Fig. list eine teilweise geschnittene Seitenansicht einer Vorrichtung zum Aufstapeln von einem unendlichen Band geschnittener Blätter gemäss der Erfindung;
Fig. 2 ist eine Draufsicht auf die Vorrichtung nach Fig. 1;
Fig. 3 ist eine vergrösserte Teilansicht gemäss Fig. 2;
The invention relates to a method and a device for stacking sheets cut from a material strip by means of a cutting device at a stacking point.
The method according to the invention is characterized in that the tape to be cut and / or the cut sheets is partially or completely supported before or after the cutting device by air currents which exert a force on the tape or sheets counter to gravity. The device according to the invention is characterized in that between the cutting device and the stacking point there is at least one distribution point and an intermediate store, that the distribution point is at a higher level than the beginning of the intermediate store, and that the end of the intermediate store is at a higher level than the highest point of the stacking point is.
The device can be specially designed for installation in a machine with medium production capacity because of its possible semi-automatic operation and its possible inexpensive installation and maintenance.
Compared to devices that can be operated manually, it can then provide higher performance and saves manual work by reducing the number of workers. Compared to fully automatic devices, the costs for acquisition, installation and maintenance are significantly lower.
In a preferred embodiment of the method according to the invention, the place for collecting the sheets, the stacking point, can be arranged at a lower level than the cutting point, wherein the stacking point can be displaced somewhat at the same time. The potential energy of the higher-lying sheet can then be used to lead the sheet from the cutting point via a counting point and a deviation point to the stacking point. The sheet slides on an inclined surface due to its parallel weight component. The sheet is prevented from this sliding movement by the weight component perpendicular to the inclined surface. The latter leads to friction that inhibits the movement of the leaf.
According to the invention, the weight component perpendicular to the inclined surface, caused by gravity, is counteracted by air currents and can be lifted, so that the sheet is then only exposed to the weight component parallel to the inclined surface and continues to move along the inclined surface without friction, whereby it a speed of about V2gh with h as the height difference between the cutting point and the stacking point and g as the acceleration due to gravity.
The air currents can be present along the entire sloping surface and exit through perforations in the sloping surface from a chamber below the sloping surface, which is acted upon by one or more fans. The pneumatic pressure on the leaves can also be generated by band-shaped air jets, which can preferably exit from the same chamber via longitudinal slots.
The device can operate continuously.
In technology there are many areas of application in which a raw material that is supplied in rolls cannot be processed directly, but has to be reworked into individual sheets, which are divided into stacks with certain numbers of sheets and formats. The roll-shaped material is often not easy to handle because of its weight, its physical or chemical properties and the format, even if specially trained workers are available in sufficient numbers.
There are automatic devices. However, these have numerous disadvantages, including higher acquisition and maintenance costs than with production facilities with a cutting machine of conventional design.
With the invention, not only can the above-mentioned disadvantages be avoided, but further advantages can also be achieved. Since the installation is simple and causes little costs, it can be carried out by any mechanical workshop, including a purely manual one. The device can be attached to any cutting machine and works semi-automatically, the manual work being limited to the transport of the stacks with a certain number of sheets, since a certain period of time is available during which the sheets cut without interruption are stacked.
The invention is explained in more detail below with reference to schematic drawings of an exemplary embodiment.
1 shows a partially sectioned side view of a device for stacking sheets cut from an infinite band according to the invention;
Figure 2 is a top plan view of the device of Figure 1;
FIG. 3 is an enlarged partial view according to FIG. 2;
FIG. 4 shows an electrical circuit of the electrical system of the device shown in FIGS. 1 and 2.
A cutting machine for cutting an endless belt 12 into sheets or sections in desired lengths has the following elements: a pair of transport rollers 10 and 11 for transporting the belt 12, which is unwound from a roll, not shown; a work surface 13; a fixed cutting edge 14; a preferably hydraulically vertically alternating up and down vertically movable cutting edge 15, which is controlled by a solenoid valve E1, and a photocell FT, FR, which is adjustable at such a distance from the cutting edges 14 and 15 that depends on the length of the to be cut Sheets 12 aligns.
The photocell FT, FR, the solenoid valve E1 and other control elements, avoidance devices, locks and the like (not shown in the figures) are connected by a conventional circuit which includes an electrical control and control panel 52.
