Fig. 1 einen Längsschnitt durch eine Einsteckmuffenverbindung nach der Erfindung mit zur Hälfte geschnittenem Rohreinsteckende sowie in der linken Hälfte im Zustand kurz nach dem Einschieben des Rohreinsteckendes und in der rechten Hälfte im endgültigen Verbindungszustand, und zwar entlang der Linie B-B in Fig. 2;
Fig. 2 eine Kehrschnittansicht entlang der Linie A-A in Fig. 1.

5. Push-in socket connection according to claim 1, in which the push-in end and push-in sleeve are plastic-coated, characterized in that the sealing sleeve (3) is provided with openings (7) which are distributed over its circumference and are filled by the plastic compound (6) between the push-in end and the sealing sleeve .
The invention relates to a push-in socket connection for pipes, in particular for domestic engineering, according to the preamble of patent claim 1.
It is known to solder or glue non-ferrous metal pipes and plastic-coated metal pipes for building services supply lines at the connection points. Soldering rules out the need to apply heat-insulating layers to pipes and fittings beforehand. In contrast, this is possible when the connection point is bonded, in particular when using chemically reactive adhesives.
Such adhesives, for which reaction resins are generally used, can be cured in a matter of seconds. However, this has the disadvantage that it is no longer possible to dismantle the connection in a very short time. With slowly reacting adhesives or reactive resins, dismantling is temporarily possible, but this has the disadvantage that, during installation on the respective pipeline, faults occur, in particular due to torsion, and the tightness and strength of the connection are impaired before the final connection can.
The invention has for its object to provide a push-in socket connection of the type specified, by its design to take advantage of the slow-reacting adhesive, but to a large extent exclude any impairment of the connection created by torsional stress during assembly. This is achieved according to the invention in that the pipe insertion end is provided at least on its outer circumference with recesses that differ from the circular cross section and the sealing sleeve on its inner circumference is provided with projections that are complementary to the recesses, and that a plastic compound is introduced between the pipe insertion end and the sealing sleeve in such a way that Sealing sleeve and pipe insertion end are locked against rotation against each other.
It can thus be achieved that, after inserting the pipe insertion end into the plug-in sleeve provided with the sealing sleeve, with the addition of the plastic compound which has not yet reacted, the projections of the sealing sleeve enter the indentations of the pipe insertion end sufficiently far due to their elasticity with sufficient displacement of the still soft plastic compound some rotation at least between the pipe insertion end and the sealing sleeve can be largely prevented during assembly. Rather, the projections and indentations can be locked into one another, so that even during assembly when the connection is not yet in a solid state, torsional stresses cannot lead to such a deformation of the connection that the subsequent tightness and strength would be impaired.
The sealing sleeve acting as a locking body expediently consists of a polyethylene which, on the one hand, has sufficient elasticity to displace the plastic mass and, on the other hand, has sufficient strength to ensure the desired locking during assembly.
According to one embodiment of the invention, the indentations of the tube insertion end consist of longitudinal grooves which are wedge-shaped in cross section and the projections of the sealing sleeve consist of longitudinal ribs of complementary shape. This connection form has proven to be particularly expedient, in particular in connection with a reaction resin as a plastic compound, since the longitudinal ribs of the sealing sleeve can penetrate the longitudinal grooves particularly securely and adequately with appropriate displacement of the plastic compound and ensure torsional security during assembly.
Another embodiment according to the invention consists in that at least the pipe insertion end is of polygonal design. In this case, either the sealing sleeve is complementarily shaped on its inner wall, or the elastic deformability of the sealing sleeve is sufficient to achieve torsional security in conjunction with the polygonal design of the pipe insertion end, and always in connection with the plastic mass introduced.
According to a further embodiment of the invention, at least the pipe insertion end is coated with a plastic and the plastic mass consists of a reaction resin which reacts intimately fusing with the plastic coating. After inserting the pipe plug-in end, the indentations of the pipe plug-in end and the projections of the sealing sleeve come into contact with one another in each case, and then the reaction resin with the plastic coating reacts in such a way that there is a homogeneous plastic body in the entire annular space between the plug-in sleeve, the sealing sleeve and the pipe plug-in end. which significantly increases the tightness and strength of the connection.
