PATENTANSPRÜCHE
Fig. 1 eine perspektive Darstellung des Cheminée-Einsatzes;
Fig. 2 eine Seitenansicht des Cheminée-Einsatzes.

2. Fireplace insert according to claim 1, characterized in that the air throttle (8) is designed as a pivotable air flap with which the fresh air supply can be throttled.
3. Cheminee insert according to claim 2, characterized in that in the fan box (5) from the outside accessible electrical regulating members (9) for the fan motor and actuating member for air throttle members (12) and the air flap (8) are installed.
4. Fireplace insert according to claim 1, characterized in that blind-like, adjustable air throttle elements (12) are present behind the room air inlet opening (6).
The invention relates to a fireplace insert for supplying air to the fireplace.
The object of the invention is to provide a fireplace insert, with which fireplace fireplaces of different designs can be supplied in an adjustable ratio in the simplest possible way using a fan, using both indoor air and fresh air.
The invention with which this object is achieved results from patent claim 1.
This makes it possible, with comparatively little effort, to supply air to a fireplace at the fireplace which, depending on the temperature conditions, has a greater or lesser proportion of room air and fresh air. In addition, this fireplace insert is suitable for installation in different types of chemistry, since the pipe bend to be connected to the furnace floor can be rotated and a structural adjustment essentially only requires different pipe lengths. Standard prefabrication is therefore also possible.
In the drawing, an embodiment of the subject of the invention is shown. Show it:
Figure 1 is a perspective view of the fireplace insert.
Fig. 2 is a side view of the fireplace insert.
A fireplace 1 of a type known per se is provided with a furnace base 2 and a smoke vent 11. The air is supplied through a pipe bend 3, which is fastened at the bottom of the firing tray 2 and can be rotated about a vertical axis, from which a flexible pipe section 4 projects, which opens into a fan box 5. In the furnace floor 2 there is a cavity in which the air supplied from the pipe bend 3 circulates, heats up, rises through channels on the rear wall and exits through openings in the vicinity of the lintel 14.
Inside the ventilator box 5 there is a fan and drive motor. Furthermore, the fan box 5 is provided with a room air inlet opening which is closed at the front by a grille 6. In addition, a lateral fresh air inlet connection 7, in which an adjustable air flap 8 is located, opens into this fan box 5. With the help of the adjustable air flap 8, the supply of fresh air can be throttled. The setting is made with the aid of flap actuators 16 on the front of the room air inlet opening. Behind the grille 6, blind-like air throttle elements 12, which can be adjusted by actuating elements 15, are installed in the room air inlet duct.
Since the fan, the air flap 8 and the inlet connections for the room air and fresh air are thus combined in a single housing, this air supply device can be easily adapted to the respective structural conditions by selecting different pipe lengths or adjusting the angle of rotation of the pipe bend 3. The electrical and mechanical regulating elements for the fan and the air flap 8 or air throttling elements 12 can be produced inexpensively, since the connecting elements remain short because they also have space in the fan box 5.
Depending on the weather conditions, the proportion of indoor / fresh air supplied can be changed. In particular, if the outside temperature is very low, it will be advisable to reduce the amount of fresh air in favor of the amount of room air in order to avoid excessive cooling at the fireplace. On the other hand, when the outside temperature is relatively mild, it may be desirable to supply a relatively large proportion of fresh air to the fireplace.
