La fig. I est une vue en plan de la premiére forme d'exécution, le cadre étant en position de repos;
la fig. 2 est une vue selon 1-1 de la fig. 1;
la fig. 3 est une vue en plan du cadre de la fig. 1 en position d'utilisation;
la fig. 4 est une vue selon ll-ll de la fig. 3;
la fig. 5 est une vue en plan de la deuxiéme forme d'exécution, le cadre étant en position de repos;
la fig. 6 est une vue selon 111-111 de la fig. 5;
la fig. 7 est une vue en plan du cadre de la fig. 5 en position d'utilisation;
la fig. 8 est une vue selon IV-IV de la fig. 7;
The present invention relates to a frame for a shower enclosure, characterized in that it comprises a fixed horizontal frame having at its center a mobile shower support, two horizontal supporting elements arranged at the ends of said frame perpendicular to the latter, two articulated arms each horizontally pivoting at the free end of one of said carrying elements, these arms being able to pivot from a folded position parallel to the frame to a position perpendicular thereto, each in the extension of the corresponding supporting element, a movable cross member arranged between the supporting elements parallel to the frame, this cross member being movable along the supporting elements and the pivoting arms when the latter are in the extension of said supporting elements,
and a stop arranged at the end of each of said arms to limit the movement of the cross member.

fig. 6 is a view along 111-111 of FIG. 5;
fig. 7 is a plan view of the frame of FIG. 5 in use position;
fig. 8 is a view along IV-IV of FIG. 7;
fig. 9 is an enlarged perspective of a detail of the frame according to FIG. 5.
The frame shown in FIGS. I to 4 is intended to be fixed, at a suitable height, above a bathtub, a tub or any other arrangement suitable for receiving water.
This frame comprises a fixed frame formed of a horizontal tube I, the ends of which are each joined to a trapezoidal flange 2 intended to be fixed against a wall 3, for example by means of screws. In the center of the tube I is placed a shower support 4 comprising a sleeve 5 rotatably engaged with gentle friction on the tube I and a fork 6 articulated with a ball joint on said sleeve 5, this fork 6 being intended to receive the handle of a shower. telephone type or similar, as shown at 7 in FIG. 4.
On each of the flanges 2 is fixed a horizontal tubular support arm 8 perpendicular to the tube I and at the free end of which is mounted an arm 9 of identical section. Each of the arms 9 is articulated in horizontal pivoting on the corresponding carrier arm 8, this pivoting being limited by the articulation to a stroke of 90. Thus, each of the arms 9 can pivot between two limit positions, one parallel to the tube I (closed position), and the other perpendicular to the tube 1, that is to say in the extension of the support arm 8 (position opened). The free end of each of the arms 9 carries a stop 10.
A movable cross member It is disposed between the supporting arms 8, parallel to the horizontal tube 1. This cross member 11 carries, at each of its ends, a perpendicular sleeve 12 slidably engaged on the corresponding supporting arm 8.
Thus, when the arms 9 are deployed until they are in the extension of the carrying arms 8 (open position), the cross member II can be moved by sliding the sleeves 12 along the carrying arms 8, then along arms 9, until the sleeves 12 abut against the stops 10 of the ends of the arms 9 (fig. 3).
There is then a substantially square horizontal frame from which a curtain (not shown) can be suspended using appropriate rings, this curtain running along the perimeter of said frame starting from the center of the cross member 11 to follow it and pass the along one of the arms 9 and its carrier 8, along the tube 1, along the other carrier 8 and its arm 9, to return to the center of the cross member II. At this junction point, the curtain will preferably be open to facilitate entry and exit of the cabin thus formed.
When the cabin is not in use, it suffices to fold up the frame by sliding the sleeves 12 along the arms 9 and the carriers 8 to bring the cross member 11 close to the tube 1. Each of the arms 9 can then be folded down. that they are parallel to the tube I (closed position, fig. 1). The frame then has minimal bulk and it will be noted that the curtain forming the cabin itself can very well remain permanently attached to the frame because it suffices to push the suspension rings back on the arms 9 to be able to move the cross member 11 freely, the curtain then easily following the folding and opening movements of the arms 9.
The frame shown in FIGS. 5 to 9 is of a design similar to that of the frame described above, and only the structures of its elements are different.
This frame comprises a fixed frame intended to be fixed against a wall 3. This frame is formed of a horizontal profile 13 with a U-shaped section in the recessed part of which are inserted notched plates 14 (FIG. 9) intended to house screw for fixing the profile to the wall 3. At each end of the profile 13 extends a supporting arm 15 also formed by a U-shaped profile, said supporting arms 15 being horizontal and perpendicular to the profile 13 and their recessed parts facing each other .
Near the horizontal profile 13 and parallel to it, the frame comprises a reinforcement profile 16, the ends of which are inserted and fixed in the recesses of the supporting arms 15, this reinforcement profile 16 being followed by guide rails 17 ( fig. 9) extending inside the recesses of the supporting arms 15. At the center of the reinforcing profile 16 is fixed a support 18 on which is pivoted along a horizontal axis a fork-shaped shower support 19 intended to receive the handle of a shower device, not shown.
In the free end of each of the supporting arms 15 is articulated in horizontal pivoting an arm 20 formed by a U-profile, the recessed parts of said arms facing each other. Due to the fact that the arm 20 is pivoted in the recessed part of the profile 15, its pivoting is limited when the two parts are in the extension of one another. As a result, each of the arms 20 can pivot between two positions, one perpendicular to the profile 13, that is to say in the extension of the carrier 15 (open position), and the other parallel to the profile 13 (position closed). Each of the arms 20 carries, at its free end, a fitting 21 forming a stopper and provided with a support tab 24.
A movable cross member 22 is placed between the supporting arms 15 parallel to the profile 13. This cross member 22 carries, at each of its ends, a slide 23 housed in the recessed part of the corresponding supporting arm 15, this slide being capable of sliding along the sides. guide rails 17 to pass through the recessed part of the arm 20 (fig. 9).
Thus, when the arms 20 are moved into the open position, that is to say in the extension of the supports 15, the cross member 22 can be moved by sliding the slides 23 in the supporting arms 15, then in the arms 20 until 'so that they abut against the stops 21 of the ends of said arms 20 (Fig. 7). A substantially square horizontal frame is then obtained from which a curtain (not shown) can be suspended, arranged as in the case of the embodiment of FIGS. I to 4. As in this case, when the cabin thus obtained is not used, it suffices to fold up the frame by sliding the cross member 22 along the arms 20 and the carriers 15 to bring them close to the reinforcement profile. 16.
Each of the arms 20 can then be folded in parallel to the profile 13, one of said arms 20 pressing against the cross member 22 and the support tongue 24 of its stop 21 coming to rest on said cross member 22, and the another arm 20 resting against the previous one, its support tongue 24 resting on the latter, which prevents the arms from bending downwards (closed position, FIG. 5).
