Abstract
The reel includes a drum formed from segments (4) which are articulated circumferentially so as to be able to retract, in the general shape of a truncated cone, in order to permit the winding or the unwinding of a bound metal coil. Each segment pivots, by means of a linkage lever (5), about a pin (2) rigidly attached to one of the flanges (3). <IMAGE>

REVENDICATIONS
1. Touret cylindrique, à tambour rétractable en forme générale de tronc de cône, pour l'enroulement et le déroulement de ruban de métal à façonner ou façonné en forme de couronne ligaturée, caractérisé en ce que le tambour est formé de segments longitudinaux égaux et également espacés, articulés circonférentiellement, chacun pivotant par l'intermédiaire d'un levier de liaison autour d'un axe attenant à la face extérieure d'une des joues dudit touret, les leviers de liaison passant au travers d'orifices aménagés dans ladite joue.
2. Touret selon la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce que les axes de rotation des leviers solidaires des segments sont attenants au moyeu du touret.
3. Touret selon l'une des revendications I ou 2, caractérisé en ce que chaque segment est venu d'une seule pièce avec le levier correspondant, et en ce que la joue comportant les orifices est venue d'une seule pièce avec le moyeu.
On connaît déjà des dispositifs permettant de faire varier le diamètre du tambour d'un mandrin ou d'un dévidoir, selon une génératrice s'écartant radialement de l'axe de rotation, parallélement à cet axe. Ce type de construction est intéressant également dans le cas de tourets, pour autant que les exigences soient élevées en ce qui concerne la plage d'adaptation des diamètres initiaux d'enroulement. En revanche, lorsqu'on a affaire à du ruban de métal, façonné ou à fa çonner en couronne, convenablement ligaturé sur un équipement adéquat, I'expérience montre qu'une construction simplifiée des tourets d'enroulement et de déroulement, sans complication des articulations, est suffisante, permettant ainsi de réduire les coûts de fabrication et d'entretien des installations.
Le touret, objet de la présente invention, est défini dans la revendication 1.
Ses particularités seront mieux comprises à la lecture de la description qui suit d'un exemple de réalisation, faite en référence au dessin dans lequel:
la fig. 1 est une vue en coupe longitudinale d'un touret, et
la fig. 2 est une vue en coupe transversale du même touret.
La fig. 1 montre par exemple une coupe combinée du touret dans son état ouvert avec tambour rétracté, et dans son état fermé avec tambour ramené à l'état cylindrique, nécessaire à l'enroulement et au déroulement du ruban métallique en couronne. Dans la demicoupe située au-dessus du trait d'axe de rotation du touret, la joue amovible 10 a été retirée. Sous l'influence du ressort de traction 7, le levier 5 vient buter contre le tube central 6, déterminant ainsi la pente de rétraction du segment 4, solidaire du levier 5, par pivotement autour de l'axe 2, lui-même solidaire de la joue 3. On peut alors introduire la couronne façonnée et ligaturée.
Dans la demi-coupe située au-dessous du trait d'axe de rotation du touret, la joue amovible 10 est serrée contre le moyeu 8, par exemple au moyen de la vis 11. Sous l'influence de l'inclinaison donnée à l'élément de centrage 9, le segment 4 est venu en position parallèle à l'axe de rotation, sans dépassement, puisqu'en butée contre la face interne de la joue 3.
La fig. 2 montre schématiquement une disposition des axes de pivotement par rapport aux leviers d'articulation, aux segments et à une des joues, selon une vue dans l'axe de rotation du touret.

CLAIMS
1. Cylindrical drum, with retractable drum in the general shape of a truncated cone, for winding and unwinding metal tape to be shaped or shaped into a ligated crown shape, characterized in that the drum is formed of equal longitudinal segments and also spaced apart, articulated circumferentially, each pivoting by means of a connecting lever around an axis adjoining the external face of one of the cheeks of said reel, the connecting levers passing through orifices arranged in said cheek .
2. Reel according to claim 1, characterized in that the axes of rotation of the levers integral with the segments are adjacent to the hub of the reel.
3. Reel according to one of claims I or 2, characterized in that each segment came in one piece with the corresponding lever, and in that the cheek having the orifices came in one piece with the hub .
Devices are already known which make it possible to vary the diameter of the drum of a mandrel or of a reel, according to a generator deviating radially from the axis of rotation, parallel to this axis. This type of construction is also interesting in the case of reels, provided that the requirements are high as regards the range of adaptation of the initial winding diameters. On the other hand, when we are dealing with metal tape, shaped or shaped into a crown, suitably ligated on an adequate equipment, experience shows that a simplified construction of the winding and unwinding drums, without complication of the joints, is sufficient, thus reducing the costs of manufacturing and maintenance of the installations.
The reel, object of the present invention, is defined in claim 1.
Its particularities will be better understood on reading the following description of an exemplary embodiment, made with reference to the drawing in which:
fig. 1 is a view in longitudinal section of a drum, and
fig. 2 is a cross-sectional view of the same drum.
Fig. 1 shows for example a combined section of the reel in its open state with retracted drum, and in its closed state with drum returned to the cylindrical state, necessary for the winding and unwinding of the metal ribbon in a crown. In the semi-cut located above the axis of rotation of the reel, the removable cheek 10 has been removed. Under the influence of the tension spring 7, the lever 5 abuts against the central tube 6, thus determining the retraction slope of the segment 4, secured to the lever 5, by pivoting around the axis 2, itself secured to cheek 3. We can then introduce the shaped and ligated crown.
In the half-section located below the axis of rotation of the reel, the removable cheek 10 is tightened against the hub 8, for example by means of the screw 11. Under the influence of the inclination given to the centering element 9, the segment 4 has come into position parallel to the axis of rotation, without overshoot, since it abuts against the internal face of the cheek 3.
Fig. 2 schematically shows an arrangement of the pivot axes with respect to the articulation levers, the segments and one of the cheeks, according to a view in the axis of rotation of the drum.
