Fig. 1 einen Axialschnitt durch einen erfindungsgemässen Speicher,
Fig. 2, 3 je ein Detail zu Fig. 1, und
Storage tanks for water have long been in widespread use in industry, trade and the household and usually consist of a welded or riveted boiler.
These storage tanks are difficult to transport, especially if they have a large volume, and when retrofitted in existing buildings can often only be brought to their location by changing these buildings, for example by expanding doors or windows or by breaking out additional openings .
For some time now, the generation of energy from solar energy has received increasing attention. For the use of solar energy for hot water preparation and / or the heating of buildings, systems are known in which water is passed through so-called solar collectors and thus exposed to the thermal radiation of the sun and then fed to a storage tank. The heated water is taken from this for the purpose of hot water preparation and / or heating. If the use of solar energy is to lead to a noticeable reduction in the consumption of classic energy sources, then it must be widespread, and it should also be possible to convert existing buildings with classic heating and / or hot water systems to use solar energy.
However, when installing the storage tank for the heated water, this has the disadvantages mentioned at the beginning.
The invention aims to avoid these disadvantages and relates to a collapsible storage container for liquids, in particular for water.
The storage container according to the invention is characterized by: a) an outer jacket in the form of a cut open cylinder, b) by releasable means for forming a cylinder from the above-mentioned outer jacket that is open at its base and top surface, c) by a cylinder in the base of the open cylinder settable bottom, d) through a sack-shaped and waterproof cover made of pliable material that can be inserted into the interior of the cylinder closed on one side, and e) through a cover that can be placed on the top surface of the cylinder and at least partially covers it.
The storage container according to the invention is easy to transport as it can be dismantled and can be set up at its location without difficulty and with simple means.
The invention further relates to a use of the storage container mentioned as a heat store in a heating and / or hot water preparation system which can be operated with solar energy and in which water heated by solar energy is used as the heat carrier.
This use is characterized in that a cylindrical ring-shaped layer made of heat-insulating material is arranged between the outer jacket and the waterproof cover, and that a base made of heat-insulating material is used.
In the following, the invention is explained in more detail using an exemplary embodiment and the drawing; in the latter show:
1 shows an axial section through a memory according to the invention,
FIGS. 2, 3 each show a detail of FIG. 1, and
4, 5, 6 each show a block diagram of a use of the memory shown in FIG.
1 shows a water storage tank 2 set up on a horizontal, flat floor surface 1. The storage tank 2 consists of a cylindrical outer casing 3, a cylindrical-ring-shaped insulating part 4 inserted into the outer casing 3, a base 5, a base 5 for holding the insulating part 4 in the Area of its upper end serving retaining ring 6, consisting of a pliable casing 7 inserted into the interior space of the store 2 delimited by the insulating part 4 and base 5, and a cover 9 provided on its inside with an insulating coating 8.
The outer jacket 3 has the shape of a cylinder jacket cut open along a generatrix and consists of thin sheet metal, for example 1 mm thick aluminum sheet. This sheet metal jacket is rolled up into a thin roll for transport to the installation site of the store 2 and is therefore extremely easy to transport. At the installation site, said sheet metal roll is unrolled, shaped into the desired cylinder jacket and fixed with releasable means along the jacket cutting line. The insulating part 4 is now pushed into the outer jacket 3 that has been set up in this way. This consists of rigid foam, for example polystyrene or polyurethane, and has the shape of a cylinder jacket formed from a large number of individual segments.
The bottom 5 has the shape of a circular disk consisting of several parts and is also made of rigid foam. This bottom is inserted into the base of the insulating part 4 and thus the memory 2 and secures the individual segments of the insulating part 4 against detachment from the outer jacket 3. In the area of the top surface of the memory 2, the individual segments of the insulating part 4, which are stepped for this purpose Have upper end, held by the correspondingly shaped retaining ring 6 with a rectangular cross-section.
The sheath 7 inserted into the interior of the memory 2 has a sack-like shape and consists of a waterproof material, for example a plastic film or a plastic-coated fabric. The sleeve 7 is fixed to the retaining ring 6, for example glued to it or clamped to it by means not shown.
The height of the insulating part 4 with the retaining ring 6 resting on it is smaller than the height of the outer jacket 3, so that the outer jacket 3 protrudes over the retaining ring 6 and forms a guide edge for receiving the cover 9.
