Abstract

The body (1) and the back (2) of the watch case are made in one piece with a peripheral fin (5). Annular fins (7, 8) are threaded onto the body (1) with interposition of two spacing rings (10, 11). The bezel (3) carrying the glass (4) is solid with a peripheral fin (6). A spacing ring (9) is arranged between this fin (6) of the bezel and the neighbouring annular fin (7). Screw means (12, 14, 14a) provide for the assembling of the various parts, whilst a seal (13) is arranged between the bezel (3) and the body (1). This arrangement has the advantage of economical manufacture and of making it possible to dispense with horns in the case of a wristwatch, and enables the case to be removably fixed, without employing a tool, to a support such as a dashboard. <IMAGE>
