Abstract
The helicopter drive for the main and tail rotor transmits power from the engine to the centrifugal clutch by a toothed belt. The centrifugal clutch is connected to a shaft and to a freewheeling coupling and hence to the main rotor. The freewheeling clutch is connected by another toothed belt to the shaft driving the tail rotor through bevelled gearing which drives the antirotation tail rotor. The centrifugal clutch which is subject to wear is readily accessible in this design for repairs. The simple instruction and easy assembly reduces the total cost of helicopters which are expensive because of their complicated components.
Description
Die bis heute auf dem Markt befindlichen Helikopter sind sehr kompliziert und teuer. Gegenstand der Erfindung ist ein Helikopter-Antrieb, der sich durch einfachen Aufbau und leichte Montage auszeichnet.
Auf beiliegender Zeichnung ist ein Ausführungsbeispiel des Erfindungsgegenstandes dargestellt:
Das Triebwerk 1 treibt über einen Zahnriemen die Fliehkraftkupplung 2, diese wiederum treibt über einen Freilauf 3 die Hauptrotorwelle 4 mit dem Rotorkopf 5 an. Das Freilauf Aussengehäuse 6 treibt über einen Zahnriemen das Heckrotorgetriebe 7 an. Dank dieser Anordnung kann das Hauptverschleissteil, die Fliehkraftkupplung, die ausserhalb des Getriebes liegt, innert weniger Minuten ausgewechselt werden.
Durch diese Ausführung wird sowohl die gesamte Montage des Helikopters als auch der Einbau beliebiger Triebwerks-Typen erheblich erleichtert.
PATENTANSPRUCH
Helikopter-Antrieb mit einem Motor, einem Getriebe und einer Fliehkraftkupplung, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Fliehkraftkupplung ausserhalb des Getriebes derart angeordnet ist, dass sie für Montagearbeiten frei zugänglich ist.

The engine 1 drives the centrifugal clutch 2 via a toothed belt, which in turn drives the main rotor shaft 4 with the rotor head 5 via a freewheel 3. The freewheel outer housing 6 drives the tail rotor gear 7 via a toothed belt. Thanks to this arrangement, the main wearing part, the centrifugal clutch, which is located outside the gearbox, can be replaced within a few minutes.
This design makes both the entire assembly of the helicopter and the installation of any engine type much easier.
PATENT CLAIM
Helicopter drive with a motor, a transmission and a centrifugal clutch, characterized in that the centrifugal clutch is arranged outside the transmission in such a way that it is freely accessible for assembly work.
