Abstract

The swarf-removing machine tool has a table and a tool post movable in relation to each other so as to perform an automatic sequence of operations. The table has two jigs spaced apart, each accommodating a workpiece. Either the table (2) or the tool post (13) has a support equipped with a hydraulic pneumatic or electromechanical thruster mechanism. This brings it alternately into two end positions determined by stops, where one or the other of the jigs is in position for machining of the work.
