Fig. eine Eine erste Ausführungsform eines Schubkolbenantriebs,
Fig. 2 einen Schnitt nach der Linie II-II in Fig. 1,
Fig. 4 eine zweite Ausführungsform eines Schubkolbenantriebs.
The invention relates to a thrust piston drive with mutually displaceable parts formed from at least one piston and a cylinder and with a flexible, elastic sealing hose which is connected at its ends to the parts and forms a leak-free seal for a working medium.
There are known drip-tight piston drives. In this context, drip-tight is understood to mean that no sliding sealing element is used, since such a sealing element never seals completely, but rather allows pressure medium to escape during the sliding movement, albeit in very small quantities.
In known thrust piston drives, which are completely drip-tight in the sense of the above, the piston is connected to the fixed housing by a membrane. This allows movement between the piston and the housing and a complete sealing of the two parts, but the pressure medium is limited by the use of the diaphragm. This also applies if a rolling diaphragm is used instead of the diaphragm disc.
The object of the present invention is to design a thrust piston drive of the type mentioned in the introduction in such a way that it can be subjected to considerably higher pressures without losing its property of absolute sealing.
This object is achieved according to the invention in that the sealing hose, which is displaceable with respect to the cylinder or piston, is connected to a transition zone which merges into the piston or cylinder and extends in the direction of movement of the piston or cylinder and is supported on a solid and / or flowing liquid sliding layer.
The invention is illustrated in the drawing using two exemplary embodiments and is described below. Show it:
FIG. 1 A first embodiment of a push piston drive,
Fig. 2 is a section along the line II-II in Fig. 1,
FIG. 3 shows an enlarged representation of the point designated by III in FIG. 1 and FIG
4 shows a second embodiment of a push piston drive.
The push piston drive shown in FIG. 1 has a cuboid cylinder 1 (FIG. 2) with a circular cylindrical bore 2. The one end face of the cylinder list completed by a cylinder base 3, z. B. by bolts, not shown, in the four corners of the cylinder cross-section. The gap between the cylinder 1 and the cylinder base 3 is sealed by an O-ring 5 located in a groove 4 of the cylinder 1.
In the cylinder bore 2, a piston 6, which is cylindrical or slightly conical, is mounted with a substantially cylindrical piston rod 7. The piston rod 7 is guided displaceably in a guide bush 8 which in turn is fastened in a clamping piece 9. The clamping piece 9 protrudes through a bore 10 in the cylinder base 3 to the outside and is screwed tight in the cylinder base 3 by means of a nut 11. The clamping piece 9 has a longitudinal channel 12 with mouths 13 through which the working medium, for. B. compressed gas or oil, flows in or out. In the vicinity of the mouths 13, the clamping piece 9 is provided with a spherical thickening 14, which can have beads 15 on its surface.
The spherical thickening 14 of the clamping piece 9 serves to clamp one end of an elastically stretchable, cylindrical sealing hose 17 firmly between the wall of the cylinder bore 2 and the clamping piece 9, while the other end 18 of the sealing hose 17 adheres firmly to the outer circumference of the piston 6, e.g. . B. by vulcanization or gluing.
It is essential that the sealing hose 17 can be supported on the wall of the cylinder bore 2 when the working medium enters the interior of the sealing hose 17 through the longitudinal channel 12 via the mouths 13.
As can be seen from FIG. 3, an annular groove 19 is recessed at the transition between the cylinder 1 and the cylinder base 3 and is connected to the cylinder bore 2 via an annular gap 20. It can also be seen from FIG. 3 that the sealing hose is provided on the outside with a firmly adhering sliding layer 21. As can be seen from FIG. 2, the annular groove 19 is connected to a line 22 which is drilled from the outside into the wall of the cylinder 1 and to which a feed line 23 connects, which is connected in a known manner by means of a pipe screw connection 24 in the cylinder 1 is attached. Lubricant is supplied under pressure through line 23. The same occurs via the annular groove 19 and the annular gap 20 between the sealing tube 17 and the wall of the cylinder bore 2, spreads out on the circumference of the sealing tube 17 and exits on the piston side.
