6c an diesem eingehängt.
Stangenteil la, If bestehen.
The present invention relates to a device with a rod for operating devices, even at great heights, which are arranged at the upper end of the rod.
The object of the present invention is to create a light but nevertheless stable device which can be used in many places without the use of expensive equipment. The solution to this problem according to the invention is characterized in that the rod is composed of several rod parts connected by means of detachable plug-in couplings, wire cables being arranged around the rod, which are guided approximately parallel to the rod in their middle part by means of retaining stars arranged on the rod parts and their ends are mounted obliquely against the rod by means of brackets attached to the rod.
The invention is illustrated by way of example in the accompanying drawings and described below. It shows:

12 shows the stabilization of a partial rod and the connection with further extension pieces and
13 shows a view of a further tensioning device.
In Fig. 1 a device is shown which is composed of rod parts la to lf that can be plugged together. The uppermost rod part la is used, for example, to accommodate a tool (not shown), while the lowermost rod part lf can be used, for example, as a handle. At the upper end of the rod part lb a retaining ring 2 is attached to hold the upper ends of four parallel to the rod parts guided wire cables 4, which serve to reinforce and stabilize the rod formed from the rod parts.
The wire rope hoists 4 are guided by means of holding stars 3, 6, 7, which each have a guide ring 3a, 6a, 7a, which can be moved easily on the rod parts, with two diametrically arranged holes 3f, 6f, 7f, of which only hole 6f is visible, and with four on them attached, for example by welding, and have radially protruding guide arms 3, 6b, 7b. The ends of the guide arms are connected to one another by means of a wire rope, see Fig. La. Corresponding to the greater stress in one direction, the distance between the wire rope hoists in the direction of the stress is greater than across it.
The wire rope hoists 4 consist of several wire rope sections, of which the four uppermost sections 4b, 4c on
Retaining ring 2 and are attached to the mounting star 3 and each have a loop 3c at their free ends, which are suspended in hooks 6d on the ends of the guide arms 6b of the mounting star 6. At the ends of the guide arms 6b, four wire rope sections 4d are attached with loops 6c at their free ends; the latter are suspended in hooks 7d attached to the end of the guide arms 7b. In the same way as with the star holder 6, four wire rope sections 4e are attached to the star holder 7 with loops 7c, which, since the four wire rope pulls end on the rod part le, are attached to a ring 8 with hooks 8b.
The wire rope sections 4c, 4d, 4e are of the same length. If the wire rope pulls end at the rod part 1b or 1c, the locking ring 8 is arranged instead of the holding stars 6 or 7 and the loops 3c or 6c are attached to it.
It is essential for the stability of the device that the retaining ring 2, the uppermost retaining star and the locking ring 8 are fixed to the rod parts, for example by means of a socket pin 2e, 3e, 8e with screwed-on wing nuts against rotation and axial displacement, each of which is inserted into a hole in the relevant rod part.
This results in the basic structure of the device, which has the following elements: a) the end elements, which consist of the top and bottom
Rod part la, If exist. These can be in different
Way to be adapted to the respective purposes.
b) the elements of the upper end of the wire rope hoists 4, referred to collectively as the head piece; these consist of the two rod parts lb, 1c, the retaining ring 2 and the retaining star 3, each with a socket pin 2e, 3e and four wire rope sections 4b, 4c with the loops
3c.
c) the extension pieces, consisting of a rod part, a bracket system with hooks and a wire rope section with loops. In Fig. 1, such a Ver extension piece ld, 4d, 6 is shown.
d) the end piece as the lower end of the cables 4, be standing from one with the extension piece in the
Masses identical part le, 4e, 7 and the closing ring 8.
Various other design variants can be derived from this basic structure. For a short rod, an extension piece can even be dispensed with and the locking ring 8 can be attached to the rod part 1c. In particular, clamping devices can be provided to increase the stability.
As can be seen from FIG. 24, for tensioning the wire cables 4 in individual holding stars 2 or all four holding arms can be equipped with a tensioning device, for example in the uppermost holding star 3. The guide arm 3b has a tube 10 with a rod 11 guided therein at the end of which the wire rope section 4b, 4c is attached. A holder plate 12 and an elastic flat bar 13 are fastened to the rod 11 with a screw 14.
In the extended state, the flat bar 13 jumps in front of the tube 10. A recess 15 in the bar 11 has the effect that the flat bar 13 has a larger stop surface on the tube 10.
When assembling the device, the mounting stars provided with the tensioning device 12 to 15 are assembled without tension and tensioned only after assembly has been completed, while they are first relaxed during the disassembly.