The plastic coating expediently consists of ethylene butyl styrene and the reaction resin consists of a copolymer, in particular a two-component system, which melts to an intimate mass with the plastic coating and thus solidifies.
In the connection according to the invention, a non-adhesive sealing sleeve can also be combined in connection with an adhesive coating of the pipe insertion end in order to achieve the desired torsional security. In addition, it can be expedient to roughen the tube inserted to increase the adhesion, in particular to provide it with knurling.
Are the tube insertion and the insertion sleeve plastic coated, e.g. B. with the aforementioned plastic, it may also be useful if the sealing sleeve is provided with openings arranged around its circumference, which are filled with the plastic mass. This results in an additional material and form fit with secure anchoring between the plastic coating of the pipe insertion end, the sealing sleeve over its opening and the plastic coating of the insertion sleeve.
Details and advantages of the invention emerge from the following description of an exemplary embodiment with reference to the drawing. Show it:
1 shows a longitudinal section through a push-in socket connection according to the invention with the pipe insertion end cut in half and in the left half in the state shortly after the insertion of the pipe insertion end and in the right half in the final connection state, namely along the line B-B in FIG. 2;
FIG. 2 is an inverted sectional view taken along line A-A in FIG. 1.
The push-in sleeve connection consists of the push-in sleeve 2 of one pipe and the pipe push-in end 1 of the other pipe. Held in the insertion sleeve 2 and receiving the tube insertion end 1, an elastic sealing sleeve 3 is held in the annular space provided for this purpose.
As the drawing shows, the pipe insertion end 1 is provided on its outer circumference with recesses that deviate from the circular cross section, namely with cross-sectionally wedge-shaped longitudinal grooves 4. The sealing sleeve 3 is in turn on its inner circumference, ie towards the pipe insertion end 1, with complementary portions 4 Provide projections 5, in the exemplary embodiment with longitudinal ribs 5.
A plastic compound 6 is introduced between pipe insertion end 1 and sealing sleeve 3 such that sealing sleeve 3 and pipe insertion end 1 are locked against rotation via the longitudinal grooves 4 and the projections 5 and the plastic compound 6, as is shown in particular by the cross section according to FIG. 2, but also that right half of Fig. 1 with the final state of the connection.
Both the pipe insertion end 1 and the insertion sleeve 2 are expediently coated with plastic, as the drawing clearly shows. The plastic mass 6 then suitably consists of a reaction resin which reacts intimately fusing with the plastic coating.
As can be seen from FIG. 1, the sealing sleeve 3 is also provided with openings 7 which are distributed over its circumference and are filled with the plastic compound.
The left half of FIG. 1 shows the connection shortly after the pipe insertion end 1 has been pushed in. The plastic mass 6 initially introduced into the annular space initially fills the entire annular space. Shortly thereafter, the longitudinal ribs 5 of the sealing collar 3 according to FIG. 2 insert into the longitudinal grooves 4, displacing the still soft plastic mass, so that the desired locking is secured against rotation, as the drawing in particular in the right half of FIGS. 1 and clearly shows in Fig. 2.
The plastic compound 6 completely fills the upper annular space of the push-in socket connection and the openings 7 and reacts with the plastic coating of the pipe plug-in end 1 and push-in socket 2 in such a way that a self-contained plastic body is formed and the entire push-in socket connection is tight and tight and locked against rotation.
The sealing sleeve 3 serving as a locking body expediently consists of polyethylene, the plastic coating of the tube insertion end and the insertion sleeve expediently from an ethylene butyl styrene and the plastic mass 6 expediently from a reaction resin, namely a copolymer, expediently from a two-component plastic. To increase the liability, the pipe insertion end 1 can be roughened, in particular knurled, and corresponding measures can also be provided for the insertion sleeve 2 if necessary. Since the sealing sleeve 3 is expediently already firmly inserted into the insertion sleeve 2 by the manufacturer, the described deformations of the pipe insertion end 1 and projections of the sealing sleeve 3 are sufficient for securing against torsion.
In difficult applications, it would of course be possible to provide the inner wall of the push-in sleeve 2 with indentations and the outer wall of the sealing sleeve 3 with projections complementary thereto.
