PATENTANSPRÜCHE
1. Am Kopf zu tragender Kälteschutz, insbesondere für Skifahrer, gekennzeichnet durch einen zum Schutz wenigstens eines Teils des Gesichts gegen Kälte und Wind ausgebildeten, maskenartigen Teil (1), der eine Brillengläser oder eine Schutzscheibe (4) aufnehmende Fassung (3) aufweist.
2. Kälteschutz nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der maskenartige Teil (1) mit der Fassung (3) einstückig aus Kunststoff gebildet ist.
3. Kälteschutz nach Anspruch 1 oder 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Fassung durch einen einstückig am maskenartigen Teil (1) angeformten, von diesem nach vorne ragenden Stutzen (3) gebildet ist.
4. Kälteschutz nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass sich der maskenartige Teil (1) über die Nase, die Wangen und das Kinn des Trägers erstreckt und mit einer Atemöffnung (2) versehen ist.
5. Kälteschutz nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 4, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass an dem maskenartigen Teil (1) Ohrenschutzklappen (8) angelenkt sind, die durch ein elastisches Band (9) miteinander verbunden sind.
6. Kälteschutz nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 4, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der maskenartige Teil (1) ein Teil einer im wesentlichen den ganzen Kopf gegen Kälte und Wind schützenden Haube (11) ist.
7. Kälteschutz nach Anspruch 6, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Haube (11) mit dem maskenartigen Teil (1) einstückig aus elastisch biegbarem Kunststoff gebildet ist und vorzugsweise am unteren Randbereich wenigstens einen Schlitz (12) aufweist, damit der untere Teil der Haube (11) zum Aufsetzen auf den Kopf aufgebogen werden kann.
8. Kälteschutz nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 7, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der maskenartige Teil (1) bzw.
die Haube (11) an der Innenseite wenigstens teilweise mit einem Polster (6) ausgekleidet ist, das so geformt ist, dass es sich dicht an das Gesicht bzw. den Kopf des Trägers schmiegt.
9. Kälteschutz nach Anspruch 8, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Polster (6) aus Schaumstoff besteht.
10.Kälteschutz nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 9, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der maskenartige Teil (1) bzw.
die Haube (11) Belüftungsöffnungen aufweist.
Die Erfindung betrifft einen am Kopf zu tragenden Kälteschutz, insbesondere für Skifahrer.
Die bisher als Kälteschutz für den Kopf verwendeten Mützen, Kappen, Kaputzen und dgl. schützen im wesentlichen lediglich den Hinterkopf; das Gesicht bleibt jedoch ungeschützt der Kälte und - bei Skifahrern - dem Fahnvind ausgesetzt.
Hier will die Erfindung Abhilfe schaffen. Die im Anspruch 1 gekennzeichnete Erfindung löst die Aufgabe, einen Kälteschutz zu schaffen, der das Gesicht des Trägers gegen Kälte und Wind schützt.
Der maskenartige Teil ist zweckmässig mit der Fassung einstückig aus Kunststoff gebildet, was eine einfache und billige Herstellung ermöglicht. Durch die Auskleidung des Kälteschutzes mit einem Schaumstoffpolster gemäss Anspruch 9 wird ein besonders guter Schutz gegen Kälte erreicht. Vorzugsweise überdeckt der maskenartige Teil gemäss Anspruch 4 im wesentlichen das ganze Gesicht oder er ist gemäss Anspruch 6 ein Teil einer im wesentlichen den ganzen Kopf umhüllenden Haube, wobei sich das Schaumstoffpolster dicht an das Gesicht bzw. den ganzen Kopf des Trägers anschmiegt und es bzw. ihn warm hält.
Im folgenden werden bevorzugte Ausführungsbeispiele der Erfindung anhand der Zeichnung näher erläutert. Es zeigen:

