Abstract
The drive element for timing instruments consists of an alloy containing 5 to 70% by weight of cobalt, 20 to 85% by weight of iron, 1 to 30% by weight of chromium, 0.01 to 30% by weight of nickel, 0.01 to 10% by weight of niobium and 0.01 to 5% by weight of vanadium. This alloy can also contain 0.01 to 5% by weight of tungsten or/and molybdenum or/and manganese.
