Abstract

The minute-hand shaft (61.2) is not driven in the normal way by a minute drive which is connected via a friction device to the time-keeping minute wheel, but by a drive (61) which is operationally connected via a train to one half (22) of an adjusting device which, by means of springs, magnets (21.1, 22.1) or electrical means, enables stepwise, independent movement of the hour hand in integer time units, this half (22) of the adjusting device being coupled via the aforementioned means (21.1, 22.1) to the other half (21) which receives the drive via a gear train from the time-keeping wheel. Wheel arrangements for hand drive mechanisms are shown in which the adjusting device of the hour hand is disposed either on the axis of the hand shafts or of the change wheel or auxiliary hands are moved. With twice as many adjusting steps as hours or with a corresponding reduction in the change wheel, the hands can be moved in half-hour steps. <IMAGE>