In Fig. 1, in a departure from the basic structure, the extension piece ld, 4d, 6 additionally has two diagonal connections 9 to achieve greater stability of the rod, which can be attached to the longer rods as required, for example to operate a device for cleaning windows lower extension pieces can be attached as reinforcement and which extend with respect to the (in Fig. 1 left) assumed window front from the lower bracket star 7 outside to the upper bracket star inside.
The arrangement from bottom-outside to top-inside can also be reversed in the area of the upper end of the rod, i.e. H. from bottom-inside to top-outside. If necessary, crossed diagonal connections can also be made.
As soon as diagonal connections 9 are made, however, in addition to the topmost mounting star, the bottom mounting star 7, as shown in dashed lines in FIG. 1, must be fixed against rotation by means of a plug pin 7e. If an extension piece with a diagonal connection g 'is used as the foot piece, this remains untensioned, see FIG. 1, since the wire rope sections are attached to the end ring 8.
5 shows a section through the retaining ring 2, which has two eyelets 20 for receiving the ends of the wire rope sections 4b, which are fastened therein in a suitable manner, for example by soldering. The retaining ring 2 has two bores 2f, which are also present in the rod part 1b and in a coupling tube 5 connecting the rod parts and through which the socket pin 2e with a bolt 21 with two end threads 22 and two screwed-on wing nuts 23 is passed.
The locking ring 8 has hooks 8d instead of the wire rope ends attached to the retaining ring 2, which are conveniently arranged so that the same (not visible) hole 8f can be used for the socket pin 8e as for fixing the retaining stars in the other rod parts.
6 and 7 show two embodiments of the plug-in coupling with coupling tubes 5, with which the rod parts can be plugged together, wherein in the rod parts lb, 1c, ld, le, lf and in the coupling tube 5 a bore 25 is provided, into which a spring 27 loaded, diametrically guided coupling bolt 26 or 26 'engages. Screws 28 limit the displacement and prevent the bolt 26 or 26 'from falling out after assembly.
In the embodiment according to FIG. 6, the bolt 26 is guided diametrically by means of a guide pin 29, the head 30 of which protrudes into a bore in the coupling tube 5 so far that it does not touch the rod part 1, while in FIG. 7 the stud screw 28 takes the lead. The diametrically guided coupling bolts 26 resp.
26 ′ enable a minimum play to be maintained between the bolt and the bore 25.
8 and 9 show another tensioning device for tensioning the four wire cables 4. Compared to the basic structure of the device according to FIG. 1, the locking ring 8 is replaced by a mounting star 32 with guide arms 34 and a guide ring 33, the latter being a square tube and running smoothly is movable on a square guide tube 37. The square guide tube 37 is firmly connected to the handle tube lf and has an opening 38 so that the bore 25 is accessible and the coupling bolt 26 or
26 'can be actuated for the assembly and disassembly of the device.
A tensioning device 55, 60, 61 is used for the common tensioning of the wire rope hoists 4, which has a pair of rope pulleys 60, which can be rotated on an axle 57 mounted next to the rod IF and by one with the rope pulley pair
60 firmly connected, tubular clamping lever 61 is actuatable bar. A support ring 58 which is longitudinally displaceable on the rod lf can be fixed by means of a pin 69 penetrating bores 67. The side of the support ring 58 is the axis 57 receiving the bearing tube 56 is arranged, which carries a ratchet segment 83. On the holding ring 35 connected to the wire rope sections 4f, two wire ropes 55 each engage at two opposite fastening points 36, which run on the rope pulley 60 and are attached to it.
The wire cables 4 are tensioned by pivoting the tensioning lever 61 upwards. A locking tooth 84 engaging in locking tooth segment 83 is used to fix tensioning lever 61, which is guided displaceably in the cavity of tubular tensioning lever 61 and is pressed against segment 83 by a spring 85 supported against an abutment. A pulling element 87 acts on the locking tooth 84 and is connected to a pivot lever 86 supported on the outer end of the tensioning lever 61.
By pivoting the same, the locking tooth 84 is withdrawn from its engaged position and the clamping lever 61 is thereby released. If the bracing is loosened, the loops of the wire rope sections can be unhooked from the hooks of the mounting stars and thus the rod can be dismantled.
10 and 11 show a special use of the device according to the invention. Very long poles cannot be operated for a long time without aids because they are relatively heavy despite their low weight per unit of length and, accordingly, the lateral corrections can only be carried out with great difficulty. With the support device 99 described below, this difficulty can be overcome.