The cover 9 covers at least part of the top surface of the memory 2 and is provided as a carrier for the necessary fittings. The insulating covering 8 attached to the cover 9 is also made of rigid foam.
The thickness of the insulating part 4, the bottom 5 and the insulating covering 8 can vary within wide limits. In the case of a storage tank set up inside a building, for example in its basement, with a capacity of about 2000 liters, corresponding to an outer diameter and an outer height of the tank 2 of about 1.5 m, this thickness is in each case about 60 mm.
In addition to the already mentioned advantages of simple transport and ease of assembly, the memory described has the further advantages of cheap manufacture and a considerable saving in weight compared to conventional memories. This weight saving is at least 80%.
Fig. 2 shows a perspective view of the outer jacket 3 in the area of the cutting line at which it is cut open. As can be seen from the figure, when the outer jacket 3 is set up, the two jacket ends are placed overlapping one another and connected to one another by suitable means 10. The means 10 can be screws or bolts. The mutual spacing of the means 10 is relatively large in the area of the top surface of the reservoir and decreases towards the bottom in accordance with the increasing static pressure of the water inside the reservoir.
FIG. 3 shows a perspective view of the upper part of a segment 11 of the insulating part 4 (FIG. 1), in which the stepped upper end provided for receiving the retaining ring 6 (FIG. 1) can be clearly seen.
4, 5 and 6 show examples of the use of the store 2 shown in FIG. 1 as a heat store in a heating and / or hot water preparation system operated with solar energy. Fig. 4 shows a use of the memory 2 in such a hot water preparation system, Figs. 5 and 6 each show a use in a heating and hot water preparation system.
In Fig. 4, a solar collector 12 is shown in which a tube system, not shown, is embedded. The pipe system represents part of a closed water circuit and is connected via a feed line 13 and a discharge line 14 to a heat exchanger 15 arranged in the lower part of the storage tank 2. In the upper part of the interior of the storage tank 2 filled with water, a boiler 18 provided with a supply line 16 and a discharge line 17 is arranged. The feed line 13 from the heat exchanger 15 to the solar collector 12 contains a pump 19. All fittings, i.e. boiler 18, heat exchanger 15, all lines and the pump 19 are on the cover 9 (Fig.
1) of accumulator 2 mounted
The water heated in the solar collector 12 emits part of its heat to the water in the storage tank 2 via the heat exchanger 15 and is fed back to the solar collector 12. In memory 2, the warm water rises to the top and heats the water in boiler 18, which is not thermally insulated from memory 2. The required hot water is taken from boiler 18 via line 17 from its warmest, namely from its uppermost area.
The example of use of the memory 2 shown in FIG. 5 differs from that shown in FIG. 4 in that a second heat exchanger 20 is arranged in the interior of the memory 2 instead of the boiler 18 (FIG. 4).
The second heat exchanger 20 is connected via a supply line 21 containing a pump 23 and via a discharge line 22 to a combination boiler of a known type, not shown, for heating and hot water preparation.
The functioning of the system is similar to that of the system shown in FIG. However, the heated water rising in the storage tank 2 is not used to heat the water in the boiler 18 (FIG. 4), but to heat the water circulating through the closed system heat exchanger 20 - supply line 21 - combination boiler - discharge line 22 - heat exchanger 20.
The example of use of the store 2 shown in FIG. 6 shows a further development of the system shown in FIG. 5, in which the second heat exchanger 20 of the store 2 is connected to the input of a heat pump 24. The memory 2 serves as a so-called cold memory, the water stored in it has a temperature of about 10 to 40 ° C. The output of the heat pump 24 is connected to a third heat exchanger 25, which heat exchanger is in the lower part of a so-called warm memory
2 'is arranged.
The one stored in the warm storage tank 2 '
Water has a temperature of about 55 to 70 "C. In the upper
Part of the warm storage tank 2 ′ is a fourth heat exchanger 26 which is connected to the heating system and to the hot water system via a supply line 28 containing a pump 27 and via a discharge line 29.
The functioning of the system is similar to that of the system shown in Fig. 5, only the use of the heat pump 24 also allows the use of heat generated at a relatively low temperature level, since this heat is brought to a usable and optimal level for heating and hot water supply by the heat pump is lifted.
