Abstract

The transport conveyor is thermally insulated with panels of expanded polystyrene, or other suitable material. The container has its walls, roof and floor line with a set of panels. The wall panels support the roof panels at the corners. A second layer of panels is applied and arranged so that this inner layer covers the joints between panels in the outer layers. The joints of the inner panels are then covered with seal strips and the floor is covered with a carpet to protect the insulation panels. The arrangement is particularly for use in container vehicles used to transport perishable food etc.
