Fig. 1 zeigt einen Gelenkverband aus Bauelementen BE mit Gelenkstellen GS in Form eines Flächengebildes FG.
Fig. 3 und Fig. 4 zeigen Ausführungen eines Verbindungsgliedes VGl bzw.

The invention relates to a deformable surface or spatial structure.
From articulated, e.g. Flat or plate-shaped components existing structures that extend in one dimension or in two or three dimensions of the room can be used, for example. as a chain-shaped connection or power transmission means for technical purposes, as a decorative or cladding means, especially for purposes of architecture and especially interior design. For such flat structures, the use as floor coverings, wall hangings, room dividers and suspended ceiling cladding should be mentioned, especially in the latter case, additional components in the third dimension in the form of suspensions or additional flat structures to form articulated spatial structures with special aesthetic but also technical effects being able to lead.
In the mentioned and other applications, the pivoting mobility of the components relative to one another about at least one axis, preferably about two axes arranged at right angles to one another, is important. Such mobility enables the line, surface or spatial structure to be adapted to largely any predetermined shapes and a change in this shape, for example for variable space dividers or the like. Most of these applications have in common the large number of components and associated articulated connections within the structure, which is why a simple and inexpensive production and assembly possibility of the components within the structure is desired. The requirement of simplicity applies above all to the articulated connections and their elements, which are present on each component several times and therefore in total in a particularly large number.
The object of the invention is therefore to create a deformable flat or spatial structure with a simple structure and the same mounting option. The solution to this problem according to the invention is characterized by the features of claim 1.
The axle body, which is then provided in connection with an especially ring-shaped or fork-shaped joint part, permits swinging with simple manufacture and assembly
Kung adjacent components against each other around an axis directed generally transversely to the connecting line of the components according to the arrangement of the axle body, while pivoting around the connecting line of the components or an axis substantially parallel to this are made possible by elastic torsional deformation of the connecting member or also by means of a special articulation point can.
The invention is further illustrated by the examples shown in the drawings. Herein shows:
1 is a flat structure with components and articulated connections according to the invention,
2 shows a partial cross section of an articulated connection from FIG. 1, according to the section plane II-II there,
3 and 4je show an embodiment of a connecting link according to the invention,
5 and FIG. 6 a flat component with a special axle body for an articulated connection in cross section according to plane V-V or in plan view,
7 shows a further embodiment of an axle body in cross section on a flat component,
8 shows a partial cross section of a component of greater thickness with an axle body,
9 shows an axle body formed in one piece on a sheet metal component in cross section and
Fig.
10 and FIG. 11 an articulated connection with a displaceable axle body in partial cross-section or in plan view.
Fig. 1 shows an articulation of components BE with articulation points GS in the form of a sheet FG.
According to FIG. 2, the articulated connection has a dumbbell-shaped double-articulated connecting link VG with two fork-shaped articulated parts GE and corresponding articulated axes XX, which are each assigned to an axle body GB.
The axle body is inserted through a circumferential recess UA into the joint element with elastic deformation of a clamping member KG which is integrally formed on the connecting member. The joint element then swivels on the axle body, which is surrounded by the joint part on more than half of its circumference and therefore carries it secured against transverse displacement. Pivoting about an axis ZZ parallel to the connecting line YY of the adjacent components BE is possible by designing the connecting member or its middle part in an elastically soft manner.
The dashed line in FIG. 2 shows a ring-shaped closed joint part GEa, for the assembly of which according to FIG. 1 displaceable axle bodies GBa are to be provided.
3 and FIG. 4 show designs of a connecting member VG1 or VG2 with double or single joint and separately attached, resilient clamping element KF1 or
KF2 and with screw connection VS for the swivel bearing around the connecting line axis YY. This version is particularly suitable for production from metal using spraying or pressing technology.
The resilient clamping elements are each arranged on that side of the hinge part or the associated circumferential recess UA which, when the connection is subjected to a tensile load, i.e. with respect to a mutual removal of the components, is strain relieved. In this way, the side of the joint parts that is subjected to bending can be made rigid and sufficiently rigid without impairing the function of the latching connection.
4 is connected directly to a component BE by the screw connection VS.
Figures 5 to 9 show easily understandable designs of partially integrally molded onto a component BE1 to BE4 or placed on them (Fig. 7) axle bodies for insertion into joint parts GE with latching connection. The axle body designs GB 1 and GB2 project beyond the thickness of the associated component, while the in particular e.g. GB3 suitable for wood is aligned with the component thickness and has only broken edges as an approximation of a curve. The joint parts move in all cases in receiving or
Guide slots FS of the associated components. The GB4 version is intended for production by circularly bending a section of the component made of sheet metal.
10 and 11 has a rigid articulated part GE3 and a longitudinally displaceably mounted axle body GB5 with a preload spring F in a sleeve of the sheet metal component BE5 and a reduced diameter section AS adapted to the circumferential recess UA of the articulated part GE5 for the insertion of the connecting member. For assembly, the axle body is moved in the direction of the axis XX against the spring F until the section AS lies in the area of the slot FS and the forked joint part GE3 can be inserted. The axle beam is then released and locks the joint connection under the action of spring F.
