Abstract
In order to produce a glued dowel connection of a plurality of wooden parts, the connection is first of all set up in the dry state with one or more dowels inserted in the dry state into prepared bores. Thereafter, a measured dose of glue or liquid plastic is pressed through a prepared line which is in connection with the dowel bore or all the dowel bores. The glue or liquid plastic passes through the line into the dowel bore or bores and, therein, along the dowel or dowels into the dowel bore or bores of the other wooden part or parts. Unlike the process according to the main patent, the glue or liquid plastic is pressed, via the abovementioned line, radially into the dowel bore or bores.

PATENTANSPRUCH

PATENT CLAIM
Process for the production of a glued dowel connection of several wooden parts, in which the connection is first made dry with one or more dry inserted dowels. and then, under pressure, a measured dose of glue or liquid plastic via a line to be installed in at least one wooden part, which is connected to the dowel hole or to all dowel holes in the relevant wooden part, into this hole or holes and along the dowel or dowels located therein (n ) is pressed into the dowel hole or bores of the other or further wooden parts, characterized in that said line is arranged to open radially into the dowel hole or bores.
The main patent relates to a method for producing a glued dowel connection of several wooden parts, according to which the connection is first made dry with one or more dry inserted dowels and then a measured dose of glue or liquid plastic under pressure via a line created at least in one wooden part, which is in connection with the dowel hole or with all dowel holes in the relevant wooden part, is pressed into this hole or holes and along the dowel (s) located therein into the dowel hole or holes of the other or further wooden parts.
This method has the advantage that the previous, laborious introduction of glue into each dowel hole before the dowels are then hammered in, as well as reworking to remove the glue that often escapes in this process, are avoided.
In the embodiment explained in more detail in the main patent, the riser for pressing the glue into the dowel holes of one wooden part and along the dowels located therein into the dowel holes of the other wooden part and possibly other wooden parts is arranged so that it is behind the inner ends of the dowels created blind holes in a wooden part, in such a way that it cuts the rear ends of these blind holes.
It has now been shown, surprisingly, that for the desired distribution of the adhesive in all dowel holes of all Holi parts involved in the process, it is not necessary to guide the riser for pressing the adhesive in such a way that its axis runs outside the dowel inserted into the dowel holes.
Accordingly, the present additional invention, in a further development of the method according to the main patent, provides that the said line is arranged so that it opens radially into the dowel hole or holes.
The riser is created in such a way that it penetrates the blind bores for receiving the dowels in a wooden part at any point along its length.
This has the significant advantage that less material has to be drilled through and accordingly the riser can be drilled faster and easier.
In order to get from one dowel hole to the next along the riser, the pressed-in glue or liquid plastic has to wander around the dowel that is dry in the dowel hole in question, i.e. squeeze around the dowel through the gap between it and the wall of the dowel hole, It has been shown, however, that despite these baffles, as in the exemplary embodiment of the main patent, all spaces between the dowels and the surrounding walls of the dowel holes of all wooden parts involved are reached by the adhesive in one operation.
