REVENDICATIONS

CLAIMS
1. Dam element intended to maintain a higher water level in the upstream part of a lake or a river than in the downstream part, comprising at least one retaining panel articulated at the bottom of the river, or lake, along one of its transverse edges, characterized in that the panel is provided with a water guide mounted on its other transverse edge to dampen the noise of the waterfall.
2. A barrier element according to claim 1, characterized in that the water guide is made integral with the other transverse edge of the panel and forms an angle with this panel.
3. barrier element according to claim 1, characterized in that the water guide is hingedly mounted along the other transverse edge of the retaining panel.
4. barrier element according to claim 1, characterized in that the retaining panel is associated with a hydraulic cylinder, intended to raise it from an inactive position at the bottom of the water in an active position for retaining the 'water.
5. barrier element according to claims 1 and 3, characterized in that the water guide is associated with a hydraulic cylinder making it possible to deploy it between an inactive position, folded under the retaining panel, and an active position in which it forms an angle with the retaining panel.
The subject of the invention is a dam element intended to maintain a higher water level in the upstream part of a lake or a river than in the downstream part, comprising at least one pan.
restraint hinged at the bottom of the river or lake, along a
of its transverse edges.
Such barrier elements comprising hinged panels
substantially at the bottom of the water are known. They do, however,
the disadvantage, when they are erected in the active restraint position
of water, causing a noisy waterfall.
In order to remedy this drawback, the barrier element according to
the invention is characterized in that the panel is provided with a guide
water mounted on its other transverse edge to dampen the noise of the
waterfall.
The attached drawing shows schematically and by way of example
ple an embodiment of the barrier element according to the invention.
The only figure in the drawing represents the dam element seen from
profile, with cutouts, in active water retention position.
The barrier device comprises one or more panels I
articulated along one of their transverse edges to pivots 2
sealed on a concrete base 3, located at the bottom of the water. Cylinders
hydraulic 4, mounted in the base 3, ensure the pivoting of
each of the panels I in the upright position, by means of rollers 5 mounted on either side of the latter along their
side edges. To do this, the free ends 6 of the pistons 7 of the
cylinders 4 bear against the rollers 5. A water guide 8 is articulated
butted by one of its transverse edges to the free transverse edge of
each panel 1. Hydraulic cylinders 9 are mounted on either side and
other of each panel 1 between the side edges of these
and those of the water guide 8 associated with them to ensure its deployment
is lying.
In operation, the panels 1, initially resting on the
bottom of the water with their water guide 8 folded against one of their
faces, as shown in phantom, are erected in position
active water retention by hydraulic cylinders 4. In a second
time, the water guide 8 is deployed by the jacks 9 of the required angle
to ensure maximum damping of the sound of the waterfall.