Der in Fig. 1 bis 4 dargestellte Kälteschutz hat eine Maske 1, die aus formfestem, aber elastisch biegsamen Kunststoff besteht. Die Maske 1 erstreckt sich über das ganze Gesicht, also über Stirn, Nase, Wangen und Kinn des Trägers und hat im Bereich des Munds eine Atemöffnung 2. Im Bereich der Augen ist an der Maske 1 eine stutzenförmig nach vorne vorstehende Fassung 3 für eine Schutzscheibe 4 (oder Brillengläser) einstückig angeformt. Zur Vermeidung eines Beschlagens der Scheibe 4 sind in der Fassung 3 und/oder an den Rändern der Scheibe 4 (nicht dargestellte) Belüftungsschlitze vorgesehen. Die Scheibe 4 sitzt in einer Nut 5 der Fassung 3 und kann durch Auseinanderziehen der Fassung leicht ausgewechselt werden.
Die Maske list an der ganzen Innenseite mit einem Schaumstoffpolster 6 ausgekleidet, das so geformt, dass es überall dicht am Gesicht des Trägers anliegt. Ein an der Maske befestigtes, in der Länge verstellbares Band 7, das über den Hinterkopf des Trägers zu ziehen ist, gewährleistet, dass die Maske 1 mit dem Schaumstoffpolster 6 dicht an das Gesicht gedrückt bleibt. Das Band 7 ist auf Höhe der Augen an der Maske befestigt, und es kann zusätzlich ein zweites, auf der Höhe des Munds an der Maske befestigtes, ebenfalls über den Hinterkopf zu ziehendes Band vorgesehen sein, um sicherzustellen, dass der untere Teil des Schaumstoffpolsters dich an das Kinn gedrückt wird.
Die Maske 1 könnte auch kleiner als in der Zeichnung dargestellt, z. B. ohne den oberenTeil für die Stirne und den unteren Teil für die Kinnpartie ausgeführt sein. Der obere Maskenteil für die Stirne kann weggelassen werden, weil diese auch mit einer Mütze geschützt werden kann; eine Maske ohne den unteren, die Kinnpartie schützenden Teil, die sich also nur über die Nase und die Wangen des Trägers erstreckt, kann für Bartträger zweckmässig sein.
Abweichend vom in der Zeichnung dargestellten Ausführungsbeispiel, bei dem die gesamte Innenfläche der Maske 1 mit dem Schaumstoffpolster 6 ausgekleidet ist, könnten auch lediglich Teilbereiche der Maske, z. B. der Umfangsrand sowie der die Atemöffnung 2 umgebende Teil der Maske mit einem Polsterring versehen sein. Um dabei sicherzustellen, dass keine ausgeatmete Luft zur Innenseite der Scheibe 4 gelangt und diese dadurch beschlägt, kann ausserdem der an die Fassung 3 angrenzende Maskenteil mit einem Polsterring versehen sein.
Die Maske 1 sowie das Schaumstoffpolster 6 können ferner Belüftungsöffnungen aufweisen, damit der Skifahrer nach längerem Tragen des Kälteschutzes nicht infolge eines Wärmestaus am Gesicht zu schwitzen beginnt.
Bei dem in Fig. 5 dargestellten Kälteschutz sind an einer ähnlich der Maske 1, lediglich im Stirnbereich schmaler ausgeführten Maske Ohrenschutzklappen 8 angeformt, die nach Art eines Gelenkfalzes gelenkig mit der Maske und durch ein elastisches, um den Hinterkopf zu tragendes und in der Länge verstellbares Band 9 miteinander verbunden sind, das dafür sorgt, dass die Klappen dicht an den Ohren anliegen. Da
mit das Hören nicht beeinträchtigt wird, sind in den Klappen Schalldurchtrittslöcher vorgesehen. Ein am Stirnteil der Maske und in der Mitte des Bandes 9 befestigtes, in der Länge verstellbares Band 10 verhindert ein Herabrutschen der Maske am Gesicht.
Der in Fig. 6 und 7 dargestellte Kälteschutz hat eine einstückig mit einem der Maske 1 entsprechenden, maskenartigen Teil gebildete, aus formfestem aber elastisch biegbaren Kunststoff bestehende Haube 11, die den ganzen Kopf gegen Kälte und Wind schützt. Die Haube 11 ist am hinteren Teil ihres unteren Randbereichs, d. h. im Bereich des Nackens und Hinterkopfes des Trägers mit einem Schlitz 12 versehen, damit ihr unterer Teil zum Aufsetzen auf den Kopf aufgebogen bzw. aufgeweitet werden kann. Wie Fig. 7 zeigt, sind die beiden Schlitzränder bei aufgesetzter Haube auseinandergespreizt, wobei die entstandene, keilförmige Öffnung durch ein an der Innenseite der Haube befestigtes, elastisch dehnbares Gewebe (Stretchgewebe) 13 abgedeckt ist.
Selbstverständlich könnte der untere Haubenrand auch mehrere, in Abständen voneinander hinten und seitlich an der Haube angeordnete Schlitze aufweisen, um das Aufweiten des unteren Hauben zu erleichtern. Die Haube 11 kann - wie die Maske 1 - an der ganzen Innenseite oder nur teilweise mit einem sich dicht an den Kopf des Trägers anschmiegenden Schaumstoffpolster ausgekleidet sein, und es können Belüftungsöffnungen sowie im Bereich der Ohren Schalldurchtrittsöffnungen vorgesehen sein. Ferner kann die Haube im Bereich der Ohren Ausbuchtungen zur Aufnahme eines Kopfhörers aufweisen.