A chamber 20, the bottom of which has an opening 21, is arranged under the work surface 13. A fan V3 opens into this opening, the air flow of which can be regulated by means of a flap S. The chamber 20 is not so large that it extends over the entire length of the surface 13 of the cutting machine. More precisely, the chamber 20 ends shortly before the stationary cutting edge 14 and thus forms a slot 22 from which an air flow emerges. This air flow stabilizes the band 12, which moves overhanging from the surface 13 between the cutting edges 14 and 15 before they close. The upper surface 13 of the chamber 20 is penetrated by holes 39.
As a result, the air flow from the fan V3 is driven not only through the slot 22 but also through the holes 39 and thus partially or completely carries the belt 12, so that the friction between the belt and the surface 13 is reduced or eliminated.
Adjacent to the cutting machine 14, 15 there is an inclined surface which is supported by three height-adjustable legs 3. The height of the legs can be adjusted using clamping screws 3 '. The inclined surface is present in the case of two boxes 30 and 31 standing together, which, as seen in FIG. 1, drops to the bottom right and at the same time also drops to a rash 34. The upper surface on the box 30 forms a step 32 to the surface on the box 31, which is parallel to the surface of the box 30. The boxes 30 and 31 are firmly connected to one another in one piece and can be adjusted by adjusting the length of the legs 3 relative to the cutting machine 14, 15.
The slope towards the stop side 34 must be sufficient to cause a sheet 12 'to be placed with its side edge against the stop 34. This side slope should be at least 5. preferably 7.
Fans Vt and V2 are attached to the bases of the boxes 30, 31 and open into chambers 20 'and 20 ", respectively, and the air can be controlled by flaps S1, S2. The inclined surface of the boxes 30, 31 is provided with openings 39 , which form nozzles which blow on the sheet 12 'located above and exert a pressure thereon which is effective depending on the weight of the sheet 12' or on its speed depending on the inclination of the surface.
The pressure acting on the underside of the moving sheet 12 'should be at least equal to the normal component of the other forces acting on the sheet according to the relationship pF # R cos? correspond, where
R is the resultant of the forces acting on the blade (weight and dynamic forces) excluding the pressure forces, p is the pressure exerted through the holes 39,
F is the leaf area,? is the slope of the surface on the boxes 30,31 in the longitudinal direction.
In tests it has been found that for the materials which one wants to process with the device, holes 39 with a diameter of 1 to 15 mm and a ratio between hole surface S @ and unperforated upper
1 1 area Sp between - and - is appropriate.
1000 100
Furthermore, it was found in these tests that particularly favorable conditions are achieved with holes 39 with a diameter of 7 mm, which are arranged at the intersection points of a network of squares with edge length a = 100 mm and at a distance a / 2 from the side edges .
A slot 32 'is provided on the step 32, through which an air stream emerges. This air flow serves to support the leaves 12 'so that they approximately maintain the direction of movement which they assumed when sliding over the upper surface of the box 30. In the box 30 there is a longitudinal slot 35. This longitudinal slot is formed by taking out two windows in the upper and lower walls and inserting a channel-shaped wall 36 which is connected to the two windows. At the level of the longitudinal slot 35 and on the knockout side 34 of the box 30, a longitudinal rail 36 'is attached, which guides an adjustable sleeve 37.
The sleeve 37 can be blocked at any point on the longitudinal rail, e.g. with a screw 37 ', and carries a bearing 38 in the shape of a C, the opposite ends 38' / 38 "of which are above and below the longitudinal slot 35, respectively, such that the connecting line 40 goes through the longitudinal slot 'and 38 "there is an element FT or FR of a photocell, which gives a signal to start the cutting machine as soon as the leading edge of the strip 12 reaches the connecting line 40. The rays which emanate from one element FT and are received by the element FR run along this connecting line.
Above the box 31 there is a barrier 50 which can preferably be driven by a hydraulic device 51, which in turn is controlled by a solenoid valve E2 and is connected to the electrical devices of the control panel 52 according to the scheme described below. The rake-like barrier 50 can assume two positions: a raised position shown in the figures and another position, not shown, in which the rake bars of the barrier are inserted into the holes 50 'provided for this purpose. When the barrier is in the raised position 50, the sheets 12 'sliding on the upper surfaces of the boxes 30,31 are stopped so that they pile up.
