Abstract

The chronocomparator periodically measures the slide in frequency between a standard signal R1, delivered by a standard oscillator (1) via a divider (2), and a signal M1 corresponding to the frequency of the timepiece to be measured. The measurement sequence is determined by an auxiliary signal So periodically resetting the divider (2) to zero.
