PATENTANSPRÜCHE

PATENT CLAIMS
1.Device for changing the delivery flow of a positive displacement pump with little loss by periodically chopping the delivery flow into two variable parts, one of which is supplied to a consumer as useful flow and the other is discharged as return flow without pressure, with a valve arrangement intended for connection to the outlet of the pump, which contains a two-lip rotary orifice arranged in a bore in the body of the valve arrangement and which periodically alternates the delivery flow of the pump alternately with a useful line containing at least one non-return valve and intended for connection to the consumer or for connection to an unpressurized storage tank of the pump Return line feeds, the rotary orifice two of it temporarily covered and thus closed,
opposing backflow nozzles are assigned, so that the shaft of the rotary orifice is hydrostatically relieved, and wherein the edges of the rotary orifice have cutting angles in order to mill the mouths of the backflow orifices during operation and thereby cause an optimal gap between the rotary orifice and the backflow orifices, characterized in that that the valve seat of the check valve is labyrinthine in order to reduce the valve lift required for the passage of the full flow.
2. Device according to claim 1, characterized in that each return flow nozzle is associated with a check valve connected to the utility line for the consumer.
3. Apparatus according to claim 2, in which the ends of the backflow nozzles facing away from the rotary orifice have flanges, characterized in that the check valves are embedded in the flanges of the backflow nozzles.
4. Apparatus according to claim 2 or 3, in which the backflow nozzles have shafts provided with longitudinal bores, characterized in that connection bores which feed the flow flow open directly into the bores of the backflow nozzle shafts and the ends of the backflow nozzle shafts facing away from the mouths of the backflow nozzles as valve seats for the check valves are trained.
The invention relates to a device according to the preamble of claim 1. Such a device is known from Swiss Patent 594 137.
The sound level of the known device, in the event that the return flow nozzles have the round openings which are simple in terms of production technology, cannot be brought below a value of 80 dB (A) during operation, since the sound pressure peaks are converted into an acoustic signal by lines and the pump body.
The present invention aims to reduce the emitted sound without causing a loss in the efficiency of the change in the flow rate.
To achieve this object, the device according to the invention is characterized in that the valve seat of the check valve is labyrinthine in order to reduce the valve lift required for the passage of the full flow.
Since the measure according to the invention for the passage of the full flow rate requires a smaller valve stroke of the check valve than with a conventional round valve seat, the switching pressure peaks are reduced and thus the noise level is reduced.
The effect of the measure according to the invention can be further supported by assigning a non-return valve connected to the useful line for the consumer to each return flow nozzle instead of providing only a single, common non-return valve according to Swiss Patent 594 137. It is thereby achieved that the columns of the flow between the check valves and the displacement pump to be accelerated or braked during the switching phases caused by the rotary orifice are reduced. The check valves are advantageously embedded in flanges of the backflow nozzles.
Then the pump flow in the body of the valve arrangement is to be guided in such a way that it flows into the bores of the shafts between the mouths of the shafts with longitudinal bores having longitudinal bores and the check valves, the ends of the backflow nozzle shafts remote from the mouths of the backflow nozzles being designed as valve seats for the check valves are.
An embodiment of the subject matter of the invention is explained below with reference to the drawing, which in the single figure shows an axonometric section through the nozzles of a device in which a check valve is assigned to each of the two return flow nozzles.
In accordance with Swiss Patent 594 137, a valve body 1 is provided to be flanged to an indicated pump 3, a gear pump. The liquid flow emanating from the pump 3, indicated by an arrow, is pressed via connection bores 4 and 4 'directly into bores 6 and 6' of a respective nozzle shaft, the nozzle shafts having nozzle openings 7 and 7 'facing each other.
If the nozzle openings 7, 7 'of orifices 8, 8' with orifice edges 22 (only one visible in the figure) of a rotary orifice are closed with an orifice sleeve 13, the liquid flow finds its way to a consumer connection 9 directly via the springs 11, 11 'loaded check valves 12 and 12', which are embedded in flanges 5, 5 ', with which the nozzle shafts are provided, and which are centered by guide holes 26, 26' inserted in sealing caps 25, 25 '. However, if the nozzle openings 7, 7 'are free, the liquid flow flows into the cavity located between the orifice sleeve 13 and a valve bore 14, from where it is discharged without pressure via a tank line (not shown).
The diaphragm sleeve 13 with the diaphragms 8, 8 'is axially displaceable and torque-transmitting connected on a drive shaft 16 provided with a pulley 21, which is indicated by arrows.
At the moment when the diaphragm edges 22 close the nozzle opening 7, 7 ', the check valves 12, 12', which were previously closed by the consumer pressure 9 at the consumer connection and the springs 11, 11 ', must open immediately. The overpressure of the check valves 12, 12 'required for acceleration until the necessary flow cross section is released is part of the switching pressure peak and must be reduced for various reasons, in particular with regard to the sound level.
In principle, this could be done by reducing the weight of the check valves 12, 12 '. However, since only little can be changed in the weight of the check valves 12, 12 ', this measure does not bring the desired result.
Instead, the present invention sees labyrinthine valve seats 30 and 30 'of the check valves 12,
12 ', as shown in the figure. The valve seats 30, 30 'are located on the outer ends of the bores 6, 6' of the two nozzle shafts. Due to the labyrinthine design of the valve seats 30, 30 'an extension of the seat length and a reduction of the seat width is achieved with simple means, whereby the stroke of the check valves 12, 12' required to open the corresponding flow cross-section is reduced. This is associated with the dismantling of the
Switching pressure peaks and therefore a reduction in the sound level.
The inventive design of the valve seat of the check valve can also be provided in the device of the Swiss patent 594 137, which only has a single, common check valve. As already mentioned, however, the fact that each of the two return flow nozzles is assigned a check valve results in a reduction in the accelerated masses of the delivery flow and thus a further reduction in the sound level.