PATENT CLAIMS
1. Cold protection to be worn on the head, in particular for skiers, characterized by a mask-like part (1) which is designed to protect at least part of the face against cold and wind and has a spectacle lens or a protective pane (4) accommodating frame (3).
2. Cold protection according to claim 1, characterized in that the mask-like part (1) with the socket (3) is formed in one piece from plastic.
3. Cold protection according to claim 1 or 2, characterized in that the socket is formed by a piece integrally molded on the mask-like part (1) and projecting from this forwardly connecting piece (3).
4. Cold protection according to one of claims 1 to 3, characterized in that the mask-like part (1) extends over the nose, cheeks and chin of the wearer and is provided with a breathing opening (2).
5. Cold protection according to one of claims 1 to 4, characterized in that on the mask-like part (1) ear protection flaps (8) are articulated, which are connected to one another by an elastic band (9).
6. Cold protection according to one of claims 1 to 4, characterized in that the mask-like part (1) is part of a hood (11) which protects the entire head against cold and wind.
7. Cold protection according to claim 6, characterized in that the hood (11) with the mask-like part (1) is formed in one piece from elastically bendable plastic and preferably has at least one slot (12) at the lower edge region so that the lower part of the hood ( 11) can be bent up to put on the head.

the hood (11) is at least partially lined on the inside with a cushion (6) which is shaped in such a way that it hugs the wearer's face or head.

The invention relates to cold protection to be worn on the head, in particular for skiers.
The caps, caps, hoods and the like previously used as cold protection for the head essentially only protect the back of the head; however, the face remains exposed to the cold and - in the case of skiers - to the flag-vane.
The invention seeks to remedy this. The invention characterized in claim 1 solves the problem of providing protection against the cold, which protects the face of the wearer against cold and wind.
The mask-like part is expediently formed in one piece with the frame from plastic, which enables simple and cheap production. A particularly good protection against cold is achieved by lining the cold protection with a foam cushion according to claim 9. The mask-like part preferably covers essentially the entire face or it is part of a hood essentially enveloping the entire head, the foam cushion nestling tightly against the face or the entire head of the wearer and it or keeps him warm.

The cold protection shown in Fig. 1 to 4 has a mask 1, which consists of dimensionally stable, but elastically flexible plastic. The mask 1 extends over the entire face, that is to say over the forehead, nose, cheeks and chin of the wearer, and has a breathing opening 2 in the area of the mouth. In the area of the eyes, there is a socket 3 protruding forward in the form of a nozzle for a protective pane 4 (or glasses) molded in one piece. To avoid fogging of the pane 4, ventilation slots (not shown) are provided in the socket 3 and / or on the edges of the pane 4. The disc 4 sits in a groove 5 of the socket 3 and can be easily replaced by pulling the socket apart.
The mask is lined on the entire inside with a foam pad 6, which is shaped so that it lies close to the face of the wearer everywhere. A length-adjustable band 7 attached to the mask, which is to be pulled over the back of the wearer's head, ensures that the mask 1 with the foam pad 6 remains pressed close to the face. The band 7 is attached to the mask at the level of the eyes, and a second band, which is also attached to the mask at the level of the mouth and is also to be pulled over the back of the head, can be provided in order to ensure that the lower part of the foam padding fits you pressed against the chin.
The mask 1 could also be smaller than shown in the drawing, e.g. B. without the upper part for the forehead and the lower part for the chin area. The upper mask part for the forehead can be omitted because it can also be protected with a cap; a mask without the lower part protecting the chin area, which only extends over the nose and cheeks of the wearer, can be useful for beard wearers.
Deviating from the embodiment shown in the drawing, in which the entire inner surface of the mask 1 is lined with the foam pad 6, only partial areas of the mask, for. B. the peripheral edge and the part of the mask surrounding the breathing opening 2 can be provided with a cushion ring. In order to ensure that no exhaled air reaches the inside of the pane 4 and fogs it up, the mask part adjacent to the socket 3 can also be provided with a cushion ring.
The mask 1 and the foam pad 6 can furthermore have ventilation openings so that the skier does not start to sweat as a result of heat build-up on the face after wearing the cold protection for a long time.
In the case of the cold protection shown in FIG. 5, ear protection flaps 8 are formed on a mask which is similar in design to the mask 1, only narrower in the forehead area Band 9 are connected to each other, which ensures that the flaps lie close to the ears. There
with the hearing is not impaired, sound passage holes are provided in the flaps. A length-adjustable band 10 attached to the front part of the mask and in the middle of the band 9 prevents the mask from sliding down on the face.
The cold protection shown in FIGS. 6 and 7 has a hood 11, which is formed in one piece with a mask-like part corresponding to the mask 1 and is made of dimensionally stable but elastically bendable plastic, which protects the entire head against cold and wind. The hood 11 is at the rear part of its lower edge region, i. H. Provide a slot 12 in the area of the neck and the back of the wearer's head so that its lower part can be bent or widened for placement on the head. As shown in FIG. 7, the two slit edges are spread apart when the hood is in place, the wedge-shaped opening formed being covered by an elastically stretchable fabric (stretch fabric) 13 fastened to the inside of the hood.
Of course, the lower edge of the hood could also have a plurality of slots which are spaced apart from one another at the rear and on the side of the hood in order to facilitate the expansion of the lower hood. The hood 11 can - like the mask 1 - be lined on the entire inside or only partially with a foam cushion which clings closely to the head of the wearer, and ventilation openings and sound passage openings in the area of the ears can be provided. Furthermore, the hood can have bulges in the area of the ears for receiving headphones.
