Abstract

The case body (1) is equipped with a latching unit (2) consisting of an annulus-shaped piece made of stamped thin sheet metal. The upper edge of this piece serves as latching rib for the bezel (17) whilst its inside edge supports the movement (4). The piece (2) is fixed to the case body (1) in a removable manner by the pipes (13) and the screws (14). The glass (21) is held in place by the inner rim (20) of the bezel and rests on the overhang ring (22). This arrangement makes it possible to simplify the machining of the bezel and of the case body (1). It allows for varied surface conditions on the outer faces of the pieces of the case. <IMAGE>
