Fig. 1 eine Seitenansicht eines mit einer erfindungsgemässen Pressvorrichtung ausgerüsteten Müllcontainers;
Fig. 2 die Seitenansicht des gleichen Containers, mit angehobener Pressplatte;
Fig. 3 eine Ausführungsvariante einer erfindungsgemässen Vorrichtung, bei welcher der Container unter einem Abwurfschacht angeordnet ist;
The present invention relates to a device for compressing garbage in exchangeable, open-topped containers, with a press plate which can be pivoted by means of a hydraulic or pneumatic piston-cylinder unit.
Devices of the aforementioned type are known which, however, have significant disadvantages. A major disadvantage of known devices is the low penetration depth of the pivotably arranged press plates. Furthermore, it was hardly possible to protect the container against rainwater or the environment against unpleasant smells when not in use. Most of the known designs could also not be used under the known discharge chutes.
In another construction of compression devices, the press plate worked linear-vertical. With this design, particularly dangerous shear edges were created between the container edges and the press plate.
The purpose of the present invention is now to remedy these known disadvantages and to allow simpler, safer work. In a particular embodiment, it is also possible to use the container support, d. H.
that device, which lifts the container during operation, to operate simultaneously with the press plate.
This makes it possible to avoid previous incorrect manipulations by separately actuating the aforementioned container support.
The device according to the invention is characterized in that the press plate is pivotably articulated on a carrier of the device, the pivot point or pivot axis being located inside the container during operation, but the carrier with the press plate can be lifted out of the container.
Thanks to this construction, in which the pivot point of the press plate is inside the container during operation, ideal working conditions for compressing the waste are created.
Preferably, the carrier with the press plate hinged to it can be lifted out of the container by means of a lifting device, for example a purely mechanical lifting device or a hydraulic or pneumatic working cylinder. The carrier with the press plate is expediently attached to a stand on which a lifting device is attached. The lifting device consists, for example, of a double-acting working cylinder, the pressure medium of the working cylinder of the press plate being acted upon during operation in order to counteract the reaction of the pressing force.
Means are expediently provided to lift the container from the ground during operation in order to relieve the container rollers of the pressing force, wherein advantageously the sliding guide of the lifting device is limited in the lower end position by a stop, such that an additional stroke for the said means Lifting of the container actuated. The height of the stop can be adjusted in order to selectively change the working position of the press plate.
The device can also be equipped with a hood for at least partially covering the container opening.
In a particularly simple embodiment of the device, the carrier with the press plate attached to it can be fastened to the upper edge or a wall of the container, for example a stationary hand or motor pump being provided to actuate the working cylinder of the press plate, which via hose connections to the working cylinder is connected.
The invention is explained in more detail below with reference to the embodiments shown in the drawing. In the drawing show:
1 shows a side view of a garbage container equipped with a pressing device according to the invention;
2 shows the side view of the same container, with the pressing plate raised;
3 shows a variant embodiment of a device according to the invention, in which the container is arranged under a discharge chute;
4 shows an exemplary hydraulic diagram for the actuation of a device according to the invention, and
5 shows a particularly simple embodiment of a device according to the invention.
Fig. 1 of the drawing shows a container 1 which is equipped with a device 2 for compressing garbage. This device essentially consists of a pressing plate 3 which is attached to the lower end of a carrier 4 via a hinge 5 so as to be pivotable. The press plate 3 can be pivoted by means of a pneumatically or hydraulically actuated working cylinder 6 in order to compress the garbage filled into the container. The carrier 4 is fastened to a frame 7 which is guided vertically in a stand 8. A further working cylinder 9 is provided for extending and retracting the frame 7 and thus the carrier 4 or the press-in plate 3.
A lifting device 10 is provided under the container 1 in order to easily lift the container off the ground when the device is in operation and thus to free the container rollers 11 from the pressing pressure.