The device 90 shown in FIGS. 10 and 11 corresponds in its basic structure to the device described according to FIG. 1, but it is equipped with further extension pieces 91. The device 90 consists of the end elements la, lf, between which extension pieces 91,
92 (with diagonal struts 9 from bottom-outside to top-inside), 93 (without diagonal struts), 94 (with diagonal struts 9 from bottom-inside to top-outside) are arranged. Instead of the upper elements (corresponding to the elements lb, 1c, 3, 4b, 4c in Fig. 1) extension pieces can be arranged. The entire device can be equipped with a clamping device, not shown, as shown in FIGS. 8 and 9.
The support device 99 can be moved on the floor 104 parallel to the wall 102 on two wheels 101 which are attached to both ends of a horizontal pipe 103 running parallel to a wall 102.
The lower end of a guide strut 105, which runs parallel to the rod 95 inclined relative to the wall 102, made of triangular or square profile, is attached in the middle of the tube 83 and the upper end to a connecting strut 106, the lower end of which is close to one end of the Rohres
103 is attached.
The carriage 107, which is movably attached to the guide strut 105 by means of rollers (not shown), is connected to the handle lf of the rod 95 by means of two struts 108.
The fastening of the struts 108 to the rod 95 is expediently done by means of easily removable clamps. For a lower and upper stroke limitation of the carriage 107, adjusting rings (not shown) and clamping means (not shown) for blocking can be attached.
The device 90 is either motorized
Force, the control being carried out by a correspondingly arranged switch, or operated by hand, with a
Counterweight 109 produces at least approximately a compensation for the weight of the device so that it only has to be actuated but no longer has to be carried.
A pulley 110 for the weight 109 hung on a wire 111 is either attached to the upper end of the struts 105, 106 or, as also shown in FIG. 10, to the upper end of the wall 102 z. B. above the top window on a horizontal and parallel to
Wall 102 extending rail 112 by means of a pulley 114 carrying a pulley 114.
The axis of the deflecting roller 110, which is arranged above the guide strut 105 and which must be of a certain size, is expediently turned slightly to the side so that the
Wire rope 111 with the counterweight 109 next to the parts
101, 103, 105, 106 can walk past.
When the pulley 114 is suspended from the running roller 113, a support 115 de mountable attached to the upper part of the rod 95, but directed away from the wall 102, at the free end of which is a wire rope
116 is attached, which intersects with the deflection roller 114 with its continuation 117. This gives the Gegenge weight 118 more distance from the wall 102, and the additional pressure that the device 90 in the direction of the wall
102 is enlarged. This pressure can be influenced by the length of the support 15 and its inclination to the wall 102.
For motorized actuation of the device 90 up and down, at an approximately horizontally protruding end of the
End element la a switch 119 is arranged which changes the drive when the device reaches, for example, the protruding edge of a window.
An auxiliary rope 120, shown in phantom and attached to the end element 1a, is used to lift the device 90, for example when cleaning windows. It can also be used as a side guard and guide.
Since the stability of the device generally increases with increasing pre-tensioning of the wire rope hoists 4, manual tensioning can be replaced by hydraulic means, for example, when very high devices, in particular on vehicles, are used. For this purpose, the wire rope hoists 4 are attached at the lower end to the vehicle bridge and the rod 95 is raised by means of a hydraulic lifting unit until the desired pretension is achieved.
It should also be mentioned that in the embodiment according to FIGS. 8 and 9, instead of the square guide tube 37, another longitudinal guide, for example a round tube with a wedge guide, can be used to guide the ring 33.
It is essential that the mounting star 32 cannot be rotated, but is easily axially displaceable.
The extension pieces described under c) are expediently of relatively great length and all of the same length.
If you also use a shorter extension piece that is half as long, any intermediate height can be achieved.
When setting up a very long pole, which no longer allows direct erection, a partial pole with the greatest possible length is set up first. The locking ring assembled for erection remains assembled so that this part of the rod retains its stability when additional extension pieces are assembled in the inclined position. The extension piece with the mounted locking ring and the next one are coupled to one another as follows, see Fig. 12: a) The star bracket of the upper extension piece is additionally provided with a downwardly directed hook 130a at the ends of the guide arms 130.
b) The ends of the guide arms 131 of the lower holding approximately star have no hooks, but upward continued wire rope sections 13 whether with loops at the ends that are attached to the downward hook 130a of the upper star bracket.
In Fig. 13 a further tensioning device is described, which is only mounted for tensioning and releasing, which consists of a cap 135 that can be plugged onto the rod end with a fork-shaped lever 136 articulated off-center and connected to the locking ring 8 by means of a length-adjustable cable 137 and with which the wire cables 4 are tensioned by pivoting the lever 136 in the direction of arrow 138, whereupon the locking ring 8 (shown in dashed lines in FIG
Position) is fixed in a bore 139 arranged on the rod part.
