On connaît déjà des fermoirs de bracelet permettant de régler la longueur de celui-ci. Ils sont généralement dotés de leviers à came dont l'usage journalier les rend rapidement inefficaces. La présente invention a pour objet de fournir un fermoir de bracelet exempt de ces défauts. Le fermoir selon l'invention est caractérisé en ce qu'il comporte une pièce d'extrémité présentant des moyens pour sa fixation permanente à une première extrémité du bracelet, un manchon pour recevoir l'autre extrémité, libre, du bracelet et se fixer sur elle de façon réglable, et une pièce d'arrêt présentant des moyens de solidarisation pour coopérer par engagement sélectif avec ladite autre extrémité du bracelet, lorsque cette pièce d'arrêt et cette dernière extrémité du bracelet sont introduites ensemble, à friction,
dans le manchon qui les maintient dès lors appliquées l'une contre l'autre sans possibilité de mouvement relatif entre elles, et en ce qu'il comporte une butée pour empêcher un retrait fortuit du bracelet hors du manchon, des moyens de fermeture et d'ouverture du bracelet étant prévus pour accrocher à volonté l'un à l'autre le manchon et la pièce d'extrémité et pour les détacher l'un de l'autre.
Le dessin annexé représente, à titre d'exemple, une forme d'exécution du fermoir de bracelet selon l'invention.

Les fig. 2, 3 et 4 sont des vues en perspective de trois des éléments constitutifs du fermoir représenté sur la fig. 1.
On voit en I une extrémité d'un bracelet à laquelle est fixée de façon permanente, par des moyens connus, une pièce d'extrémité 2 sur laquelle est monté pivotant un étrier élastique 3. En 4 on voit le pivot de l'étrier 3. La fig. 4 représente la pièce 2 et l'étrier.
Le fermoir comprend aussi un manchon 5 représenté en perspective sur la fig. 2 et qui comporte une partie concave 10 destinée à venir s'appliquer sur une partie convexe correspondante 6 de la pièce d'extrémité 2 lorsque le fermoir est en position fermée, comme le montre la fig. 1. Ce manchon présente un canal 9 pour recevoir l'autre extrémité 7, libre, du bracelet. Cette extrémité 7 est destinée à être fixée de façon réglable au manchon 5 grâce aux moyens suivants. Cette extrémité 7 du bracelet présente une série de rainures 8, tandis qu'une plaquette 12 représentée en perspective sur la fig. 3 comporte deux nervures 14 de forme complémentaire de celle des rainures 8.
Pour fixer l'extrémité 7 du bracelet dans le manchon dans la position correcte correspondant au tour du poignet de l'usager, on procède de la façon suivante: on enfile tout d'abord l'extrémité 7 du bracelet dans le canal 9 dans le sens de gauche à droite sur la fig. 1, de façon que l'ensemble des rainures 8 se trouve à droite de ce manchon. On applique alors la plaquette 12 contre cette extrémité 7 de façon sélective, c'est-à-dire pour que les deux nervures 14 s'engagent dans deux des rainures 8 préalablement choisies. Ceci fait, on tire en arrière l'ensemble de l'extrémité 7 et de la plaquette 12 pour qu'il s'engage à friction dans le canal 9 jusque dans la position représentée sur la fig. 1, pour laquelle un arrêt 13 prévu sur la plaquette vient buter contre le manchon 5 afin d'empêcher tout mouvement de retrait fortuit de cette extrémité 7 hors du manchon.
Dès lors, I'extrémité 7 est fixée dans la position correcte sur le manchon 5 et le fermoir est prêt à être utilisé.
Lorsque le bracelet est fermé, comme on le voit sur la fig. 1,
I'étrier élastique 3 est engagé dans une encoche 11 du manchon.
Pour ouvrir le fermoir, il suffit de dégager cet étrier de cette encoche pour que le manchon et la pièce 2 se séparent. Bien entendu, c'est l'élasticité de l'étrier 3 qui permet l'engagement et le dégagement de cet étrier dans la fente ou cran 11.
Dans une variante, où le bracelet serait en matière telle que du cuir ou du plastique, la plaquette pourrait être simplement munie de pointes que l'on enfoncerait dans la matière du bracelet à l'endroit voulu pour correspondre au tour du poignet.
On comprend que le manchon 5 empêche tout mouvement relatif entre la plaquette 12 et l'extrémité 7 lorsque ces deux éléments sont engagés à son intérieur et en particulier grâce à la butée 13, I'extrémité 7 du bracelet ne peut pas se dégager sous l'effet de la traction qui s'exerce sur lui lorsque le bracelet est fermé.
REVENDICATION
Fermoir de bracelet, caractérisé en ce qu'il comporte une pièce d'extrémité présentant des moyens pour sa fixation permanente à une première extrémité du bracelet, un manchon pour recevoir l'autre extrémité, libre, du bracelet et se fixer sur elle de façon réglable, et une pièce d'arrêt présentant des moyens de solidarisation pour coopérer par engagement sélectif avec ladite autre extrémité du bracelet, lorsque cette pièce d'arrêt et cette dernière extrémité du bracelet sont introduites ensemble, à friction, dans le manchon, qui les maintient dès lors appliquées l'une contre l'autre sans possibilité de mouvement relatif entre elles, et en ce qu'il comporte une butée pour empêcher un retrait fortuit du bracelet hors du manchon,
des moyens de fermeture et d'ouverture du bracelet étant prévus pour accrocher à volonté l'un à l'autre le manchon et la pièce d'extrémité et pour les détacher l'un de l'autre.
SOUS-REVENDICATIONS
1. Fermoir selon la revendication, caractérisé en ce que lesdits moyens d'ouverture et de fermeture du bracelet comprennent un étrier élastique articulé sur l'une des parties que sont le manchon et la pièce d'extrémité, et un cran prévu sur l'autre de ces parties pour recevoir cet étrier.
2. Fermoir selon la revendication, caractérisé en ce que les moyens de solidarisation sont des saillies prévues sur la pièce d'arrêt, l'extrémité libre du bracelet présentant sur une certaine longueur des creux correspondants pour recevoir ces saillies de façon sélective.
3. Fermoir selon la revendication, caractérisé en ce que les moyens de solidarisation sont des pointes prévues sur la pièce d'arrêt et destinées à s'enfoncer dans la matière de l'extrémité libre du bracelet.
4. Fermoir selon la revendication, caractérisé en ce que la butée est prévue sur la pièce d'arrêt et pour coopérer avec le manchon afin de s'opposer au glissement de cette pièce à l'intérieur du manchon, dans le sens du retrait du bracelet hors de ce manchon.