The lifting device 10 is actuated via a lever system 12, 13. In the example shown, the lever 13 is controlled by the working cylinder 9, automatically as soon as the pressing device is in the working position. As soon as the press-in plate 3 or the frame 7 is in the working position, d. H. is in the lowest position, the sliding guide of this lifting device is limited by a mechanical stop, the further supply of the pressure medium causes the actuation of the linkage 13 or 12, and thereby lifts the container 1 from the ground.
When the pressing device is extended from the container, the lifting device 10 and thus the container are automatically lowered.
At the upper end of the frame 7, a hood 14, 15 is provided which allows the container opening to be at least partially covered.
FIG. 2 of the drawing shows the same arrangement as FIG. 1, with the exception that the actual pressing device is shown in the extended position, whereby, as stated above, the container is also automatically placed on the floor. This means that the container can be driven away at any time and replaced with a new, empty container.
In the device described above, the pivot point of the press plate is attached inside the container (during operation). This achieves a particularly advantageous sequence of movements on the press plate 3, i. H. the front edge 16 of the pressing plate 3 pivots past the container edge 17 on the filling side at a safe distance. The remaining danger spots on the side can be covered with cladding sheets 18. The deep swivel or The pivot point of the press plate ensures a deep penetration of the press plate 3 and a correspondingly good compaction of the garbage.
When replacing a filled container with an empty container, the pressing plate 3 must, as mentioned, be lifted out of the container together with the frame 7. The working cylinder 9 used for this purpose simultaneously prevents the frame 7 from being pushed out of the guide in the stand 8 during the pressing process (instead of any manual locking).
As already mentioned, the working cylinder 9 is also used to actuate the lever system for lifting the container during operation.
FIG. 3 of the drawing shows a container 19 with a pressing device 21 which is adapted to the shaft 24 of a discharge system. For this purpose, a funnel 20 is connected to the support frame or the stand 24.
The pivotable press plate 22 also carries a cover plate 23 which prevents rubbish from falling from the shaft 24 behind the press plate 22 during the pressing process. With the pivoting of the pressing plate 22, the cover plate 22 also pivots and thereby closes the opening of the funnel 20.
FIG. 4 of the drawing shows, in a simplified manner, an exemplary embodiment of a hydraulic scheme for controlling the in FIGS.
1 and 2 shown device. The press plate of the device is actuated by means of the piston-cylinder unit 25 and controlled via the valve 26. Directly with the pressure line 27, which lies between the central pump 28 and the valve 26, the plunger-side connection 29 of the piston-cylinder unit 30 is connected, which actuates the lifting device. The cylinder connection 31 is connected to the tank 33 via the changeover valve 32. It is thereby achieved that the ram or piston rod side of the working cylinder 30 is subjected to the pressure reached during the pressing process of the press plate. However, this prevents the reaction of the pressing force from being able to push the frame 7 (see FIGS. 1 and 2) out of the sliding guide of the stand 8.
At the same time, a force is also available to lift the container 1 slightly from the ground by means of the lifting device 10 in order, as already mentioned, to relieve the container rollers 11 of the pressing force.
As already explained above, in order to replace a container, the press plate with the associated support and frame must be lifted out of the container.
For this process, the changeover valve 32 is moved into the second switching position. When the pump 28 is actuated, both sides of the piston of the working cylinder 30, i. H. the connection 29 and the connection 31 are acted upon by pressure medium at the same time. For this reason, the piston rod is extended with simultaneous relief or lowering of the lifting device 10 for the container.
Fig. 5 of the drawing finally shows a particularly simple construction in lightweight construction. The pressing device 34, i. H. the press plate 35, which is hinged to the carrier 36, is inserted into the container 37 by hand and locked on the edge of the container by means of a clamping device 38. The working cylinder 39 for actuating the press plate 35 can be driven, for example, via a stationary hand or motor pump. Since in the embodiment according to FIG. 5 the pressing force has to be taken over by the container edge, only lower pressing forces can of course be exerted.
