Various components are known from which a step and, ultimately, a staircase can be created. There are already finished steps, for example made of wood, stone or metal, which are fastened in various ways to supporting beams or the like.
The subject of the present invention is a stair element which is intended to be connected to exactly the same stair element in a simple, time-saving and cost-saving manner to form a staircase that is both non-skid and stable. For this purpose, the stair element according to the invention consists of a grate serving as a step surface, a support part standing perpendicular to the step surface of the grate and two fastening arms which are directly connected to the grate and run parallel to the step surface of the grate.
A wide-meshed perforated grate is advantageously used as a step surface, so that water, snow, sand, crumbs of earth and clay fall through and thus the formation of dirt or ice is practically impossible.
Directly connected to the grate are two fastening arms that run parallel to the step surface of the grate. These may include means which allow the stair element to be attached to supporting beams, such as holes for the installation of nails and screws. The fastening arms expediently protrude beyond the grate, so that they are useful as a base for the next higher stair element when assembling the stairs. If the extensions of the mounting arms are long enough, stairs with different angles of inclination can be created with appropriate perforations.
The support part which is perpendicular to the stepping surface of the grate is preferably equipped with a central piece of cylindrical shape.
Such stair elements are mainly used to create stable and anti-slip stairs, especially on construction sites, as well as in open-air facilities and various temporary arrangements. If the ground is soft, it is advisable to support the lowest stair element with a board.
The subject of the invention is shown purely by way of example in FIGS. 1 to 3 and is described in more detail below:
1 shows the stair element in parallel perspective, consisting of the grate 1, the support part 2 and the two fastening arms 3, which are provided with fastening holes 6 here.
FIG. 2 is a side view of the staircase elements assembled using supporting beams to form a staircase, the fastening arms 3 being fastened to the supporting beams 5 with nails 4, for example.
As shown in FIG. 2, the step elements can be put together in such a way that the support part 2 of a step element rests against the grate 1 of the next lower element.
However, since the fastening arms 3 are dimensioned in relation to the thickness of the supporting beam and also perforated accordingly, the stair elements can also be joined together in such a way that a larger or smaller distance is maintained between the support part 2 of an element and the grate 1 of the next lower element.
This makes it possible to use exactly the same elements to create stairs with different angles of inclination in a considerable area.
3 shows the stair element fastened to two supporting beams 5, seen from above, with the grate 1, the fastening arms 3 and with fastening nails 4.