Bracelet clasps are already known making it possible to adjust the length thereof. They are generally equipped with cam levers whose daily use quickly renders them ineffective. The object of the present invention is to provide a bracelet clasp free from these defects. The clasp according to the invention is characterized in that it comprises an end piece having means for its permanent attachment to a first end of the bracelet, a sleeve for receiving the other end, free, of the bracelet and to be fixed on it in an adjustable manner, and a stopper having securing means to cooperate by selective engagement with said other end of the bracelet, when this stopper and this last end of the bracelet are introduced together, by friction,
in the sleeve which therefore keeps them applied against each other without the possibility of relative movement between them, and in that it comprises a stop to prevent accidental withdrawal of the bracelet from the sleeve, closure means and 'opening of the bracelet being provided to hook at will the sleeve and the end piece and to detach them from one another.

We see at I one end of a bracelet to which is permanently fixed, by known means, an end piece 2 on which is pivotally mounted an elastic stirrup 3. At 4 we see the pivot of the stirrup 3 Fig. 4 shows part 2 and the caliper.
The clasp also comprises a sleeve 5 shown in perspective in FIG. 2 and which comprises a concave part 10 intended to come to rest on a corresponding convex part 6 of the end piece 2 when the clasp is in the closed position, as shown in FIG. 1. This sleeve has a channel 9 to receive the other end 7, free, of the bracelet. This end 7 is intended to be fixed in an adjustable manner to the sleeve 5 by means of the following means. This end 7 of the bracelet has a series of grooves 8, while a plate 12 shown in perspective in FIG. 3 has two ribs 14 of complementary shape to that of the grooves 8.
To fix the end 7 of the bracelet in the sleeve in the correct position corresponding to the circumference of the user's wrist, we proceed as follows: we first put the end 7 of the bracelet in the channel 9 in the direction from left to right in fig. 1, so that all of the grooves 8 are to the right of this sleeve. The plate 12 is then applied against this end 7 selectively, that is to say so that the two ribs 14 engage in two of the previously chosen grooves 8. This done, the assembly of the end 7 and of the plate 12 is pulled back so that it engages frictionally in the channel 9 as far as the position shown in FIG. 1, for which a stop 13 provided on the plate abuts against the sleeve 5 in order to prevent any accidental withdrawal movement of this end 7 from the sleeve.
Therefore, the end 7 is fixed in the correct position on the sleeve 5 and the clasp is ready for use.
When the bracelet is closed, as seen in fig. 1,
The elastic stirrup 3 is engaged in a notch 11 of the sleeve.
To open the clasp, it suffices to release this stirrup from this notch so that the sleeve and part 2 separate. Of course, it is the elasticity of the caliper 3 which allows the engagement and release of this caliper in the slot or notch 11.
In a variant, where the bracelet would be made of a material such as leather or plastic, the plate could simply be provided with spikes which would be driven into the material of the bracelet at the desired location to correspond to the circumference of the wrist.
It will be understood that the sleeve 5 prevents any relative movement between the plate 12 and the end 7 when these two elements are engaged inside it and in particular thanks to the stop 13, the end 7 of the bracelet cannot be released under the effect of the traction exerted on it when the bracelet is closed.
CLAIM
Bracelet clasp, characterized in that it comprises an end piece having means for its permanent attachment to a first end of the bracelet, a sleeve for receiving the other end, free, of the bracelet and to be fixed on it so adjustable, and a stopper having securing means to cooperate by selective engagement with said other end of the bracelet, when this stopper and this last end of the bracelet are introduced together, by friction, into the sleeve, which them therefore maintains applied one against the other without the possibility of relative movement between them, and in that it comprises a stop to prevent accidental withdrawal of the bracelet from the sleeve,
means for closing and opening the bracelet being provided to hook the sleeve and the end piece at will to one another and to detach them from one another.
SUB-CLAIMS
1. Clasp according to claim, characterized in that said means for opening and closing the bracelet comprise an elastic stirrup articulated on one of the parts that are the sleeve and the end piece, and a notch provided on the other of these parts to receive this caliper.
2. Clasp according to claim, characterized in that the securing means are projections provided on the stop piece, the free end of the bracelet having over a certain length corresponding hollows to receive these projections selectively.
3. Clasp according to claim, characterized in that the securing means are spikes provided on the stop piece and intended to sink into the material of the free end of the bracelet.
4. Clasp according to claim, characterized in that the stop is provided on the stop piece and to cooperate with the sleeve to oppose the sliding of this piece inside the sleeve, in the direction of withdrawal of the bracelet out of this sleeve.
