The invention relates to a method for positioning spinning bobbins and for transferring them to a subsequent device with a vibrating conveyor plate on which the spinning bobbins are aligned and conveyed in the direction of their longitudinal axis.
For the transfer of spinning bobbins for further processing in a subsequent device, it is known to arrange the spinning bobbins accumulating and transported in spinning bobbin containers in a separately arranged system and to bring them into the position that they are in the correct order to the subsequent device can be handed over. These known devices require a relatively large amount of space, since a relatively large distance is required, within which the spinning bobbins must be aligned and separated from their tangled arrangement until individual spinning bobbins are present, which can then be transferred to the subsequent device. Such a device is, for example, a feed device that transfers the individual spinning heads to the downstream processing machine.
In the known devices, the parts which carry out a first pre-sorting of the tangled spinning bobbins take up a relatively large amount of space. However, even more space is required when it comes to the pre-sorted, i.e. bring the partially aligned spinning cops into the correct position and at the right distance from the neighboring spinning cops so that they can be transferred to the subsequent device without any problems.
This is where the invention comes in, which is based on the object of designing the method of the type described at the outset in such a way that the spinning bobbins can be made available for transfer to the subsequent device with less straightening distances, less technical outlay and less susceptibility to failure.
This object is achieved in accordance with the invention in that the spinning heads are conveyed individually or in groups in a parallel position to an end position and are shifted in the direction of the device in the parallel position, but transversely to the conveying direction when called up for transfer to the device.
To carry out the method according to the invention, the invention provides a device in which an end stop bar for aligning the spinning heads and a sliding bar are arranged at the end of a vibrating conveyor plate, the sliding bar being displaceable transversely to the conveying direction of the conveyor plate over the conveyor plate.
The invention is shown schematically in one embodiment in the accompanying drawing and described below.
The figure shows a device for positioning spinning bobbins for transferring them to an elevator arranged downstream.
In the figure, a vibrating conveyor plate 1 is shown, which has two guide runners 2, which extend in the conveying direction of spinning heads 3 moved by the conveyor plate 1 over the entire length of the conveyor plate 1. It is essential here that the conveyor plate 1 has a width such that a plurality of spinning heads 3 can be moved next to one another, but parallel to one another, in the conveying direction, it being possible for both a spinning head 3 and two or more spinning heads 3 to be moved on the conveyor plate 1 or can.
At the end of the conveyor plate 1, a stop bar 4 closes off the conveyor track defined by the guide skids 2. The spinning heads 3 moved on the conveyor plate 1 thus abut the stop bar 4 at the end of their path and initially remain there. On the entry side of the spinning heads 3 into the conveyor plate 1 there are two sensors 5, 6, e.g. Light barriers arranged, with the aid of which the conveyor plate 1 is controlled. As soon as all spinning heads 3 located on the conveyor plate 1 have arrived at the stop bar 4, this is determined by the one sensor 5, whereupon the conveyor plate 1 is switched off and the further replenishment of spinning heads 3 is thereby interrupted.
On one side of the conveyor plate, a lock 7 is arranged, which prevents the lateral pushing off of spinning heads 3 and prevents the access of spinning heads 3 to a storage plate 8 in the locked position. If the lock 7, e.g.
a lowerable flap, the spinning bobbins 3 can be pushed onto the storage disk 8 transversely to the original conveying direction by a sliding bar 9. The spinning heads 3 are delivered from the storage plate 8 to an elevator 10, which has corresponding transport niches 11, which can each accommodate only one spinning head. In this way, several spinning heads 3 can be displaced in such a way that one spinning head 3 is delivered to the elevator 10. This is only necessary
that the spinning heads 3 in any number on the stop bar 4 are aligned parallel to each other.
The sliding bar 9, which shifts the spinning heads 3 transversely to the conveying direction on the conveying plate 1, is guided on a guide rod 13 by means of a support 12. A drive (not shown) acts on the support 12 and carries out the transverse displacement of the sliding beam 9. In the figure, the stop bar 4 is also connected to the support 12 and is moved together with the sliding bar 9. A support roller 14 is also mounted on the support 12, which acts on a link 15 and removes the lock 7 from the locked position via a support rod connected to the link 15 when the slide bar 9 transversely to the conveyor plate in the sense of transferring spinning cops to the storage plate 8 1 is moved. A switch box 17 mounted on the support 12 contains the control elements required for actuating the sliding bar 9.
After the displacement movement has been carried out by the sliding bar 9, the conveyor plate 1 is no longer occupied by spinning cops, and it is switched on again.
A further sensor 6 is arranged in front of the sensor 5 and regulates the supply of spinning bobbins 3 onto the conveyor plate 1.
If one or more spinning heads reach the area of the sensor 6, the supply of further spinning heads 3 is interrupted.
For this purpose, the device 18, which can also be a conveyor plate, for example, is stopped. Then only the spinning heads 3 already lying on the conveyor plate 1 are moved on, which then reach the stop bar 4, whereupon the conveyor plate 1 is also shut down. If a further sensor 19 arranged in front of the elevator 10 then detects the absence of a spinning cop 3, it generates a signal which initiates the displacement movement of cops 3 with the aid of the sliding bar 9. Of course, it is not necessary that the stop bar 4 and the sliding bar 9 are arranged on the support 12. Other solutions are also conceivable, e.g. that the stop bar 4 is firm. The lock 7 can also be operated by a separate drive.
The storage plate 8, which can be provided with straightening webs 20, which ensures compliance with the parallel position of the spinning heads 3 rolling against the elevator, can have a beveled edge portion 21 on the elevator side. If the storage plate 8 is designed to be tiltable in the sense of a lowering on the elevator side, the result is that only a single cop 3 can get into the elevator 10 and the other spinning cops 3 are prevented from entering by forming a narrow point.
The described device works as follows:
The spinning heads 3 arriving at the entry side of the conveyor plate 1 do not need to arrive at the entry point of the conveyor plate 1 in a precisely defined arrangement. It is sufficient if they are aligned approximately in the direction of the guide skids 2. The sensor 6 interrupts the supply of further spinning heads 3, which remain in the device 18 as long as the spinning heads 3 located on the conveyor plate 1 are moved to the stop bar 4. If the sensor 19 signals the need for spinning bobbins, all spinning bobbins waiting on the stop bar 4 are pushed by the sliding bar 9 onto the storage plate 8, which is horizontal at this time.
If the sliding bar 9 returns to its starting position, the conveyor plate 1 begins to convey further cops to the stop bar 4. Only when the sensor 19 reports a need for spinning cops again, does the shifting process repeat itself, and the supply of spinning cops 3 starts again. During this time, the storage plate 8 is pivoted so that the spinning heads 3 located thereon can be removed individually from the elevator 10.
The device described can be combined with a device for emptying spinning bobbin containers (GB-PS 2 110 728) to form a complete system which allows an extremely space-saving installation and still ensures perfect positioning of the spinning bobbins and individual delivery thereof to a subsequent device. In practice, the emptying system can be connected directly to the device described; at most, a connecting device 18, for example a further conveyor system, is required, which is also controlled on the entry side by a further sensor.
However, it is also possible to integrate the described device into another system in which the spinning heads are aligned and provided individually. This independence from the manner of the upstream devices is achieved above all by the fact that the spinning heads striking the conveyor plate 1 can be taken over without extensive organization and provision.
