Hydraulic lifting devices are usually controlled in such a way that the hydraulic fluid is supplied to or removed from the lifting cylinder through electrically switched valves. As with conventional electrical connections, this requires different electrical connections at each stop
Switch by which the speed is gradually reduced and the stopping point is determined. To do this, several valves must be carefully and individually for each one
System can be adjusted and coordinated with each other if an optimal working method is to be achieved.
The inevitable wear and tear on the switching elements occasionally causes malfunctions and requires constant maintenance of such systems.
The invention has the object of avoiding the disadvantages mentioned and of creating a control device which also enables more comfortable driving characteristics by the
The change in speed cannot take place in stages, but rather continuously.
The invention relates to a control device for a hydraulically operated platform, in particular a conveyor cage, with a pump, valves for pressure limitation and return protection and a control valve whose control piston regulates the path of the pressure fluid to the lifting cylinder of the platform.
The invention consists in that a motor is arranged on the control valve, which has a coaxial to and rotatable in
Control piston arranged shaft drives, which is axially displaceable together with the control piston in the control valve, that the shaft carries a threaded pin at its end remote from the motor, which engages in a threaded bushing that is rotatably mounted in the housing of the control valve and in on drive connection with the Platform is in such a way that the rotation of the motor and the movement of the platform each cause an axial displacement of the control piston, which compensate each other so that as a result of a difference formation between the input movement generated by the motor and that generated by the Platform generated return movement on the control piston forms a control position,
through which the pressure required in each case in the lifting cylinder is generated.
Preferably, the motor is an electric stepper motor which is actuated by current pulses, each Stromim pulse a certain angle of rotation of the motor shaft and the
Corresponds to the shaft of the control valve.
This is a numerical control of the
Control device possible, i.e. it can be generated by entering a counted number of pulses, a certain angle of rotation of the shaft of the control valve, so that the platform vorbe certain stroke travels without having to provide special le switches to influence their movement at the stops.
In the single figure of the drawing is an embodiment example of a control device according to the invention for a
Conveyor cage shown schematically.
The function of the control device is based on the
Tax schemes explained.
Pump 1 is switched on when upward travel is selected. In the position shown, the pump delivers the hydraulic fluid during its start-up initially without pressure via a check valve 2 and the line 3 in the drain line 7 to the tank 8. With a slight time delay, the electric stepper motor 9 is switched on after the pump 1, where by the with it through the coupling 28 axially movable GE coupled shaft 10 is rotated. The shaft 10 carries at its left end a threaded pin 11 with a right-hand thread de, the threaded bushes 12 stuck in the nut thread of an initially stationary Ge. Adjusting rings 29 and 30, which transfer the axial movement of the shaft 10 to the control piston 13 without play, are attached to the shaft 10.
If this moves to the left, the drainage opening 14 to the tank 8 is reduced in size until the resulting increasing pump pressure is sufficient to lift the conveyor cage 15 of the elevator. The hydraulic fluid reaches the lifting cylinder 18 via the line 16 and the releasable check valve 17. The conveyor cage 15 starts moving and takes the endless roller chain 19 attached to it with it, whereby the chain wheel 20 of the bypass valve 6 ( 90 shown rotated) and thus the shaft connected to the threaded bushing 12 is rotated in the same direction of rotation as the stepping motor 9, ie the threaded bushing 12 continues to cancel the closing movement of the control piston 13 by its rotation as long as the stepping motor shaft is rotating.
As a result, any relative movement that was initially still present between the threaded pin 11 and the threaded bushing 12 ceases and the control piston 13 assumes a fixed control position with respect to the housing of the control valve 6. This position is preferably selected by limiting the maximum speed of the stepping motor so that almost the entire delivery rate of the pump is consumed when traveling upwards. A loss of a few liters of hydraulic fluid per minute through the drainage opening 14 is accepted so that sufficient hydraulic fluid is still available even if the pump delivery decreases due to decreasing viscosity or wear and the stepper motor does not need to be feared.
If the stepping motor stops from the upward movement, the valve piston 13 moves as a result of the initially still ongoing lifting movement of the conveyor cage 15 from the beginning of its deceleration to the stop in such a way that the drainage opening 14 is increasingly enlarged until finally when the stop is reached The entire pump delivery rate flows through the discharge opening 14, but the liquid pressure for carrying the conveyor cage with its load is maintained. Immediately afterwards the pump is switched off to avoid unnecessary heating of the liquid.
Reliable stopping at the bus stop is brought about by a releasable check valve 17, as has been customary in hydraulic lifting systems up to now.
When driving downwards, the pump 1 is not switched on, but the releasable check valve 17 is released by actuating the solenoid valve 21, for which the liquid pressure prevailing in the cylinder 18 is always sufficient. With a slight time delay, the stepping motor 9 is then switched on, which now runs in the opposite direction.
The downward speed is dictated solely by the speed of the stepper motor, i.e. it can easily be greater than the maximum upward speed dependent on the pump delivery rate.
Even when driving downwards, a stable state is automatically set on the control piston 13, i.e. a size of the discharge opening 14 at which the amount of liquid discharged from the cylinder passes at the respective load pressure and the selected speed.
Two proximity switches 26 and 27, known per se, serve to report any defects. Each of them emits a signal when the web 23 on the valve piston 13 enters the dome-shaped magnetic field of the switch from the side.
This happens e.g. at the switch 26 when the command for upward travel has been given and the stepping motor 9 has started, but the pump 1 does not deliver any pressure oil.
At switch 27 a signal can e.g. triggered when the elevator car cannot follow the command to descend because it is jammed in the shaft. A leaky check valve 17, a leaking cylinder seal, leaky line connections between lifting cylinder 18 and check valve 17, insufficient pump delivery and a defective return (in the case shown, the chain 19) are also signaled by the switches.
The pressure relief valve 24, which can be relieved by means of a small solenoid valve 25, has also been common in hydraulic lifting systems. When the pump is switched on, it is temporarily relieved in order to enable it to start up without pressure. In addition, the valve 24 fulfills a safety function in that it protects the system from overload.
The non-return valve 2 ensures that no liquid can flow off via the then idle pump when traveling downwards.
Instead of the stepping motor, a direct current motor or some other drive element could also be used. The return of the movement of the conveyor cage 15 to the control valve 6 is effected in the illustrated case only, for example, by an endless chain. Instead of them, it could also be a ribbon or a rope. Instead of the chain wheel 20, a friction roller could also be provided, which is driven by the piston or by a rod dragged along by the conveyor cage. Gear and rack or toothed belt or similar elements are also possible. The shut-off valve 22 is used in emergencies, e.g. in the event of a power failure, to lower the conveyor orb by hand.
In order to avoid the destruction of the threaded pin 11 in such a case, the length of the pin and nut thread can be dimensioned such that the thread disengages if the movement is too great in both working directions. It can e.g. can also be of importance during the upward movement, if the electric motor is running, but the conveyor cage stops for whatever reason and the motor shutdown by the proximity switch 26 is not effective either.
The transmission of the axial movement of the shaft 10 to the control piston 13 takes place here only, for example, by the adjusting rings 29 and 30. Rolling bearings or similar machine elements could just as well be used. The coupling of the electric motor 9 to the shaft 10 could also take place via some type of intermediate gear.