There is also a slot 31 'on the end face of the box 31, which allows an air flow to escape to support the leaves. Adjacent to the box 31 is a block 66, on which the sheets 12 'cut by the tape 12 pile up. The trestle has four columns or legs 6, around each of which a spring 60 is wound. A sleeve 61 is located on the top portion of each spring 60.
The four cans 61 carry a plate 62 which forms a stacking surface, preferably at the same inclination as the upper surfaces of the boxes 30,31. The dimensions, weight and position of the bracket 66 and the force of the springs 60 are selected such that, when there are no sheets 12 'on the stacking surface 62, the edge 62' of the stacking surface 62 is at a slightly lower height than the exit edge 31 " of the box 31. The force of the spring 60 is also selected in relation to the weight of the leaves 12 'present on the surface 62 so that the surface 62 gradually lowers as the leaves 12' pile up, so that the difference in height between the trailing edge 31 "and the top edge 62" of the sheet stack remains the same.
Registration and alignment elements 63 of conventional design can be distributed over the surface 62 in various ways, depending on the dimensions of the blades 12 'to be cut.
The device described works very simply, which is clear from the functional diagram in FIG. By actuating a switch I, power is supplied to all operating elements of the device, i. the motor (not shown) which sets the rollers 10, 11 in operation, the motor of the fan V3, the motor of the fan V1 and the motor of the fan V2. In this operating state, the rollers 10, 11 continuously convey material 12 which runs over the upper surface of the table 13, passes the cutting edges 14 and 15 and reaches the photocells FT, FR. The electrical device according to FIG. 4 offers two possibilities at this point with the changeover switch 7. By setting the changeover switch 7 to the contact M, the device is set to manual operation by means of the push button switch PM.
This setting option is additional, however, because the device is primarily intended for semi-automatic operation, which is started by setting the changeover switch 7 to position Aut (as shown in FIG. 4).
This mode of operation is controlled by the photo cell FT, FR, which acts on a storage relay A to store the control commands.
The phase has now been reached in which the belt 12, which is supported partly by the air flow emerging from the gap 22 and partly by the air flows from the holes 39, brings its front edge into the area of the light beam between FT and FR. The contact actuated in this case is indicated in the functional diagram with the symbol f. In the next phase initiated by the actuation of the contact, contact a of storage relay A closes, while contact c opens and contact c2 closes at the same time.
This starts the solenoid valve E1, as a result of which the tape 12 is cut by the cutter 14, 15. The movable cutting edge 15 is lowered until the end of the operation T of the cutting machine is reached. Closing the contact also puts relay C and its contacts c, and c2 into operation in order to prevent a further downward stroke of the cutting edge 15 as long as contact f of the photocell is actuated. The movable cutting edge 15 must move up before it can be put into operation again, the sheet 12 'must be conveyed further, and the front edge of the belt 12 must again pass the light beam of the photocell Fr, FR. The control command of the contact also has the effect of starting a counter B in the direction of counter zero setting, which counter executes an inverted counting process for each operation of a.
In these circumstances, as many operations are carried out as are set on the counter.
In the meantime, further, mainly mechanical operations take place in the following way: At the end of its downward stroke, the movable cutter 15 puts a device into operation (not shown), preferably an electro-hydraulic device, which returns the cutter 15 to the upper starting position shown in the drawing is. In the meantime, the sheet 12 ', which is supported by the air currents from the holes 39 and moved by its gravity, has slid down along the stop side 34.
At the level of the step 32, the blades 12 'slide smoothly over the upper surface of the box 31 as they are supported and moved by the air flow exiting the slot 32'. The same thing happens when the sheet crosses and drives over the box 31, with the difference that it is supported here by the air flow emanating from the slot 31 '. At this point in time, the inverted counting of the stops is ended (contact d1), contact b of switch al actuates relay D, which in turn activates solenoid valve E2 (contact d2), switches off fan V2 (contact d4), while the Fans V1 and V3 continue to run, and also makes the resetting of counter B dependent on the operation of switch Pa.
By raising the barrier 50 and turning on the fan V2, the blades 12 'are stopped from sliding down and stack one above the other under the step 32 in a sliding motion, as described and shown in FIG. Under these circumstances, the number of sheets stacked on the bracket 66 corresponds to the number set on the counter. The sheets 12 'are temporarily stacked under the step 32 to give the worker time for other tasks and for removing and carrying the stack of sheets. Then the worker sets the counter B again and brings the device back into the state in which it was before the closure of the contact b by operating the switch Pa.
