result of the quasi positive three-sided encirclement of the wooden profiles by the aluminum profile shells, there is the possibility, as wooden profiles, of only slightly revised wooden profiles of commercially available wooden windows to be used, whereby the longitudinal ventilation grooves can be milled easily in one operation with the four-sided processing of the wooden profiles. These milled longitudinal ventilation grooves meet the DIN requirement that 7 mm deep rear ventilation must be provided between the wood and the aluminum, but with the construction according to the invention with the advantage that this does not have to be the case everywhere, but only in the area of Longitudinal grooves, which makes the windows much less thick and bulky.
The design according to the invention also has the advantage that the wall thickness of the aluminum profiles can be made smaller due to the lack of webs for sliding onto the holder, which on the one hand makes their manufacture cheaper and on the other hand reduces the weight of the windows.
In an embodiment of the invention it can be provided that the aluminum profiles preferably engage behind an undercut shoulder of the wooden profile at least on one side and are fixed to the wooden profiles by screw connections provided on the opposite side. This type of bracket allows a simple snap-on of the aluminum profiles, which then only requires the placement of a few fixing screws, which is considerably easier than the previous method of attachment, in which the fixing screws were ultimately also required in addition to the complicated holders to be attached to the wooden profiles .
In practice, an embodiment has proven to be even more favorable in an embodiment in which the aluminum profiles engage behind undercut shoulders of the wooden profile on both sides, with the shoulder on one side a groove can be formed in which U-shaped edge strips of the aluminum profile can engage by clamping.
With particular advantage, the bowl-shaped aluminum profiles should not lie directly on the wooden profiles, but should encompass them at a very short distance of one or a few millimeters, it being possible in a further embodiment of the invention that the aluminum profiles and the wooden profiles are preferably interposed with self-adhesive damping plates , so that a rattling or other movements of the aluminum profiles can be easily prevented by these few millimeter thick elastic damping plates.
The playful encirclement of the wooden frame by the aluminum profiles should be chosen in a further embodiment of the invention such that the profiles due to their elasticity and / or the elasticity of the damping plates and the clearance between the inner surfaces of the wooden profiles by about 1 to 3 mm , preferably 2 mm, can be clamped outwards. Due to this tension, there is a particularly favorable option for retrofitting the cladding profiles to the frame of a wooden window. First, the miter cut aluminum profiles are clipped onto three of the wooden frame profiles of the finished wooden window, and to clip on the fourth aluminum profile, the free ends of the adjoining aluminum profiles are spring-loaded laterally outwards. Then they spring back again and lie on the miter edges of the fourth aluminum profile, so that there is a smooth, clean transition. Obviously, a subsequent application of the aluminum profiles to the wooden windows could not take place without this special configuration.
Finally, it is also within the scope of the invention that the outer legs of the aluminum profiles are provided with recesses for hooking in from the corner overlapping leaf spring elements spanning the aluminum profiles.

In the figures you can see the
In order to achieve the necessary ventilation depth between the wooden profile and the aluminum profile, the
In order to ensure a wobble-free and jingle-free mounting of the aluminum profiles on the wooden profiles, self-
This training, in which a screwing similar to that of FIG. This means a considerable simplification of production, with a possible additional screwing of the aluminum profiles to the wooden profiles then only with such production after they have been separated into the window frame legs.
In Fig.
The clipping is indicated in thin lines and by the indication of a curved arrow. This embodiment enables the cladding profile 7 'to be moved outwards by approximately 2 mm (downwards in FIG. 5), in order in this way to achieve the above-mentioned elastic outward movement of the profiles to be able to clip the fourth cladding profile.
In Fig. 6 a
The invention is not limited to the exemplary embodiment shown. In particular, it would of course also be possible - although the application has been coordinated with the preferred case of wood-aluminum windows - to design wood-plastic windows with corresponding plastic shells in the manner described above using wood-aluminum Windows with aluminum cladding profiles has been described.