So that the used lubricant can be collected and returned, the piston-side end of the cylinder 1 is provided with a sealing bellows 25, which on the one hand is held in a groove 26, possibly using a clamp, and on the other hand is clamped to the piston 6 with a screw bolt 27.
The sealing bellows 25 is clamped between a cover 28 and a shaped body 29, the latter being supported on a bushing 30 which is guided in a projection 31 of the piston 6.
The lubricant that collects in the interior of the sealing bellows 25 escapes via discharge lines 32, 33 into the open, where it is discharged by means of a line 34 fastened in the cylinder 1 by a screwed pipe connection 24. The drain lines 32, 33 can also be provided elsewhere; they only have to fulfill the function of emptying the interior of the sealing bellows 25.
In FIG. 4, a further embodiment of a thrust piston drive is shown, in which the sealing hose 35 rests against a smooth piston 36 which is rounded at the end. One end 16 of the sealing hose 35 is clamped by a clamping piece 37 which is fastened to the piston 36 by means of a screw bolt 38. The cylindrical part 37 ′ of the clamping piece 37 guides the piston 36. The clamping piece 37 has bores 39 which allow the working medium to pass through to the outside of the sealing tube 35. The other end 18 of the sealing tube 35 is firmly connected to the cylinder edge 40, which is narrowed in relation to the cylinder 41 and the cylinder bore 2.
A bore 43 in the piston 36 serves to feed the working medium, the connection to a pressure source (not shown) being made by means of a pierced screw bolt 42 which also holds a connection part 44 on the piston 36.
The connection part 44 has threaded bores 45, 46 for the connection of lines for the supply or discharge of the lubricant. The connection part 44 has threaded bores 45, 46 for the connection of lines for the supply and discharge of the lubricant. The
Connection part 44 has a bore 47 with an annular groove 48, which is connected by means of two O-rings located in annular grooves 49
50 is sealed. A longitudinal bore 51 arranged in the piston 36 adjoins the annular groove 48 through which the
Lubricant to one end 16 of the sealing hose 35 is passed.
Between the piston 36 and its rounded, sealed by an O-ring seal 52
Head piece 53, a narrow annular gap 54 is formed through which the lubricant can spread between the piston 36 and the sealing tube 35 and emerge at the other end 18 of the sealing tube into the open. A sealing bellows 25 collects the emerging lubricant and conveys it to the drain connection 46 via a line 55.
The screw bolt 38, which holds the clamping piece 37, the one end 16 of the sealing tube 35 and the head piece 53 on the piston 36, is also drilled through so that the working medium supplied can enter the cylinder space and from there through the bores 39 the outside of the sealing tube 35 applied. The cylinder space is closed off by means of a screw cap 56 and sealed with an O-ring seal 57.
The function of the thrust piston drive according to FIG. 4 is the same as that of the embodiment according to FIG. 1, with the difference, however, that the sealing tube 35 adheres firmly to the cylinder and is clamped to the piston.
The thrust piston drive described can work with high operating pressures, for example 100 atmospheres and more. The sealing hose 17, 35, which is expediently made of an elastomer, can, since it is supported on the cylinder wall or on the piston when pressure is applied, have favorable elastic properties, so that the force for the idle stroke is low. The friction between the sealing hose 17, 35 and the cylinder bore 2 or
the piston 36 is extremely small when using the pressure lubrication described, d. H. can be smaller than 0.001. These extremely low coefficients of friction can be explained by the fact that hydrostatic lubrication develops between the sealing hose and the supporting wall, i.e. H. there is practically no contact between the surface of the sealing tube and the surface of the bore 2 or of the piston 36.
Assuming that the working medium can be assumed to be of constant volume under the prevailing operating conditions, the stroke is practically proportional to the amount of pressure medium supplied. This results in interesting application possibilities in control systems for the transmission of switching movements of various kinds. As already mentioned, the use of a lubricant between the sealing hose and the wall of the cylinder bore or the piston allows very low friction values to be achieved. But even without this pressure lubrication, the friction values are relatively low thanks to the sliding layers used, be it on the sealing hose or on the wall of the cylinder bore.
The piston drive described can be used in pairs, for. B. by connecting the two pistons of the thrust piston drives. This gives a double-acting piston drive.
