Abstract
The mechanism includes an hour wheel (6) mounted freely on a bearing surface (9) of a star (10) including a tube (11) on which the hour hand is set. The hour wheel (6) is linked to the star (10) by a satellite (5) and a click (13) pushed by a spring (14) against the teeth of the star (10). The satellite (5) meshes with the inner toothing (4) of a crown (1) whose outer toothing (2) meshes with an intermediate wheel (3) driven by the time-setting stem in a specified position of the latter. In this position, the hour wheel being blocked by the pinion (7) of the minute wheel (8), the crown (1), through its inner toothing (4), causes the satellite (5) to rotate about its axis, thus prompting the rotation of the star. The click (13) allows the teeth of the star to pass through in jumps of a twelfth of a revolution. <IMAGE>
